  • Culberson ran from the answer like a good little republican..try to get any politician to give a simple YES or NO to a question... its easier to pull all the teeth out of a pitbull

  • Lawrence O'Donnell needs to be a Democratic spokesmen. At congress. TO beatdown all the Tea Party assholes when they spew their lies!

  • The funny thing is that Lawrence O'Donnell wouldn't dare call Otto von Bismarck a socialist. Bismarck would be a "right-wing" in MSNBC terminology. Hell, he supported a king. But SS under Bismarck was just for old people who couldn't work. Plus, they set the retirement age at 65 when the life expectancy was 45. If we really wanted to follow Bismarck's system, we'd set the SS age at 93.

  • lawrence odonnell thinks hes so smart and being so clever. hes making himself look so dumb. I cant believe this man has in own tv show. MSNBC is the biggest scam ever

  • Lawrence O'Donnell is a dick. Let the guy answer the question. MSNBC is all about the gotcha moment.

  • O'Donnell is great. He's one of the few who demands a real answer to his questions.

  • I'm surprised that Lawrence doesnt open each show with an apology to his audience for (a) being a male, (b) being Caucasian and (c) having a job that he cant give to an illegal alien.

  • Lawrence o'Donnell is neither and idiot or a fucking moron. He's just straight up crazy.

  • I wouldn't have voted for Social Security or Medicare. They're both unconstitutional.

  • Wow. I've never heard of O'Donnnel and now I know why. He is a hate filled idiot that doesn't allow anyone else to speak.

  • @ThePoliticalGuide To take a stand is to be a hate filled idiot?

  • O'Donnell was disrespectful, but unfortunately, no more than some other "fair and balanced" journalists. I hate to see it from either side. My thought is that Medicare care and SS ARE socialistic leaning programs the govt should have avoided. But we're in so deep that we can't afford to get out without a huge economic impact, so I would oppose a reapeal of either.

  • @MCDTexas How convenient of you to endorse medicare and Social security. Now that they're available to you. And also, I don't understand how they would impose a huge economic impact if eliminated? Because the fact of the matter is that both are paid for by you and your employer. They are not hand outs.

  • @Tdgonline You misunderstand. I don't endorse it and I'd favor dropping it all right now if it wouldn't cause a national crisis, which would come because of folks who'd go into poverty because they failed to prepare financially for the future. They are indeed handouts to those who get it but didn't pay into it like me and my employer have been. For me, it's a drain of my hard-earned money that I might not see as a benefit when I retire in 25 or so years.

  • @MCDTexas Well, I can understand being drained of hard earned money. But still question how anyone can collect on social security without having earned it? Unless you're a widow, where the other partner can collect if the other has earned it while living, I believe.

  • @Tdgonline You are correct in large part. The abuse I've observed (even with some relatives, I'm sorry to say) is the collection through a disability. Somehow, people can collect for a disability even if they aren't disabled from performing a variety of other jobs. I feel for the truly disabled, but some like my relatives could easily move on but instead take the easy route. I suspect that problem is rampant, and you and I pay for it.

  • Now they know what it's like to be on O'Reilly

  • The republicans whole premise to vote against the health care bill was that it was run the the government. Lawrence is simply asking the question if we would have voted for other health care initiatives that were run by the government and Culberson never gave an answer thus Lawrence kept asking again and again. Ha do you realize why nobody votes for republicans, come on culberson your so brainwashed you can't answer a question.

  • O'Donnell went about it all wrong but kudos for underscoring the biggest hypocrisy about this whole "debate": people with federal health insurance (members of Congress, Medicare recipients) ranting about the evils of federal health insurance. Fish or cut bait, libertarian wannabes.

  • MSNBC's clearly try to intimidate and bully people on its shows. I don't watch MSNBC and would tell "O'Donnell the Prick" to shove it where the sun don't shine. Bascially, if they don't give the answer MSNBC wants, then they try to bully a person down. Who needs their comments!

  • Journalism at its worst. Let the guy talk you fucking psycho

  • And somehow this guy cant find one hard question for the Obama Admin. Thats because this guys Boss works for the Obama Admin....Toadie

  • Keep it up Lawrence! They shut us up for 8 years, now it's time for them to taste their own medicine.

  • ponyboy is 100% right. The idiots are the people who continue to watch Republicans push against the the very kinds of progressive reforms that they are too cowardly to reject now that they have been shown to effective and popular. These are the same kinds of lying, greedy, assholes that fought against medicare. It is painful to watch the knuckle-dragging citizens of this country try to help these snake oil salesmen screw us all one more time.

  • Constitution first. End of fucking story. Arrest all politicians who do not obey it. Bush, Obama, and the list is really long, sooner we get started, the better everything will be. Empty the prisons and jails of all drug-offenders, and fill them up with the well-fed, well-dressed politicians.

  • What a sad interview.

  • lawrence odonnell is a fucking moron , they have there head so far up obama's ass that it's just sad , even liberals don't watch msnbc

  • @cocobear33

"there head"? You and the other seven morons who gave you thumbs up should perhaps learn English before you try to debate politics.

  • It's really a no-win for the Congressmen, as the "host" can take a single word answer, cut the interview, and bash them after the commercial break. The MSM is almost as bad as government itself.

  • O'Donnell is an absolute waste of skin. He tried to corner Peter Schiff, too, but that backfired as Schiff made him look like the moron, handing him his proverbial hat. That said, I begrudgingly admit to seeing his point about so-called conservatives being too frightened to whisper a word in opposition of Medicare or Social Security. Of course, if they did, tools like O'Donnell would run with it, confuse the issue and smear them as much as possible.

  • @Cellulartrace

    Shut up.

  • odonnells a idiot

  • @muffman11111

and you don't even know what an apostrophe is, genius. go soak your head.

  • O'Donnell destroyed this fat right wing windbag.

  • @MrFarcry1966 That's why I am fan of Lawrence. He doesn't take any bullshit from anyone and I agree with him on most issues. He doesn't hold back and I respect pundits on TV who are passionate about what they believe in. They want to make a difference in the world more than these right wing blowhards who say America has THE GREATEST Healthcare system in the world, Newsflash: WE DON"T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RealTime88 your an idiot. subhuman maybe

  • @MrFarcry1966 Glad someone besides me realizes that. The other conservative sheep do not.

  • @MrFarcry1966

I'm an independent but you've got to be kidding me. O'Donnell IS the windbag in this video
