I really like what the Zeitgeist movement stands for. I think it is great that Peter Joseph and Jacques Fresco are intelligent and well educated people. My question is, how are we going to change people without being dictators? Artists and scientists have tried to educate people for centuries, but all they want is coke, tv, cigarettes and facebook status updates. How are we going to stop the Evangelical church from buying the likes of Guatemala and Brazil through its propaganda? Evolve now!

Good news! Good news! I JUST came back from Zeitgeist: Moving Forward premiere in Los Angeles. It was a HUGE success. I mean, there wasn't a single open seat and the energy was so great. My favorite part of the film is the in depth coverage of The Venus Project proposals and how it will work. Q&A with Peter Joseph was outstanding. He is really intelligent, you can tell by quality of his speech. I have good hopes. Things look good for The Zeitgeist Movement. Keep it up! Thanks. :-)

Why are you discussing the artistic approach of these films? And WTF is "pseudo art"? Art is art! Either you like it, in wich case it's good art, or you don't. There's no such thing as pseudo art. These films are philosophy presented with art and if you like the art or not is not that important. If the philosophy have reached you in any way, it's done it's job and you should consentrate on that. He has created an entire movement around these films and in my book that's huge!

dude you're sounding very tunnel vision. You're here right, we did something right to appeal to you - so that job is done. The simple fact is we live in an audivisual digital age. To get people's attention you -need- to have this approach. It is a prime reason TZM and PJ have seen so successful. I really disagree that it's 'pseudo art'. I think that's a bit pompous dude. It's working, and I see no reason to change it. We have academic stuff, books, essays, and that will only increase.

@TheLovas Peter Joseph (the guy who makes the Zeitgeist Movies), actually works in advertising. So that is probably why he uses more artistic effects than most documentary/informational films.

He does make his films virtually for free so I think he earns the right to have his own artistic expression. Actually, I enjoy watching his films more than the standard documentaries that have very little animations and effects. I can see what you're saying though.

Thanks PJ. Something to look forward to. It is horrible to see where we are as a species but this should provide impetus (or fuel f/t fire) to keep moving forward. I'm 62 and believe w/my whole heart we (& especially this young generation) can make TVP a reality. DON'T GIVE UP. Your kids/grandkids will thank you.
