  • what makes it different if it has the same motor, etc. Was it the color scheme and bag that came on commercial vacs that makes them rare?

  • the guts were different. This model has a much beefier chassis than the household models did. The motor also had harder carbons.

  • How stronger is the motor on the commercial concept versus the original.. How many amps?

  • The motor is the same as the household version, 5.6 amps.

  • It scared the beejeesus out of poor Jack, he scrambled for safety almost the second it roared to life. Symmone was like, is this thing really louder than my bark? and eventually was like..this is lame Im gonna go look for squirrels. Ruthie on the other hand is a trooper and is just like WOW it's a shiny noisemaker I can chew on.....LOL. The vacuum sounds great too... The kids make me laugh tho. Gotta love dogs....

  • MORE HOOVER COMMERCIAL VACUUM VIDEOS PLEASE!!! I LIKE THEM!!!! Oh and I request a Kirby Heritage II video too!

  • Nice! I've always loved the look of commercial Hoover uprights.

And the Concept One is also one of my favorite vacs of all time. Because it's what we had when I was a child.

  • This one is rare too, serial number is 0002218. Not sure how many were made, but production was only about a year, in 1980-1981. I've had this for a number of years, its never run very well. Now after a new motor and all new wiring, it funally runs as it should.
