Saw this group in San Antonio TX at an Accordeon (sp?) Festival. Bought one of their cd's as a result and am really enjoying their music.

Niall Vallely is a phenomenon. One-of-kind - like no other concertina player. Like Phil Cunningham on the piano box. Re learning to play like him - I don't think that is quite a reasonable expectation to put on yourself. Check out his version of Dogs Among the Bushes.

This concertina player is supremely talented--I think he lives in the States but is he originally from Ireland?

The concertina player is Niall Vallely from Armagh.

He was born and lives in Ireland, but tours Europe and America with his band.
