9:04 What a way to die..... O well, It was an awsome show!! 12:44 ouch, You gotta feel for him. 14:15 I agree with the comments below. The ending makes me feel sad. But its good that Porter was not only able to become human again but it was good that he was able to move on with his life.
O and when I read the wiki I thought that the thinker was bad and the bad guy was the good way like in bioshock 1 it makes it seem less of a thriller in the end but still a twister
the first time i played minervas den, i got a big shock when i got to know that i was playing as porter all along. and i have never been as shocked as that since atlas betrayed me.
The original bioshock story was better tho it had more visual appeal it felt like this was a small section of it like for example some parts have an dim but not dark old diner type look like paupers drop. Some were dark and presentable like the first one. And some were just plain creepy like the ending
It was during the fight with Delta. If you remember near the end of the Atlantic express level in BioShock 2, Tenenbaum tells Delta that she must go to help others. In this case, it's the Alpha from The Protector Trials, and Sigma that she went to help.
@Halo2nothing11111 In the first bioshoch Sander Cohen in fort frolic had an audio message Were he said a poem he wrote the wild bunney:
"I want to take the ears off, but I cant. I hop and when I hop I never get off the ground, it's my curse, my eternal curse, (voice gets shakey) I want to take the ears off, but I cant, it's my curse, it's my fucking curse. I want to take the ears off pllleeeeaaassse take them off, pleeeeeeeeahehehehehese"
@Deryl32 I normally don't indulge in these kinds of topics, but I think I have an answer.
Subjects Delta and Sigma are purportedly identical, correct? The only thing which would make any Alpha Series unit different from another is equipment, and Sigma has the added aids of Gravity Well and the Ion Laser.
Therefore, given identical footing to start off on, Sigma would eventually best Delta.
Whoa! I'm too poor to get the DLC right now so I watched the whole gameplay series of it you uploaded. I kinda had a feeling that Porter's voice was really The Thinker but I didn't think Sigma was his body! That's awesome! The writing is so clever!
It is revealed that Sigma is Charles Milton Porter, who was previously jailed in Persephone due to Reed Wahl creating a fake audio recording of him so he would be accused of treason. Porter was then turned into an Alpha Series Big Daddy with no recollection of his previous life.
Woah! he was the daddy the whole time? Crazy... though, it feels like it came out of nowhere... a little "deus ex machina" but interesting none the less. Perhaps the most interesting DLC I've seen for any video game. I think it's definately worth it.
One question though, the whole time that he hears porter's voice on the radio, that's the Thinker? then why does the thinker speak in 2 voices?
@Ruffles1014 Originally Subject Delta was Eleanor's biological father (Dr Lamb took his DNA from the archives, she wasn't being specific with who they were, she just needed it for conception), clearly they decided that was too predictable.
Now i just want to give porter a hug T__T

A lot of people called Bioshock 2 "pointless" but I will never tire of Rapture and its limitless number of stories.

lol at the tags.
thanks for uploading this. I love BioShock, but 800 points is too much for a DLC I don't really want.
And am I the only one who prefered the ending of the actual game to this? I cried like a baby when I first played it XD.

Who can honestly say they saw that coming? Anyone who's never played Minervas' Den before. Anyone who's seen the ending before don't answer Xp

mitch9877 1 year ago
Damn, the last few minutes of this little tale truly bitchslapped me.
That was an AWESOME little piece of Rapture right there.
As many people have stated before...if only Bioshock 2's actual campaign could've recieved that sort of treatment...

we get awesome lasers
we get a great story with a chilling twist at the end
we get to find out who the hell we're playing as
just a truly brilliant bit of gameplay
probably one of the best single player expansions i've ever seen
thanks for uploading :)
