I used to live at Bombay Beach and every morning it was like waking up to a breakfast of Rotten Egg and sewage. There were some nice people but most of the kids my siblings and I knew were mean and very 'redneck' like. This was back in the 3rd grade, some 13-ish years ago. Beach-wise it seemed worse. Don't walk barefoot! Lol. The beach sand is practically made of fish bones and decay. To the sides of the town, it was practically like burning sinking sand. Scary place/

No it's not worth it. I live about 2 hours away, and would dare not go.. It's sooo creepy and deserted. :/

The videography and scoring were high quality. What was actually low quality was the disdain for the area and its residents that the guy and the overweight girl displayed. Yes it's stinky and ugly. Any 14 yr old teenage girl can see that (as the aforementioned two illustrate). I am grateful that you allowed the residents to speak at length, because they had an intelligence and gravity that the "EWH IT SMELLS GRODY! ITS A BEAUTIFUL DISASTER!" jackasses lacked.

@PoodlePuddles8 Thnk you for commenting on the scoring and high quality of the video. However, we were not in anyway trying to disrespect the residents surrounding the Salton Sea. This was film was made as school project; we tried to document this film exactly how we felt when were exploring the surrounding areas; it was our first time visiting this place. I don't appreciate your 'jackasses lacked' and 'overweight girl' remarks. Our intentions were not to offend but to showcase our reactions. :)
