  • Sprint is awful. My phone was defective in the first 3 weeks and they didn't want to fix it. Also the sales guy at the store lied to me about the Sierra hot spot device saying you could use the internet all day. It lasts about 8 days with basic internet use for 50 bucks a month. Sprint can burn in hell and everyone that works for them too.

  • you are probably in a roaming area. I work for Sprint and sprint will cancel your service if you go over 800 roaminginutes/data

  • @xtremepmg But you understand the meaning of UNLIMITED right? i don't mind it having a limit of anything on anything just don't advertise it as unlimited or let me sign a contract that clearly states unlimited!!!!

  • Sprint is a business, not a charity organization. Please read the terms and conditions before you sign up for any contract.

  • Check out Off-Network Roaming and Prohibited Network Uses in the Terms and Conditions. BTW you are required to sign this if you get your phone in a store and over the phone or internet they mail you this document. As far as the wireless cards, they discontinued the unlimited service a couple years ago and sent notifications to the customers about the change and offered them an opportunity to opt out of the contract for no charge. You broke the agreement and didnt opt out when you had the chance.

  • Your stupid they are dropping you because you are going over data roaming!!!! And your contact states sprint can cancel they just will not give you an etf stupid!!! And your plan is not in your contact did you even fucking read it

  • Metro piece of shit is the best cus they have the best plans too 40 dollars a month with no contract there better then verizon tmobile or sprint

  • i like sprint but if your going to drop it go with t-mobile or at&t not verison because they suck ass and they ripped me off so many times

  • 5gig is useless

  • This is just a reminder that as of 1/1/10, Sprint is changing their contracts to add a “Regulatory Charge” of 20 cents per month. Despite the name, this is nothing but an increase in your monthly plan cost, as it is not a consumer tax nor is it required by law. Because of this voluntary fee hike, you can now cancel your Sprint contract without an early termination fee (ETF). You must do this within 30 days of notification (check your billing statement)

  • Sprint Sucks

  • Wow, at least you got out. They extended our contract over a period of a year... took us that whole year to get our. We were left with extra charges and shit.

  • I pretty sure they are using false advertising by having the title of the plan called unlimited data. Seeing as the definition of unlimited means without end, can keep going, no set destination or end. Clearly in the fine print they do have some type of end w/ their unlimited data. Even if they have it in fine print they are still advertising using the word unlimited which you can't just change the meaning of for your own benefit. So they should be forced too change the name of said plan!

  • This has been fixed now cause verizon throttles and so does at&T and sprint dosn't anymore.

  • Retard read your terms and conditions

  • @jd2lopez1 you mean the part that says unlimited data or the part where it says you are a know nothing??

  • todays sep 10 lol

  • Sprint is the only cell phone service I have ever had. I had sprint when the celluar was PCS. Over the years there has been a few misunderstands here and there no big deal. Without going into detail, recently my wife and I were lied to and after talking to several supervisors we got screwed over. We will be shutting off the four smart phones and spending our money elsewhere. Bad Customer service will kill a company.

  • I wish sprint would drop me so I can get verizon

  • i changed my site to travelingeagle, com and the email has changed to travelingeagle1@yahoo,com

  • how do u go over unlimited data

  • @Soop3rKr3WxSTUNTS ya exactly my point

  • @Soop3rKr3WxSTUNTS

because he did not understood the letter he had unlimited data plan, no unlimited ROAMING data ..if he uses lots of roaming data that happens.i know this because i have seen lots of this letters when i used to work on sprint.

  • sprint dropped you, consider urself lucky...

  • @turnerd23 lmao i know i do lol

  • @turnerd23 yea cause u can hook up urn fone with prepaid comp now hehe

    lucky you

  • contract, this is typical bullshit. These companies can't manage their technologies and keep costs down. So they treat their good customers like shit. Same old AT&T behavior. You need the phone, so we treat you like shit

  • I agree, sprint does suck. They are great at one thing and one thing only: Dropping the Call! I even have the Sprint AirRave and it still drops the call when Im in the same room with the pos.

Verizon and At&T will blow Sprint out of the water anyday.

But hey, atleast the name fits, Sprint, because you always have to sprint around to find a single bar of coverage.

