  • fire hoses would be a quicker, cheaper and effective way to clear them out.

  • illuminati, root of all the problems, research it

  • @willriskitall Wrong. RAND Corp. Santa Monica. Start by googling RM-365. Go from there, once u understand RAND. The OCAMA project and its 'refinements' created the system that broke all tasks into tiny little parts so nobody is accountable. That is OCAMA... not OBAMA. Oh... and OCAMA and Munger connection explains Warren Buffet. Munger=Satan. We are 'boystown usa' where attorneys fleece us all.

  • glad these cock smokers got arrested. they are just the retarded version of the tea party

  • @ObamaSucks12345 man i couldn't agree more these guys have it all fucked up. you can tell their idiots the actually heckeld ron paul. RON PAUL 2012!!!!

  • @VictorFawkes your disgusting.

  • @VictorFawkes Zionism is the right for Israel to exist. What the FUCK does that have to do with the Occupy movement and capitalism? Your comparison of Zionism to Nazi philosophy is ridiculous. I did not realise how much anti semitic trite was still floating around America. Progressive? Really? The real problem is the power has been taken away from the people and you want to shift blame to Israel? Look mate, read the definition of Zionism. Stop reading Illuminati bullshit.

  • record all things done wrongful against you by the local law enforcement ! record with cell phones , know you're rights !

  • this is how iowa is ran , welcome to it america :) bully cops with no minds of their own ! robots !

  • Hi all im looking for some help by helping me you will make me some money and at the same time make your self some money it is free to do check out my page and join up using my link thanks

  • When the state turns on it's own citizens the state has lost it's legitimacy

  • Unfortunately the police are doing their job...being told what to do by the Business-Govt-Zionist Cooperative (The "Establishment").

  • @vmeister11 Your "zionist" conspiracy theory only discredits you further. Stick to the agenda, not antisemitic type bullshit and you might accomplish something other than sounding crazy.

  • @NoDestinyLive4Now Unfortunately your ignorance of history, politics, and foreign policy is discrediting you. Remove the blinder that others have deftly placed on our society, we will then see the bigger picture. It is quite revolting and is not unique to our generation.

  • The big problem is no demands are being made. What is the identity of the Occupy movement? If there is no specific demands, others forces and individuals can co-opt the movement, taking it over.

    1. Cancel student loans.

    2. 1% Wall Street sales tax.

    3. Stop foreclosures.

    4. Protect social safety net (social security, medicare, etc..)

    5. Nationalize the Fed.

    6. Re-build national infrastructure.

    7. New productive jobs with union wages.

    8. Affordable health-care.

  • Take back the banks, create money that benefits people. Take back the factories, make jobs for people. Take back the local MSM, tell the truth to the people. Take back food production, feed the people. Take back health-care, make people healthy. Take back the police, protect the human rights of the people. Investigate 911, London 7/7, free the people from the manufactured fear that has enslaved them.

  • occupy Iowa! Hell yeah! I'll be there as soon as I get back to town.

  • keep going back. do not be disuaded this is what civl disobedience is all about. We are the 99%

  • And they said the Tea Party was full of trouble makers LOL, Theses people are the ones to FEAR ! ! They have nothing to lose. They want what others have.

  • Is that Rainn Wilson on the left at 1:00 ?

  • I support small businesses. Gut check time; which side are you on? Wall Street or Main Street?

  • Where in the Constitution say the Government can decide when and where American Citizens can exercise their right to assemble?

  • @bhealy52

The courts, who's job it is to interpret the Constitution, have repeatedly ruled that governments can make laws and issue regulations regarding the time and place of such assemblies. Such as "curfew for this facility is 11:00 pm" and "overnight camping is not permitted". The police were well within their rights to remove and/or arrest these misfits.

  • @krag30 Yes, but the latest Supreme Court, for instance, has a nice long history of not recusing its members when they're clearly in conflict of interest, as their 1% friends have them or their wives on the payroll.

  • @krag30 the pigs are robots, down with the pigs and their brutality, they are stooges of capitalism, nothing more

  • The capital campus has a 11:00 curfew. It is not a campground. The right to assemble does NOT entitle them to camp out wherever they please. Apparently, this is too difficult a concept for this group of idiots to understand.

  • @krag30

They're trying to get arrested. Apparently that isn't blatantly obvious enough for an idiot like you to understand.

  • @stopthehatechild

I'm not the one with pepper-spray in the face. I'm not the one trying to sleep on the hard concrete of a jail cell. So it's obvious that I'm the smart one.

  • @krag30 apathy and ignorance: the quintessential qualities of a smart person!

  • @krag30 Any idiot can be selfish.

  • @punxsutawneybarney

Just like the OWS idiots that insist that certain streets belong only to them and other citizens cannot use them.

