Silja Symphony is otherwise a great ship (much better than some Viking Line) but the lower decks really suck...you have really difficult to find the stairs there (especially if you are drunk :D) and its not that pretty there and it smells like crap.
Apparently on Symphony the crew is mostly swedish, and on Serenade they are finnish. But that´s no problem for me, I speak both languages :D

I remember hen this was silja , everyone working there could speak , finnish , swedish and english and maybe another language.
The last time I went when it was tallink , the majority could only speak estonian :(

At least ships from Helsinki are both going to Värtän. Don't know about the ones leaving from Turku

Just got back home from a trip to Finland and back with M/S Silja Symphony
was great, expect you had to find the right elevator/stair to get to the right deck (I had my cabin on 2nd deck)