  • Ive been with Sprint for so many years. I dont realize I hate them until now... go VirginMobile or something none contract, I did and I got truly unlimited data. ..no more being overcharge with Sprint.

  • sprints not in contract with you buddy... your in contract with them...you use there service for a fee you dont provide them anything.... read your contract

  • @TTY2M2011 ah you are wrong well now you are right as i have supply us cellular with over 4500 sense i canceled sprint. guess i lost that battle.

  • @TTY2M2011 there is no such thing as a contract with only one party, you idiot. Nobody can enter into a contract with himsel., By definition there has to be a counter-party. And is it self-evident that there IS indeed a contract otherwise he could drop out of the deal whenever he wanted, and clearly he can't do that without incurring penalties. So the parties DO HAVE a contract. And he IS providing them with something, he's providing them with money for his side of the contract, moron.

  • Probally roaming to much

  • @cdude100 unlimited

  • @flyingeagleone Sprint data plan is unlimited no caps at all i have used 7 gigs of data on my htc evo 4g and i had it on sprint only mode on however if you roam i believe over 3 gigs they have a right to terminate your contract

  • @cdude100 then would that not by definition be a limit? i had unlimited.

  • @flyingeagleone No company is going to give out a truly unlimited roaming plan its common knowledge look it up on forums

  • @cdude100 so we are in agreement. sprints unlimited plan is a lie and if you dont spend 2 or three hours reading the fine print or let just be honest have you lawyer look it over they will rip you off!

  • @flyingeagleone yaa pretty much but you still got to admit they do have the cheapest plans for everything O so called unlimited if you use it without roaming. but there coverage SUCKS!!!!!!

  • @cdude100 now i thought their coverage was good none are awsome but i pay 59.99 a month now with us cellular been with them for over 4 years i have 5 gig limit data data sharing or tethering and unlimited text great company it uses the verizon network no big complaints their.

  • do u still have ur website can u share the link?

  • BUYERS BEWARE-ON SPRINT! After 45 days trying it (i left Sprint 5 yrs ago-giving them another chance), I want to share why Sprint doesn’t tell you everything: Data SHUTS OFF when on call, means no emails or Internet; HTC EVO is NOT business ready… can’t sync w Outlook; Unl. $69.99 plan is NOT unlimited; Voicemail in-network call forwarding doesn’t work; Sharing of Wi-Fi using EVO only allows 2, NOT 5, users.

  • BUYERS BEWARE-ON SPRINT! After 45 days trying it (and having left Sprint 5 yrs ago), and giving the service another chance, I want to share why Sprint doesn’t tell you everything: 1. Data SHUTS OFF when on call, means emails or Internet; HTC EVO is NOT business ready… can’t sync with Outlook; 3. Unl. $69.99 plan is not unlimited; 4. Voicemail in-network call forwarding doesn’t work; 5. Sharing of Wi-Fi using EVO only allows 2, NOT 5, users. Last, Sprint is not willing to take (continue)

  • BUYERS BEWARE-SPRINT! After 45 days trying it (and having left Sprint 5 yrs ago), and giving the service another chance, I want to share why Sprint doesn’t tell you everything:

  • @theincognitolady33 Boost is kinda slow, bad service only good thing about it was the walkie-talkie.

  • Dude! You get a free ticket out and your complaining! I'm stuck with this crappy company for 1 1/2 more years. Wish I'd get a free out...

  • @meelOOkintoo ya im so glad i didnt get stuck at that place good luck see ya on the out side some day. lol when you sentence is over.

  • For me everythings great except the lack of coverage

  • i agree

  • fuck sprint

  • @MegaPurpleTea i agree

  • if you read the contract fully, you would know that you agreed to terms and conditions, which state rate plans are subject to change.

  • Every carrier has capped the data. Actually now Sprint has unlimited with 4g. 5gigs of data is rediculous though. But every carrier has limits.

  • Correct me if I am wrong but usually people would complain about not bring able to get out. Dudes complaining that Sprint letting him go? Are you sure it's because of your data usage or maybe its because of the b@thing that you have done in the past? LMAO I have never heard of someone being pissed that a company doesn't want them LOL don't take it personal just move on.

