  • Keep in mind, there are still 757 dead bodies in the ship at this very moment. I wouldn't dive there for any price.

  • 7:35

Did that diver say, "Fucking nuts"? Now that's respectful......

  • @dawg1157 He says thanks very fucking much lol

  • Donald Duck is doing great job.

  • @Pultset I thought it was Talking Tom Cat...

  • There were no people in this cabin when the ship sank, as far as I remember it, there were 3 swedish ladies in this cabin and all of them were rescued.

  • Anyone know when this dive was done?

  • is he talking to the smurf on the other line?

  • "Follow the yellow brick road...follow,follow,follow, ......." Sorry. Seriously, this is really difficult to watch. This guy has guts for diving this. Watched the 'Mayday call' vids & the 'Seconds from Disaster' sequence on this tragedy at sea. All very good. God bless these souls. A horrible tragedy that should never have happened. All R.I.P.

  • why do they sound like donald?

  • @TooMuchFun243 Its not regular oxygen inside those ballons its helium

  • @HardRockFinland Ah ok, thanks.

  • @TooMuchFun243 because of the pressure of the water of that depth, its just normal

  • lol funny sounds

  • I wonder what was the real purpose to break in to 6th deck? No answer has given. There had to be some valuable and what? This should have been like forbidden place for everyone!?

  • Chipmunk on the phone.

  • 2.11 ...

  • @torque234

What about the plastic bag in 2.11 ...??? Do you think there is a rotting corpse in the bag??

I´ve seen the most of the diving movies, even from the Baltic Bar from deck 6, and from the staircases, for those who think that there was any posability to try to identify the victims, i had to say a´m very sorry, there was so much debris everywhere and there where NO FLOATING CORPSE!

  • @torque234

There is one more thing that i like to say to those who "revel" in anotherones disaster!

For those who had familymembers that didn´t survived the catastrophe, we should have respect and let them go on with there lifes, and don´t remind them of this, by this type posts of perverted interest of how the victims looked like after they drowned.

Grown up for god sake! :(

  • @MrVectrex

I do not "revel" in another's loss.

I am sorry for all those who perished and made a mistake in thinking that was a corpse. Don't be so quick to judge.

  • @torque234

    Dear Mr.

I´m not the one to judge each and another, but after all the inserts from everybody in this thread, it seemed to me that this was exactly what everyone wanted to now! and when i saw your short posting "2.11..." it looked to me that you where the same. Please! try be more specific of what you want to say, that may decrease the number of missunderstanding.

Sorry if i "bugged" you, and i´m sorry for my bad english as well!

    MrVectrex

  • @MrVectrex

No problem i'll be more clear next time

  • I knowing the first divers who was down there first time after 1 veek after the acciendent. I cant remember was deck he was in but he said. He had confidentiality to talk about it. I meet him 3 years ago, and talk about the diving he said this was "Something he never forgett!! it was a Nightmare! Just thought how it could be to follow the chip down OMG!!..

R.I.P to all them, we vill never forgett them...

  • 4.22 - Did he say: That looks like a fucking flesh?

  • But it was not an AK47. It was the divers bill hook tool he uses for pulling debris out of the way.

  • The diver only goes into one cabin and specifically reports there are no bodies after searching the whole cabin. What I would like to know is why he's in a passenger cabin on deck 6 away from any cause of the sinking...

  • And knees at 4:25 ?

  • 4:32 Is that another body (chest and arm) right before the face?

  • BODIES ARE SEEN AT: 1.57 ( lower body with black underpants. You can also see a GIN long drink can floating around about 2 sec earlier) 2.56 (prob same body again. You can see stomach with bellybutton and arms.)

3.07 (some say that it looks like a face on the ground. not sure) 3.09 (NOT an AK-47. AK-47 has curved magazines)

4.35 (pushes body that is in the way. He tries to covers it with a blanket or something similar)

  • how did a chipmunk get down there?

  • When were the videos filmed?

  • @Pyroman1990

I think this video was made on 04/12/1994 - several months after the sinking (this date is consistent with other similar footage plus there is another video in this series where the 4th of the 12th is mentioned...) also it must be fairly soon after the disaster as the paintwork of the vessel and interior fittings etc are still fairly intact

  • why did they have to make their voices so silly

  • Hang on, if this ship is on its port side, why is this diver going over to a bed and picking up a make-up bag which is in the center of the bed, if this video is true the bag and all other things should be all over the place not neatly place as if the ship sank stright.

  • @vonchappell - not really - things float around, and settle the strangest places. Sometimes very neatly. It's not uncommon to see things still in their right place on shelves and in drawers, and clothes still on hangers in the wardrobes, even if the ship has sunk upside down..

