  • LDR for 10 Minutes is okay? It’s Sport for 10 Minutes?

So, when I violate a woman for 10 minutes it’s sport to?

    -Philippe Karl

  • Is that Anky? Cruelty at its best!

  • love the way these horses are been riden.short rein and foam flying out of the mouths.the women in the middle who has HER mount sweated up and has its mouth twisted by the bit looks so sexy

  • @bighands1966 Tell me you're being sarcastic.

  • Anti Rollkur!

  • omg die arme paarden

  • these horse are trained to carry and hold their necks like this

  • Man, this isn't needed at all. You want a horse with proper headset? Then get some training on him/her and not go for the painful, quick-fix, answer.

  • Some of these horses looks to be extremely uncomfortable :(! I can see the need for rollkur in many situations, but these people have just taken it WAY too far.

However, the picture comparing it to a person is irrelevant. You can not compare a horse to a human, since they walk on four legs and we on two. Our bodies are very different.

  • @Synna89 Acutally, you can. The legs don't matter at all. And our bodies aren't that different. Theirs are more delecate than ours

  • @Synna89 what situations is something that can cause long term problems, short term breathing difficulty do you think rollkur is 'needed'?

Rollkur is a hideous technique, it's a short cut to an answer that will only cause the horse short and/or long term pain.

  • @flower020894 I just don't like to judge the way people ride. Using rollkur often, is definitly bad for the horse, and is something I am totally against. But since I'm no expert on rollkur, I don't like to say completely no to EVER using it, those who use it probably have their reasons. I'm not saying that it can't be damaging, I just say I don't know enough about it to judge them. And neither do probably you. And YOU, just like everybody else, probably do errors when you ride, damaging even.

  • @Synna89 Perhaps before assuming things you could ask. I am in fact doing further education studying equine and had 2 lectures devoted to rollkur only this week.

Rollkur can in the long term cause stiffness, back problems etc, rollkur is so extreme that horses who are worked in it a lot will in fact grow an extra vertebrae. In the short term rollkur causes the horse to have difficulty breathing and can also result in them becoming extremely mentally stressed.

  • @Synna89 Forgot to add....with regards to my riding, I am not entirely sure why this has been brought up but anyway, of course I do not claim to be a tip top rider, 7 years of riding hardly qualifies that. However I am yet to cause a horse to have a hard mouth, any form of vices or back problems. The only change I have made to a horse's behaviour and well being was to my loan mare who I reschooled...I like to think that was a benefit to her as opposed to some form of damage.

  • @flower020894 Studying something doesn't nescessairly make you an expert at it..

Why you're talking about longterm damage, I don't even know, cause I myself said I was strictly AGAINST using it longterm.. When it comes to shortterm: It is of course negative that they can't breathe. But if some professional teacher say that "using this for 2 minutes can give this and this benefit" - then it may be worth it. I don't know if there are benefits, but I don't judge.

  • @flower020894 About your riding: Do you ride bitless and without a saddle? Cause some people say those things are harmfull too. There are tons of things that different people say is harmfull.

Some say it's harmfull to NOT have the horse walk on the bit, some say it's harmfull if it IS walking on the bit.

You see my point? We shouldn't judge, cause everybody have different opinions and ways of riding.

  • If I was a horse... I would say "Stop, I can't even breathe with my neck like this!"

  • @DrowningOrchid

the thing is, you probably couldnt even talk... I find it sickening to even watch

  • @DrowningOrchid They do... in bucks and "misbehaving"

  • what are the good pointd about rollkur? (i know there aren't many but there must be a reason why people do it) - i don't really understand the whole "deep stretching" principle. can someone explain?

  • @gabbybella123

Well, rollkur is a shortcut to getting the horse to work down and round...many elite riders train their horses with this to win over the judges with a horse that immediately falls into a deep outline due to normally being forced...it is banned by the FEI so cannot be shown in an arena etc, but how does one know if they have used it in training? And unfortunately a lot of elite riders get good consistent scores as a result of rollkur.

  • that is not good for the horses neck.

  • @miraclesmom oh realy??

  • @xXDixieBarrelRacerXx really its used at a training aid while on the ground not while on the horses back. it makes it hard for the horse to breath as well as cause neck and back problems

  • FYYY FAAN!!! 0:49 !!!
