The poetry in this one song of all of Aimee Mann's great works, just gets to me. It's so rich and beautiful that you feel weak and hopeless without even experiencing any weakness or hopelessness when you hear it. And the tune and music behind the lyrics is so emotional, that this one song, to me, stands out in this album, despite the album itself being some top-notch lyrical storytelling. Hats off, Aimee. Done right.
