So I found it*s just amazing, that they learn German songs and than sing them so good and pretty.♥ Because I think German is such a great Language for singing but many people sing English, because the most people in the worl understand English.

But I think you don't have to understand all words, it*s more importent that you can feel the song and the emotion of it.

Weil ich finde Deutsch ist einfach eine schöne Sprache, besonders zum singen.

Aber die meisten singen halt nur Englisch weil das halt die meisten verstehen.

Aber es ist doch eigentlich gar nicht so wichtig alles zu verstehen, man muss das Lied nur fühlen können und die Emotionen die es rüberbringt^^

God, I couldn't place the song until it reached 1:20 and I recognized it as Sarah Brightman's Symphony. Talk about the difference language makes. I'd love an english version sung by CW too (in order to understand the lyrics), but so far I like the original better.

@FantasiaKatie, sure, they sing songs in a number of languages. This performance is marvelous and shows just how good a vocalist Chloe Agnew is. I hope she does another one in English (or French, as I my sister and I were "different" from the rest of the family and took French in high school rather than German).

Das ist eine absolut geniale Version dieses Songs. Nichts gegen Silbermond, die haben das super gesungen. Kein Thema. Aber gerade mit diesem ausländischen Akzent finde ich den Song klasse. Und die Art wie er gesungen wird, ist auch der helle Wahnsinn. Ich muss es zugeben, besser als das Orignial. Sorry an Silbermond.

Also ich finde das Deutsch EXTREM gut, ich meine ich habe alles verstanden, was sie gesungen haben... und schön ist es, dass sie alles wirklich klar betonen. Mann ey. Ich muss den beiden unteren recht geben. Für Fremdsprachige ist es verdammt schwer deutsche Wörter usw. auszusprechen. Und manchmal sogar schwer für deutsche , englische Wörter auszusprechen (siehe Lena). Ich finde das haben die als Ausländer super gemacht!!

@freakyFranky01 I listened to the "original" version. I like Chloe's better. It is *different* than the original, and fits Celtic Woman's style and feel, like so many other songs that CW has done. It is one of the best things that Chloe has done, and again, I hope that she sings this one on the tour.

@andrewefitzpatrick yes, they are very famous in germany. I really like this version^^ it amazes me that she sings it in german, she does the pronouncing very well! Sarah Brightman did the song too, but she chose to sing it in english, so i found this clip of celtic woman and thought it would be also in english, so i was really surprised that she sings it in german, its beautiful. but the song is really amazing anyway. just look for 'silbermond-symphonie' ;)
