@inflambulent Don't think MB is well-educated? Why? Because you don't like her or her worldview? I think Obama is one of the worst presidents we have ever had - maybe the worst - but have no problem acknowledging that he is bright and (technically) well-educated. The fact is that MB has two advanced degrees (PhDs) How many do you have, inflambulent. Typical drone; ever going for the cheap shot.
Go MB! Thanks for posting this Eric. The rally was awesome...would that evey God-fearing person in America could see and hear what we experienced -- unfiltered by the media.
@Synth3t1cs Corruption is a tremendous problem in today's political climate, no doubt. (Jack Abramoff's interview with 60 Minutes was very sobering.) But it is cynically naive to say that all politicians are corrupt. One of the reasons we love MB is that she is the real deal, someone who is in politics because of sheer principle and a desire to serve. With all the effort and money the left has spent trying to get her out of office - not one hint of a charge of corruption.
The bible claims that all human beings are inherently wicked. Hence the need for a saviour.
"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked."
Therefore since all people are wicked and corrupt, then all politicians are also wicked and corrupt. It takes a certain kind of person to want to be a politician. As they say the "waste" always rises to the top.
And just for the record, Mr Smith Goes to Washington was just a movie
@Synth3t1cs Love it when you quote scripture. Keep it up. But your logic is the same as saying that because we're all sinners (and we are), no one can judge another man's sin -- which would mean that courts, laws, even rationality would have to be tossed out. The point is that we're not to judge hypocritically. And not all people are equally corrupt and wicked - and obviously we should want the more honorable among us to be our rulers. And again, there are a few of them running and in DC.
"Maybe one of the best educated people to ever run for the office of the President." This is why the religious are an ever-decreasing group of nuts.