  • that ak-47 can be toy gun?

  • @MrSinihammas Soft air gun Ak-47 i think...

  • 1.54, Gin Long Drink!

  • 4,36 that looks like a face:(

  • It most likely is, see how diver covers it with sheet?

  • @renecane yupp they're cower it whit sheets scary stuff:(

  • @DukeNukem500 Yes creppy...

  • 3:10 AK-47?

  • In 3:07 it can seeing an human face yes but allso AK-47!

  • That face thing was creepy as hell. But that sure was either AK-47 or other assault rifle based on same design. Hmm, could that be the reason they do not want to get the ship up?

  • Hey, it can be new divings to the ship in autumn 2010 or spring 2011.

  • Shit that must've been creepy swimming over there.

  • Hard job. RIP

  • 3:07 a human face

  • they should rise her experts said 94 that its not imposible........insted they wanted to cower her whit gravel that should exceed the raising costs by far they wanted to hide something....something fishy.

  • it's so cruel... nobody remembers those who died there anymore... nobody visits them... they just are in that watery grave forever, alone...

  • @MrTurpasauna I believe the Estonia is a protected site, protected in law in many european countries. its actually illegal to dive it and you can be arrested in all of these countries..... that said, it is sad!

  • @MrTurpasauna Finnish government amog others betrayed all the people, who lost their loved ones

  • @MrTurpasauna Finnish government among others betrayed all the people, who lost their loved ones

  • @MrTurpasauna

    god bless this diver

for going well bryond gods duty

to continue to dive after realising he was swimmimg in a sea of decaying flesh

god bless those who defied hells wind staff

  • My cousin died on that ship!

  • today is 15 years when she sunk:(

  • The reason for the Chip and Dale voices are because that they breathe in Helium-Oxygen mixture from their air tanks. This is because of the extreme depth of their dive.

  • no! You know the stuff that they put in balloons so that they go up, compared to when you pump regular air to it. That is helium. Take one breath, and you will sound funny, this is because of the density of the helium, it simply weighs less than air. Now, Oxygen AND Helium combined is better at deep depths. I have takes scuba lessons and that is what I have heard from my instructors, but there is a lot of training and certifications before you are even allowed to. RIP all who dies on Estonia.

  • cool story bro

  • what cabin number did u have

  • hellish deep-diving bikeoki i know also that they use helium but its not helish its like 75-90 meters where estonia is :D thin about this titanic is 4000+ meters :D but they are doing submarine divings there but the point was that some people has done non equipment dive 100m so :D

  • nice voice

  • Those divers sound like chip n dale. Pretty freaky video in general.

  • It's the helium-Oxygen mix they are breathing, because sea depth is bellow 50m

  • Its the air mixture they are using to avoid the bends, which is quite painful and can kill you.

  • Why did they go to that cabin? What did they do there?

  • One of the survivors forgot his car keys in there.

(Very bad joke indeed, I just had to. Sorry.)

  • No, that was hilarious :)

  • How did the diver know that it was bits of flesh floating around?

  • Frederik19951995

    The Ship sank in September!

  • Konstigt att dom inte hitta några kroppar.

  • Thats not an AK-47, trust me.

  • I dont know why but this job doesnt feel serious to me. Its a grave for so many innocent people and they are joking and laughing. They even dont seem to have a plan of what they are doing. They just throw stuff everywhere like rubbish. It really looks like a AK-47 at 3.10 and noone notice it.

  • yes looks like AK but not AK!

  • If you're diving at depths like these, exploring a sunken ferry that eventually contains a lot of corps, you have to keep the conversation easy.

  • Comment removed

  • Kolla på 3:10 mans ser att det ligger ett vapen där!!!!

  • 3:10, That's a fucking AK-47!

  • maybe deactivated one bought from Estonia? =D

  • gosh. i wouldn't have had the gutts to dive in that wreck with all those (still) left behind bodies of ppl that faced a horrible death. that's a mass grave!. But my fully respects to the diver for doing his job on this investigation.

    RIP for those that died

  • @rpcheergirl why weren't the bodies brought up? :S

  • @YouSawMeInURdream The Governments were worried of the costs of the operations + the cost of the salvage operation.

  • I remember hearing about this many years ago. What an awful tragedy.

  • amazing, I can hardly see sh*t in this video and hardly hear anything the diver says. what a tough job!

btw, AquariusPL, plz don't post videos of bodies if you have any... at leaast without warning first! nice uploads though so far :-)

  • In my opinion, it's very important to start investigation again. C'mon, if that ship was built in germany at 1980, I think it's developed to go through VERY heavy waves. That disaster happened on Finnish waters, and there is no such a bad storms. It's not a main reason for sinking that front gate wasn't strong enough. I'm sure that reason for sinking was bombs on a car deck.

