hey just some feedback for the video-maker, using the dry-brush technique for skin, NOT a good idea, as you can see gives a dusted effect, ( you can see at clearly 1.15)
great man i notice that u dont use washes just like me exept i only do like 1 coler per each item on a ork like i dont do 2or 3 layers of skin coler and i think they look kinda bad i just dont have the paints can you give me a list of must have paints for ork skin painting also i loove ur use of the drybrush on the black prime it also works the other way around for armore painted silver or boltgun thanks!
@Ultranitsuj thanks... i have improved since then, infact was at uk gamesday 2011 with my armies on parade. several of my mini's featured on GW's What's New today a few weeks ago. I was 14 years old at the time this was made.
Aw man, i usually use washes on my orks because i have roughly 4500 points. trust me, they're easier. the only things i wouldn't use them on is my stompa and my fighta bombas. then again, washes are a hard technique to master. as soon as i get an hd camera ill put a coupla videos up.
@TeeHee117 a wash is what you would use on a model to bring out detail and get a realistic look on things such as chainmail or orcs armour and other things. There a water mix type thing that u can but in gw or hobbycraft :)
Either buy more paints or mix white with green to make a custom colour, it doesent matter if u run out because you dont want all orcs haveing the same skin colour. =D
i paint better and im 13 mine look like i bought them off the display in their shops

what you want to do is blend, not drybrush

I dont rate the new citadel washes personally . I prefer to water down the paints.
wargamesanorak 2 years ago
That doesnt work for me at all. Its to shiny, and thers lumps of paint sometimes beacause of diferent density.
koroespinacas 2 years ago
the washes are in my opinion too shiny and too thin but its all to their own.
wargamesanorak 2 years ago
how do you redo it? because i compleatley messed up my army when i painted them and i really wanna redo the painting.
hosfordryan 2 years ago
You need to clean the mold lines on the gun.
21fallvictim 2 years ago
I don't use games workshop Washes in particular... i meant to water down your paints (and maybe add a little soap too) and use them like washes.
