Take out that wax from the candles and fill it with vegetable oil. Will burn better and you can re-fill it. You can also use paper bag handle as a wick.

i made one of these to. my advise to you is that you take a 10 inch tall half inch candle and cut thim into two inch pieces. my two engines were side by side and the flame gives it twice as much power.

Have you experimented with the 2 engines side by side? I think the longer straws on the front engine are hurting your power. I am working on a singe and dual engine platform so I can compare the two.