  • I've read that the ship was NOT constructred for heavy waves...

  • i've been on that ship in worse conditions. i've criss crossed the baltic with different ferries for a billion times in all types of conditions and all of the fleet is of course meant for the job. also all of the survivors reported hearing a noise of explosion

  • Actually, it is a helium and nitrogen mix that distorts the divers voice. The extreme depth that the wreck is at requires the divers to use this or else nitrogen bubbles would form in their blood while ascending.

  • What is the diver doing around 4.37 - 4.39? Hiding something?

  • this discussion is morbide. leave it in peace, bodies or no bodies. their souls are in heaven.

  • According to the accident report, just outside this cabin, there were two bodies located. I've also seen a longer version of this video, where he actually ventures out into the corridor (this version ends while he's trying to secure the door with rope). At the point he enters the corridor, the tape goes blank and resumes some time later, presumably because the bodies were visible, and later edited out before the video was released to the public.

  • That's interesting, can you send me this video somehow? It's really hard to get original videos with visible bodies floating around, but I can understand this. I think now, only some skeletons left on Estonia, accident happened 14 years ago, so flesh is full decomposed by now...although...who want to see it? Not me...

  • I've been on a cruise on estonia few years before the accident... creepy.

  • jesus, human flesh floating around :/ R.I.P :(

  • is it Donald Duck?

  • @Osis93 it's because they mix helium into the diving mix in deep diving.

  • you dont get a overview at all!

  • Between the helium and the accents I can't understand the divers hardly at all. That would be some seriously spooky shit though... jesus, I can't even imagine.

What's the significance of cabin 6129?

  • Uhh, no. It's helium.

Divers use it to avoid nitrogen narcosis when going deep--the Estonia is under nearly 300 feet of water.

  • 1.55 you can see G-I-N Long drink there always on ships ffs

  • I can't understand how people can go down there and explore a ship with decaying corpses-they must be really brave or something. I would be traumatized after such an experience.

  • None human bodies are visible in this video. Diver only reports floating debris and describes them as "bits of flesh". So we can belive that they're from decaying corpses in the corridor. Anyway, why you want to see them? Have some respect to the victims...I don't thik you would like people to see for example rotting corpse of your father floating in sunken ferry, somewhere in cold, dark water...

  • hi..acquarius pl..thank for informations...of course i have some respect for the victims and of course i have a moral coscience...but i have see the video like also have you see equally....my respect is equal to your...

  • even then the subs haven't some respect for the victims....we must not be hipocrites

  • Indeed, but I don't think they want to do this anyway. That's their job...

  • There is must be body somewhere in cabins too. and the staircase was rumored to be full of bodies. ans lik you said that there were "bits of flesh floating" There must be skeletons in there right?

  • i think its rotten flesh and everything has disapear.. this happened ages ago.

  • well i don't think they had disapeard it wasn't so long time ago when it sank. and if some doors are closed some fished don't just come there and eat those guys! there must be so fucking many dead bodys around there

  • it could be possible.. but a body cant be in water to long time I think everyone knows that.

  • ..at least bones doesn't disappear so fast

  • for sure.. but remember when this happend.. more than 10 years ago.

  • lol soon 15yrs ago

  • Comment removed

  • yea about 750 :(

  • No the bodies may be intact. They filmed december 1994 the ship sank november..

  • Okey if they filmed after that short time it should be possible. I though this was a new video.

  • @JokeriPokeri16 I dont belive that theres skeletons. Bodys dont collapse so fast.

  • @alexiximum ...and think about the pressure wherein the victims died OR drowned.

alone in the cabin, pressure rising and water flowing, pretty sick.

  • I have read two official reports about the Estonia disaster, and in case anybody is interested the passenger staying in cabin 6129 that night actually survived and gave a statement to investigators. Unfortunately, according to another report (which agreed with the first report about the passenger in that cabin surviving), divers found two bodies very close to the cabin door, meaning the debris floating around when the diver opens the door could very likely be human flesh.

    R.I.P

  • I would love to go down there!

  • In M/S Amorella we had the same cabin - 6129

    R.I.P. Estonia

  • I regard myself as somewhat brave enough but these guys are just on a different level altogether. In dark cold Baltic seawater, in a sunken mass grave and with unbelievable danger all around some 90m down. That to me is unbelievable bravery or complete insanity..

  • I have to admit those guys are fucking brave or just completely nuts. Why would anyone want to go down there?

  • LMAO these guys are joking with each other down in this boat of horror, where corpses are floating around.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present you. Mr Balls Of Steel One & Mr. Balls Of Steel Two

  • What year was this filmed?

