  • Thanks for making the review, I got distracted for a sec with all the moronic comments you recieved.. holy shit there are alot of whiney pussy crybabys out there.. you own the dog or it owns you! theres no mystic happy unicorn tree land where we live side by side with the animals in unison, lets live in the real world ok??

  • Is the dog being hurt? No. The guy must take his dog out a lot. Dog is probable nervous, owner wants to quickly show the aspects of the pack. you should see how dogs rough house each other, nothing compared to this.

  • Anyway I saw some comments from the user saying "he's tough, I doubt you could say that to his face" Your right I wouldn't say it to his face but i'm on the internet so suck a big one. \the guy in the video does not know how to treat his dog, pushing it around like a puppet. FUCK YOU!

  • Please stop pushing your dog around. How would you like it if someone kept tugging, pushing shoving you?

  • I'm glad you let your dogs get exercise and all, but I don't get why you're shoving the dog around and rough-handling him. I know it's your dog which means it's none of my business, but in every video of yours, you're pushing the poor puppy back and forth like it's a stuffed animal. Imagine if someone put a harness on you and started puling and pushing you like a doll. I doubt you'd be too happy about it.

  • the dogpack seems ok, but the boots are weird... he walks weird in them i don't think they help doggy

  • hello! GearBuyersguide hey! could you pleas tell me where can i get one of this dog backpack?

  • @juliousangelous1

they stopped making this model a while back, but they still make many styles

  • its his dog. stop being fucking panseys

  • im really glad this product review is out because i was thinking of buying dog boots and i wasnt sure if they were really out there or not

  • WOW!, why is it that all the comments on this video seem like they were posted by an uptight asshole. I could tell this guy loves his dog because hes not just keeping him inside like a fat fuck, instead he is WORKING THE DOG. So what if acts the way he acts with the dog, is he abusing the dog?! NO. I BET ALL YOU PRICKS LET YOUR DOGS DO WHAT EVER THE FUCK THEY WANT

  • =T

  • very good product, very, very good dog, but very, very, very bad owner

  • Chiwawa size ?

    iPod pocket ?

  • WOW THIS GUY IS SOO MEAN TO HIS DOG!!! He buys him a great backpack to store his water and toys in. He takes the dog on hikes in mountains, he makes sure his needs to feel like a working dog are met. He does this to make sure that he is safe and taken care of. He even exploits the dog by making a video to share his useful tools with other dog owners... WHAT AN ASSHOLE!

  • @MMAJustice

ummm he is THE OWNER animals are made domesticated to serve humans hes not tourturing it! its carying a light burden and all it knows is thats HIS JOB! Go cry about it im sure the dog dosent care...hes getting love, shelter, and food..thats all it wants you think he cares hes on youtube??

  • I have a Doberman and you seem like an idiot! Why are you always slapping your dog around? We feel sorry for him.

  • @skc3753

O feel sorry for your dog.. seems like his owner is an A-hole

  • @skc3753 some dobermans need a firm hand to keep them under control, especially if excitable and living in a potentially dangerous environment like it looks in the background. I think idiot and a-hole is a bit much, but it's true that the owner seems to be handling the dog unnecessarily roughly as the dog seems quite passive and well behaved. If the dog really recquired being pulled around it would display a more agressive, disobediant personality.

  • @skc3753 I noticed that too!

  • Awesome video man. They need to make some black and multicam dogpacks. He looks like he just wants to go to the trail.

  • @joezbackwith2gatz

    that would be cool

  • So many ignorant comments. Great video. Awesome dog. Lucky dog to have a good owner that takes him out on hikes and has fun.

Ignore the bad comments I think most of them just dont understand the big working dog breeds. Big working dogs love to wrestle and work and be pushed a bit its what makes them happy. Ive got a Rottie I take out and found the video helpful since she needs gear.

  • Did the pack come with the harness or did you have to buy them separately?

