I have a problem with my middle finger, when I use my pinky to play, my middle finger sticks up..and when I play with my pinky, I feel super weak..any tips?

Ok, so when I put my fingers on the thing by the end of it, it doesnt sound the same at all, it sounds all muffled and not like an actual note, what do I do? Am I doing something wrong or what's going on??

Question!! why you tell not to lift the other fingers when you're going backwards on excersie 1, and on this one, you are lifting the fingers. I.E. from finger 4 to 2, from 2 to 1, etc..