  • End of November, start of December 1994

  • Ah! Thanks. Scary stuff diving there..Cant imagine it is any better today.

  • Thanks.

  • did he go diving with donald duck?

  • In order to dive at those depths they have to use a mixture of helium and oxygen. I don't know the specifics but an obvious side-effect is the cooky voice.

  • Get yourself a brain man!

    He's breathing a Helium-Mixture because he's doing some hellish deep-diving.

  • The captain has not been located. They discovered three bodies on the bridge but did not try to identy them! It is likely that the captain never made it out of his cabin, he was never seen by anyone after the ship started to list and he was not involved in the mayday conversation (it´s mostly officer Tammes).

  • Are there more videos or pictures like this?

There is a book, published when we estonia movie came out, where you can see bodys in the ship, even the captain on the bridge I think.

  • Siis yök! On noilla miehillä munaa sukeltaa tonne kauhukammioon. saisin ainakin sydärin jos näkisin ruumiin ja sen ryppyiset, murskautuneet kasvot. jos tonne mentäisiin nytten kaivaan ilman lupaa siellä olisi varmaan pelkät luurangot jäljellä

  • Was there any bodies?

    löydettiinkö noissa sukelluksissa yhtään ruumiita?

  • Löydettiin. Komentosillalta kolme ja oikeastaan kaikilta muilta kansilta paitsi kakkoselta. Kutoskannella vasemman puoleisella portaikolla oli paljon ruumiita, samoin on jäänyt hytteihin loukkuun ihmisiä. Sukeltaja sanoo, että avatusta hytistä lejui ihokappaleita muistuttavia soluja. Kadoksissa on kuitenkin 765 ihmistä, jos oikein muistan.

  • Witch year is this recorded?

  • December 1994

  • 4:36 pause in there.... that looks like someones face

  • thats creepy stuff man!

  • minkä takia toi sitoo noita naruja koko ajan.

  • Luultavasti siksi et osaa poiskin laivasta

  • NATO had 14 ships, submarines, aircraft, and personnel from the United States, Europe, Sweden, and Russia assembled near the scene of the sinking of Estonia. The purpose of the NATO exercise included "search and rescue" operations, yet when disaster struck, NATO did nothing to help. Why? What was NATO doing that was more important than saving the lives of their citizens? Why won't they even talk about it? If not the citizens, to whom is NATO accountable? What kind of organization is this?

  • i'm damn interested on this.

  • Mee to!

  • and me too!!!

  • i know a story that one man from Estonia missed the ship and he said "It was the happiest day in my life!"

  • how many miters the wreck of ms estonia is?

  • i think between 56m and 85m from one end to the other

  • I was on the ship in 1991 when it was still called Wasa King. I remember eating chocolate called "Cloetta Kex" in the swiming pool room. Ice was banging on the hull and the sound was very loud. I was scared.

  • I remember Wasa King was shaking when it took of from Vaasa to Umeå.

  • "Some sediment comming up there..it looks to be flesh"

    Läskigt, läskigt i denna likkista!

  • Why is Donald Duck diving around down there?

  • Yeah, I can imagine myself them calling him up and saying "Donald, you got work to do!"!! :D :D

    ROFL!

  • idiot

  • Its a sad story

    but you got my smile

    Farksisten

  • Hehe..If I'm not mistaken the diver is using a helium/oxygen mix which is required/recommended (dont remember which) at that depth.

  • Im gonna wait til tomorrow before I watch this, aint such a good idea to do it in the middle of the night... -.-

  • its easy to understand divers. i think we all baltic people are interested in what happened that night with that ship. were there really guns. and was that really ammunition transportation and was that drowning of Estonia made with purpose. i believe it was not just destiny and happenstence. if it wouild, then now they wouldnt hide so much about this strange night and happenstance.

  • This is quite creepy. I cant understand who wants to dive there.

  • Let the people rest In Peace

  • Why do they go back up in the end? It looks and sounds like they get in a hurry... why?

Maby I've just missunderstood this... cause' it's a bit hard to understand the divers voices.

Thanks for putting this up. A bit scary.

RIP to the souls of the disaster!

  • Becouse when you dive, the time you can be at a specific depht is very limited.

  • can you get subtitles on this...its very interesting...but im pretty bad in english... its almost inpossible to understand the helium guy. great vid btw

  • It's hard to understand divers, that's why their "supervisor" often repeat what they say. I understood that diver describe situation inside ship (for example, after opening door he say "lots of fucking sediments coming in and they looks like bits of flesh"). I will try to make some subtitles.

  • have some respect, fucking dork

  • Just so awesome..More.