  • SO, I THINK THE ONLY """"""""STUPID AND ASSHOLE, AND IGNORANT"""""""""" IS YOU anjunafae... really ignorant about how to guide a dog with a simply backpack

  • I WILL COPY THE """PRIVATE MESSAGE"""""" FROM anjunafae:

anjunafae ha respondido a tu comentario sobre Dog Backpack:

    @themarianoaugusto youre stupid

Puedes responder desde la página de comentarios.

SO IF I OR ANOTHER PERSON THINK THAT THIS DOG IS FORCED TO WALK WITH THE BACKPAK,,, IS """""""""""STUPID""""""""""".

  • i love how backpacks boost a dogs self esteem. and this guy knows how to treat his dog, so everyone whining about how he's "pushing" his dog needs to stfu and stick to their hamsters

  • as you can see this is not the best dog for this person. Great vid tho

  • @WeSSENT457 okay, so, Im not hatin or nothin. Im sure nyou love your furry little friend much. Dont let the media push you to beliefs. Many give this breed up before fixing problems. One Love

  • @themarianoaugusto

yea, dog whisperer.. you know all about how me and my dog are now that you watched this video, thanks for the life coaching

  • @themarianoaugusto youre stupid

  • @themarianoaugusto it's a fucking doberman, you don't push it, it becomes aggressive, u people are a bunch of lazy cunts.

  • @themarianoaugusto

some people are a bit mor ruff and some people are a bit mor gentel... he is not slaping or hiting his do, he´s just being a bit ruff

  • Svara på det här videoklippet... some peopol are a bit mor ruff and some a bit moor gentel .he´s not hiting his dog he´s being a bit ruff

  • Thanx for video. Love that boots looks cool lol

  • Thank you for doing a review on this product I have been looking around for a good pack, for some time now. This one looks pretty good I like the water reservoirs, and is the side pockets made out of neoprene?

  • get him a Go-Pro! haha!

  • whats your dogs name?

  • whats his name?

  • one of his boot came off

  • *dog

  • i think people need to shut the fuck up about the man pulling his dog, like honestly shut the fuck up he aint killing the animal or back slapping him. Hes just simply trying to put that bad ass back pack on his which i want to put on my doberman.

  • those little boots are sooo cute. some people need to calm down with the "pushing" comments. your not even pushing him so hard. you can tell that he is well loved. i mean..who else would think to buy their dog their own little boots so they dont hurt their poor little paws. great video

  • That is a beloved dog you got there. He has his own backpack and his own boots. Obviously the dog is distracted because is wishing for go to take that walk, it can be seen in his eyes, like "c'mon daddy stop the babbling and let's have some fun!" that's why is so distracted. Those pushes and pullings are nothing for this kind of dog, and no owner who gets this kind of nice stuffs for his pet could be mistreaten it. It's a beautiful dog, I wish for mine to grow up faster!.

  • @ReySol9999

thanks, but enjoy the time ypu have with the puppy, they grow up very fast (take lots of pictures!!)

  • naaaw this is really cute check out my dog barney hes a little jack russel who also loves his back packing :) x

  • why is everyone posting coments like " why are you push him like that", what????!!!

the dog looks happy and is so fu***** easy to see that is very loved by is owner..!

I fight with mine very hard to the point one of us get injured and start to bleed, and I can tell you that he dies for it..! Is just a Boxer but a gigant one with 86 ponds of muscle and I know that he let me win most times I know but anyway this are not your Chihuahuas, Your dog looks very happy healthy and well treated!!!

  • Can You treat the dog less sharp? thanks

  • some nice dog

  • @councilhater2009 you may wanna be careful hoo you speak to like that, you may end up lookin like a fool, fool.

  • can i ask why u push hm around so much? exactly what does it show the dog?

  • @versatilechicken

which way I want him to be pointed

  • @versatilechicken it shows the dog man is boss

  • great video mate, keep it up!!!!!! AWESOME DOBIE THO.....

