your abs will not "come out" from this excersise you need a low percentage of body fat for abs to become visible... but one way you can get your abs to become more bulky which will make them more visible at higher percentages of BF is to do weighted rope crunches or weighted sit-ups..

Good job dean! make sure you master bent over rowing exercises and bent over dumbbell flyes to keep your plosture correct. Stretch thoroughly too!!!

I was aware of this exercise but I didn't know that you needed to hold yourself up at 90 degrees. Is this exercise as effective from a dead hang?
I guess that having your arms flexed might engage the upper abs and core more...I'll have to try it this way.
