I'm in search of a band. Don't get it wrong... Giorgio & Dan are Great, but for many reasons we can't be a full time band. We all separately work hard on our music skills and hopely things will turn out good for all of us. Giorgio lives hours far from my town, and Dan -who lives in my same one- is working more & more on virtual orchestra and less & less on guitars. We are friends and we love to be altogether 1 or 2 times per year, and these are the results !

I add that these of Genialgroup are amateur videos.. since we live in different cities, we did few rehearsal for this, in this case we played mainly for our fun. Our "studio" solo videos have more time and care put into, so more quality, although of coursedon't have the enthusiasm of a live collab like here. You find lots of APP covers on both our channels, check them. Also, as I already wrote, check my new playlist about APP tribute bands.

Thanks a lot ! ;-) Yes, it's wonderful to have friends to make APP covers with ... The best part is that we are friends even apart from playing the Project together :-) Me and the one at the keyboards met thanks to our Project passion. The one at the guitar remembered the Project in the 80's and when we became friends I made him another real fan too ! ^_^ Another one I infected with the Project passion is my friend Albe which does backing vocals together with my bro but they are not on screen !

Thanx Chocolate.. so nice how much video communicates.. in fact, unlike other videos we publish on YouTube, this one was not done on purpose for it, but, originally, more a sounvenir of a friendly and informal meeting for playing.

I want to add, it's not rare to meet APP fans today - the difficult was until around 1995 when the official AP fan club arose, and the internet spreaded. And right in this period EW is setting up many official web resources (official site with forum, mySpace, facebook) and there are many unofficial resources (see for instance our YouTube fans group, now around 300 members).

As for playing music in APP fan meetings, not only we Italians do that yearly since many years, but also at USA fan fest.

Salve a tutta la Band.....Bel medley, e sarò sincero mi è piaciuto molto di più da Some other time in poi ma per più motivi . Innanzitutto siete andati in crescendo, e Alec ha raggiunto la temperatura giusta. la seconda parte della session poi si presta di più. Terzo manca il caratteristico scandire ipnotico sound del colpo di cassa e tom, ma questo è un dettaglio che avrete sicuramente valutato e per scelta vi siete espressi diversamente. Continuate a riservare sorprese così piacevoli

Grazie per il commento Jestai.. Sappiamo bene che questa è una registrazione amatoriale, perchè vivendo in città diverse non abbiamo avuto tempo di provare.. i nostri "solo" video hanno più qualità. I brani non sono stati eseguiti nell'ordine in cui li vedi nel montaggio, che ha fatto un miracolo nel selezionare le parti migliori haha. Quanto alla mancanza di una batteria.. non è una scelta... non abbiamo il batterista (e a casa di Alec non ci sarebbe molto spazio LOL).

It was great playing with you at ac.guitar and Alec singing. And so fun playing two keys! It's interesting that, with the help of my left hand in the part of bass, and Alec's bongo in the part of drums, but we got a very good approximation of the Project sound, considering that the only non-acoustic instruments here are the keys! :-)

Tuning - a problem was, also, that new mounted strings tend to slightly lose the tuning: I think I applied the usual tricks to make it stable, but it appears that I wasn't very effective... oh well, we couldn't wait to play! xD

About my mistakes... well, I made a lot more, but you've been able to select the best parts! ^_^

About ac. g.'s role: I think that an ac. g. strummed like this gives also a lot of rhythm and this helps a lot in conveying the energy of the piece!