  • To ppl who think this is cruel! What's really cruel is keeping a dog that has as much energy as a Doberman in a house all day long! That's like not letting a kid with a lot of energy do sport with all his friends! Dogs dont enjoy being coop up all day infront of a tv their built to work, and even the smallest of dogs enjoy gettin out for a nice strool atleast!

  • beautiful doberman!!!!!

  • nice looking doberman

  • GREAT VID!! just bought my dog packback, cant wait to go hiking. do you let him run around or you keep him with a leash? i only say that because i dont want to use a leash, but other people mite get scared

  • lol that dog looked happy and ready to go out hiking for the day im always amazed by people that put up bad comments on a video like this i mean that looks like one of the happiest dogs on the net and people are still trolling .. good video man and take care of that dog

  • @SanSuMartialArts

thanks for the support.. I'll pat him on the head right now !!

  • @marlin187 what is a camel bag?

  • @ElmerDudd1

I dare you to say that to his face.. really come say that to his face tough guy .. I'll stand way over there

  • @ElmerDudd1 That dog would destroy you.

  • @ElmerDudd1 No you are

  • @ElmerDudd1 Its called having a well trained dog instead of just getting a dog to prove how big of a dick you have

  • For all you people who think this is dog abuse its not he's just tryin to show who's boss because i do this to my dog and guess what my dog is train now my dog dont need no leash and i dont have to spank his but because he A+ TRAIN DOG

  • Do you really need to push your dog around so much ? :l

  • @Wtflolyay

    yes

  • @Wtflolyay Dobies are tough dogs with very muscular, hearty bodies. It doesn't hurt them when you push them around a bit, and they need a strong owner to keep them in line. I'm not advocating animal abuse, but this dog is not being abused. And the reason he's whining, I'm guessing because my Dobie does the same thing, is because he's impatient and wants to go on that hike! :o)

  • I like your videos and ideas; I like to go out in the woods with my dogs too, but honestly your dobe doesn't obey you like most dobes obey their owners, my grandfather bred doberman pinschers with half European lines. They're some of the strongest mentally and physically as they come, bred to be a bodyguard yet watch over children but don't discipline with strikes, use your voice and positive training man. I saw that definate flinch when you tried to put the harness on.

  • @buddhabassist

My dog and I have fun, this was not a how to "train a dog video" ..

You train your dog to obey orders like a nazi trooper.. my dog is doing just fine as he is

Perhaps you'd like to comment on the air pressure in the tires too, or are you not an auto mechanic too

  • @buddhabassist A dog just doesn't LISTEN, you dont JUST USE YOUR VOICE!! You got to earn a dog's respect before it will truely listen! Using a bunchs of treat and bribing it all the time is not a well trained dog! Treats can be used as a reward but they shouldn't be used as a bribe either. Dobermans need firm handling they are a tough breed of dog! I've spank mine when he got outta of line and he's now an extremely gentle and well behaved dog, and he listen, yet he's confident!

  • what state is that in

  • poor dog. you need to stop being such a republican fuck

  • @flythebirdguitarer

LOL what an odd comment.. go back on your meds before you hurt someone

  • @GearBuyersGuide haha k thanks

  • lol i thaught the title was dog backflip:(

  • @andregerbaulet

LOl, we will start working on that trick !!

  • definitely want to get one for my dobie. Your boy is beautiful!!!!!

  • @ElCCers

thanks, I'll pat him on the head for you !!

  • try putting your first aid in the dog pack its a lot easier to say come here spike with a broken leg then to crawl to your pack which you took off at your first destination

  • Would you imagine that your dog is able to further and more comfortably with those dog boots, i.e. daily trail runs of 5+ miles? I like the body harness over the choker too, as Dobes are genetically more highly prone to neck problems, which can be exasperated by their higher prey drive.

  • Great review! Thanks.

  • no camelbag?

  • @marlin187

there are bags of water in each side, but not a tube like the new models

  • you never know where the dogs gonna go... hes weird lmao

  • Do those mylar pouches come with the pack? Or did you buy those yourself.

