  • I was a chef for decades, and commercial cookware is pretty much made to be taken apart, cleaned and repaired, for decades. Not so for home appliances, I've found. I would have found those 4 screws eventually --- but you saved me a ton of work and time.

  • Thank you for helping me figure out how to repair/maintain my stove!

  • my stove can't make turn on self . because there isn't "tictac" noise ,while i turn it. i must light. anyone can tell me why?

  • Did you destroy both tubes? I still have one good one, check on line with Maytag or a local Maytag supplier.

  • Where do you buy the replacement aluminum tubes? ...i wish I had seen this video before. Damn. Any help?

  • Wow... great help for avoiding desctruction! I spent $29 on a replacement ignitor and I could get lucky and it will just be a clog.

The up side is I won't spend an extra $100 by destroying top range top!

    Thanks for the upload!

  • thank you for your video. I am working on a whirlpool range with intermittent raw gas smell and I might need to lift the top off, I will look for hidden screws. Thanks again