  • @krag30 No, they insist that as the public, we all own the streets, and we all are entitled to use them. But hey, nice effort trying to deliberately misconstrue a statement that obviously means something other than what you want it to mean. Hard to vilify people unless you work hard to make sure what they say sounds evil or stupid, eh? Good on you, spitting on people who are out there working for your good.

  • @krag30 Smart...debatable. Coward, Obvious.

  • DOGWOOD RICKI YOU ARE PROBABLY DONT EVEN WORK!

  • im driving straight d.c monday and not leaving until this is settled. enough is enough, i been layed off 3 years in a row and lost benefits because of this shit

  • iowa state patrol is nothing but a bunch of nazi's anyway, why werent the local pd called? i'll tell you why, because iowa doesnt want to pay overtime to police, they have a surplus and have been hiding it for years. iowa is a joke anymore, small town america is gone.

  • What are they being arrested for? Sitting in a public place?

  • @bhealy52 camping in a closed public area. And acting like hippies.

  • @blogegog And when was "acting like hippies" made illegal? You remind me of that old Frank Zappa routine: "Years ago in Germany when I was a very small boy there were a lot of people standing around ze corner asking questions: Vy are you standing on ze corner, acting ze vey you act, looking like way you look? WHy do you look that way?" /watch?v=74BIayAsTlg

    Didja get any onya?

  • I have a BA, a full time job, and I am an Army Vet and I support these people.

  • @da1barker Yet your wrong

  • @CubanExile I don't know where you stand on this but I know I and right. I am also not alone in knowing what the truth is. So suck it. :D

  • All we are saaaaaaying, is give us more of other people's hard-earned moneeeeeeey!

  • @DogwoodRicky049 I work and I support these people so fuck you.

  • @DogwoodRicky049

    ok my question is sincere:

what the hell does wall street even produce that we can use in the economy? Really? What the fuck do they actually contribute???

Do they make our businesses more efficient? Really think about that one. They make them more profitable. Who are their loyalties to? The consumer. No. The worker? No. They don't do anything physically other then move paper around. They could be cut out of the entire process and we'd still have a well functioning market.

  • @nobanksnoborders1

on that note... i recently began to wonder if Etrade has a stock I could trade.. think about that level of utter detachment...Its a business that doesn't do anything relevant to resources or products.. that I can now buy a stock of and make money off of. So. its essentially making money by trading a company that makes money off helping people trading companies that may or may not actually do something relevant like make something.

this is the reason people are starving.

  • @nobanksnoborders1

if maybe all of these god damn occupations that exist for the sole purpose of the illusion of money like accounting, stock trading, advertising, banking, managing, bank tellers, bank managers, etc. maybe if they actually fucking did something, like grow food or make tools we'd be living in abundance and not have poverty.. all they do is hack the system to use products that people like me and the working class actually, you know, fucking make with our hands and tools.

  • We are not a democracy, we are a republic with certian democratic principles RESTICTED by the rule of law put forth by our Constitituion.

  • We're not a democracy we're a republic. Democracy is: Rule by omnipotent majority. In a Democracy, the individual, and any group of individuals composing any minority, have no protection against the unlimited power of the majority. It is a case of majority-over-man. A Republic's purpose is to control the majority strictly, as well as all others, primarily to protect the individual’s God-given rights and therefore for the protection of the rights of the Minority. Democracy is mob rule.

  • @btskidz

oh, so a group of representatives somehow is safe from imposing their will over the minorites? really? Or is it actually the court system and the constitution that protects the minority from the majority?

Could we not have a constitutional direct democracy, fully equiped with courts, a constitution to protect minorities, hell even a parliment of representatives? but still give the people a voice? why not? the people deserve to be able to write and pass constitutional legislation.

  • we need some folks to come and give the remaining protesters that are in jail a ride when they are processed out. I have been here since 8:30 am (with no sleep) and need a break. I have posted bail for the remaining jailed, but it may take up to two hours for them to get processed out of the Polk Count Jail (1985 NE 51st) near Ankeny on the northeast side of Des Moines. Bring a sign so they know you are there for them (something small that says Occupy iowa protesters, or something).

  • @NaturalLivingIA hahahahahahahahahaha

  • what ignorant fucks.

  • Wow... All of this in the "people's park."

  • Comment removed

  • No more land of the free and home of the brave. Basically if you go aganist the system you get beat up and thrown in jail. What has this country become??

  • @MarmadukeStrause Where was it in this clip where someone got beat up? If the park hours were not followed then they were trespassing. simple as that. .

  • this is insane, these protesters are acting according to the law, those cops aught to be ashamed of themselves, seriously.

  • So state property paid for by taxes is considered private property? And since when has Des Moines had a curfew for adults? Did the state capitol go into martial law when nobody was looking?

Those protestors need to find a few good lawyers and sue the crap out of the state police for this blatant trampling of their rights. Rights guaranteed by federal law, which supercedes anything the state passes.

  • @MisterTunemonster : That's the answer sue the fuckers. thats the american way you simple fuck.
