Has anyone played one of these? compared to a regular 6505+..I liked the earlier 5150-6505"s...They sounded Beefy"..I sold them while back(regretfully).. I played a couple newer 6505"s and sounded like total Thin wimpy shit! what gives?.They change something in the curcuitry?..I always wondered what EL34"s would be like in these amps? Well because of this review I went and picked one up and it is everything I hoped and could ever imagine. T H E best amp purchase I have ever made. Just make sure you have pickups that will send the amp into bliss. JB's , 2nd Degree Black Belts, Afwayus (from MotorCity Pickups) etc..... The amp is fucking well built and is perhaps the loudest amp 2nd to the 6505+ I have ever had the pleasure of raping.

The Bugera 6262 gives you the option to use either 6L6GC or EL34 tubes (or EL34L or KT77 tubes for that matter) and with the savings you can get a killer cab and then some.

@whoobibi AND I JUST READ A THREAD ON UG's FORUM .. ".So my Bugera decided to go silent. The tubes (4 6L6 GC's) seemed to not produce that blue glow they usually do, so I ordered a new set of tubes. They're on their way, but on the while...what other problems could there be? The preamp tubes still produce a small glow inside, the lights still work...the only differences to the usual are that the 4 tubes don't light up and there isn't any of that humming sound coming from the amp

@mikevmpr3 Link? And which is it..did the amp go silent or blow up? Because elsewhere you talk about amps "blowing up". If it went silent, this is an old problem from about 2 years ago that is fixed in all current production amps related to a connector that is easily replaced. Any amp that demonstrated the problem was replaced under warranty. There is a lot of trolling about Bugera amps; I actually own two of them and have never had a problem.

Just got the exact same amp and cab this weekend. I'll absolutely need to get a noise gate (ISP G-string probably). But I love the sound. The cleans are surprisingly good.

I don't have any neighbors and even though, with the volume or "POST" in this case at 1/2, it is plenty loud! Really happy with it.

Stimmt.Scoop klingt nur zuhause richtig geil,in der Band geht man damit unter.

Ich dreh zwar bei mir die Höhen und den Bass auf ca. 3Uhr aber die Mitten nie unter 12 Uhr.

@massif20022000 get yourself a used 4x12 with blown or no speakers for like 50$ or even free. then go to avatar speakers and get 4 v30's - like 80$ each and you'll have yourself a 1000$ cab for a few hundred bucks. I did the exact same thing ... found an old peavey 5150 with sheffie's in it and swapped em out for the v30's ...sounds sweet with any head but especially nice with this one.

@massif20022000 There'll more than likely be a matching cab but... Framus Dragon 412, Marshall 1960 412, Mesa Boogie over sized 412, etc... There's loads of brilliant cabs out there that would do well with this amp.

dass der amp im metalsektor eine referenz ist, war klar, leider wurde in dem video nicht darauf eingegangen ob er auch clean kann, was für peaveys ja schon öfter eine hürde war. interessant wäre auch der unterschied von + und nicht + gewesen.