  • @Jussterr

Those were part of the package, came with the pack

  • I think I'm going to grab a Ruff Wear Approach pack for my dog. I live in the UK and we're not so hot on buying shoes/attire for our dogs so there aren't any stockists here. I've been searching like mad for reviews and your video has been really helpful so thank you!

Now I just gotta wait for my puppy to grow up before I get him one.

  • @Jussterr

I made a set for my dog using old military surplus pouches to see if he would like it, you might try making one ofr your pup to get him started

    Good luck

  • Great pack.......I have been looking into that pack for sometime now, and I think I'm going to purchase one for my Dobe.

  • Would that pack fit my 150lb Dane? I am looking to get him one for hikes.

  • I think it would

  • he could wear a regular backpack and carry all of your gear, you could probably saddle and ride him

  • where may I have this backpack?

  • We bought it at a place called Summit Hut in Tucson, AZ.. I'm sure many stores carry them though

  • where can I have this backpack?

  • what would you put in there? just stuff you dont have enough room for in your own pack or stuff for your dog?

  • The dogs carry their own supplies.. so they carry their food , some water, a soft sided bowl, their boots, a few toys and this one carries a muzzle

  • I travelled the entire Bruce Trail (850km) in summer of 2009. My Siberian Husky Luka travelled with me using a Ruff-Wear Palisades pack. It was a great pack and apart from constantly being lopsided was a superb pack and I'd recommend it to anyone.

  • @wolfmaan were you living in driggs idaho a few years ago workin for the water shed project ?

  • More dog review gear when you have time, you have covered allot of other gear but wondering what else is out there for hiking pets.

  • thanks for the feedback, we'll keep your request in mind

  • ROFL! If I were the dog I'd have bitten you, being impatient about the tugging and pushing getting that pack on. :) hehe. Packing with your dog. Start with 5 pounds, then go with 5 pounds per week until you hit 20% of your dogs weight, which is the max they should carry for any distance. He'll do great packing. Dobe's are great dogs! Our mix breed carried a pack whenever we went out, so I know about excited about the pack! Loved it!

  • thanks for the info about the weight over time.. I wish I would have included that in the video

  • Your Dobie is high-stylin with his own gear. That a boy!

  • LOL, he does seem to stand a little more straight with his pack on.. I think he realizes more heads turn his way when it's on

  • Thats a very cool looking dog!

  • Thanks he is just as nice and fun to be around as he is cool looking IMO

  • you mentioned a smaller dog. Is it also a Doberman? I have a cocker spaniel I take out. He weighs 32 lbs. Little chub... supposed to be 25. But he makes it. I will keep his pack light, very light. but I wanted to know how your smaller dog does with the pack etc.

  • good question.. the dobe is about 90 pounds, the 'smaller' dog is a Rottweiler / Shepherd mix and is about 60 pounds

So they can both wear this same pack

They do make them in smaller sizes though, this one is the large size I think

  • look like a nice European line.

  • Yup, his dad is a German Champ from 2002 (if I remember correctly) he deffinaty has his fathers build (not like a skinny US dobie)

  • nice pack and good review - doggy is just eager to get hiking!

  • yea they know what the packs mean, the cameras .. not so much

  • Dobermann (German / European) line and Doberman Pinscher (American) are COMPLETELY different breed to me. Not only bone structure but quality and temperament as well since ALL European stock come from SUPER strict breeding program to preserve the best.

  • Is the doberman good with kids?

Did you have him as a pup and trained him ?

  • I have friends with kids ranging from babys to 5 and he is great with them.. he thinks they are tiny people invented for him to play with

He's been around kids quite a bit, but not full time, but he knows to be gentile with the little ones

I took him home from the kennel as soon as I got the call that I could take him.. He's been within about an arms length away from for me most of the time since then

  • Good looking dog, good review, nice job.

  • thanks, I think he liked it.. as I was editing this video he came over and watched