  • I have been a good customer of Sprint for at least 4 years. Living in a rural area, all I can get for internet is broadband & have had no problem with Sprint broadband until a month ago. Now the signal from their towers is so weak my overdrive device is constantly disconnecting. After spending hours on the phone just about everyday this month, they all say "sorry", or "I'll fill out a ticket", but still I rarely have a signal. They replace my device twice now instead of fixing the tower.

  • @MissMeowsic -and I still am having problems. One guy told me they are cutting down on "roaming" when I am supposed to have FREE roaming. Now my device is stuck with the stupid tower that rarely works. Sprint has BSed their way through a phone call to pacify me, but after a month of this I'm fed up. Either FIX the tower or let me out of my contract. Why should I pay a cent more when they no longer provide acceptable coverage or service?

  • fuck sprint horrible company never liked it never will

  • Are you sure it's because of going over the 5GB cap? Or is it because of excessive data roaming usage?

  • you had a contract how come you cant sue the sprint ?

  • says.......they only way you are going over 5GB per mo is if you are watching porn in your van down by the river

  • This is true about the web or internet the FCC put a block on the 5GB cap not Sprint and anyother carrier call them and ask about the data or internet and they will tell UUUUU the same thing I told UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • I have tried the web site u said and i cannot find it, however ur plight is and ur discuss with sprint is mute. You recieved a letter from Sprint saying ur terminated... this does not mean u went over on ur data plan or MOU; however I don't know ur account # but because sprint sent u this letter, this tells me that UUUUUUU called in to sprint so many times tha t sprint has been done with you.....because sprint cannot fullfill ur need, so GOODBYE

  • sprint should be charged with crimes against humanity. WORST COMPANY EVER!

  • @professional0893 you sound almost smart enough to work for such a stupid company.

  • @flyingeagleone-LMAO!! =P

  • they also did the same to me sprints a fuckin joke

  • It's not only Sprint that does that. All the providers do that. They all say unlimited and not really are. Verizon, AT&T, T_mobile, and Sprint do same thing.

That said, it is only for usage of 'data plans' for streaming or whatever from your phone.

Some do have a bit higher usage before you get capped though.

Always read the fine print and not just listen to what 'salespeople' tell you. They lie or don't tell you all info.

  • I hate sprint too. I'm getting rid of the ASAP! They are always trying to charge me for things that I never even did. I'm tired of arguing with them.

  • By the way, it's even worse than that. There is so much more, it's scary. I worked for them for over 6 years, and the the things they wanted us to do TO customers is outrageous. I went out of my way to help customers, I thought that was my job, and was let go for it. Hang in there.

  • to Sprint unlimited doesn't mean unlimited. And you went over, because you thought unlimited meant unlimited. That's so silly to think unlimited means unlimited. You must have forgotten to read the Sprint Dictionary for the correct definition of the word unlimited. I used to work for them...get out when you can and never go back. Take care

  • well im sorry to hear that, i hope they file for bankruptcy soon and go out of buisness. And there is no excuse to drop a unlimited account.....once the contract is up they can not offer a unlimited just a 5 gig. but when they drop you they are theaves and should be forced out of buisness.

  • the isnt unlimited cuz we just have a plan for 5g for 59.99 and the unlimited plans to already exist are like ilegal and also there another rule thay says to if u have an over of 5gb of data usage for a period of three months they will send u a letter like the one that u receive so u have two options or look for anoteher company or cry lol im kidding not you just have 1 option change of company

  • there is only one problem with that statement. my plan was unlimited was before they changed to the 5 g limit my contract says so, and there is no 5g limit on my contract, and i was still under contract. there is a third and only choice as far as im concerned is no wireless cuz 60 for5 g is a joke.

  • isnt a joke is a plan and the other proble will be the useage of roaming service because if u are in roaming a lot they cancel your account and im telling u this because im from custumer service of spritn and nextel but as u noticed for spanish ;)

  • Thank you for the feedback I will stay away from them

  • Sprint reserves the right to limit throughput speeds or amount of data transferred; and to deny, terminate, modify, disconnect or suspend service if usage either exceeds (a.) 5GB/month in total, unless specified otherwise or (b.) 300MB/month while off-network roaming. 1024KB equal 1MB. 1024MB equal 1GB.
