I have to admit, I was hoping you would squeeze in "Her Majesty" the way it was originally written (before it was yanked from the medley and tacked onto the back of the album), but that is just the silly side of me. Of course I enjoyed the hell outta this.

@Oswlek Justin my man! My basement buddies and I thank you for the great comment. I never knew "Her Majesty" was written for inclusion in the medley. It's a cool little song too, and I could see it fitting in at the end of Bathroom Window.

@jimmymac30 "Her Majesty was originally placed in front of "Polythene Pam", if I remember correctly. That version of the medley appears on one of the Anthologies but if you import the songs into your audio mixer you can get a feel for it.

I actually think they made the right decision jettisoning it, but it is still cool to hear their initial thinking.

Up until then, I had mostly been exposed to country and bluegrass music, and when I heard this music, it sounded like it was from a different planet! Anyway, that was many moons ago, and I'm still fascinated by much of the music the Beatles wrote.
