What are they doing now? Remember Eurovision was highlight of black and white tv year. Was allowed to stay up late to watch! Great song - great harmonies. Doesn't the smaller one on left look uncomfortable!
@eurocharter Well I have just posted this for you, as this is my first posting I am not sure if it will be accepted or not, but keep an eye out for it.
Still so wonderful. Have always loved this and always will. Those wonderful harmonies always stand out among the rest and put the Beatles in the shade for me.
@madmax8903 I thought the EXACT thing - "British Everly Brothers". (There was also a Dutch brother duo called "the Blue Diamonds" who even covered Everly songs.)
Lovely song, very catchy and charming, and excellently performed. I love it, and personally think it deserved to win more than Luxembourg that year. Beautiful.
@setheurovision94 I prefered Luxembourg winning that year, in fact Jean Claude Pascal got points from nearly every country participating, and UK came 2nd only because Luxembourg gave UK 8!!! out of their 10 total points. And that's what this game is about.
Not bad, but absolutely nothing compared to the Everly Brothers.

The first single my dad ever bought. I was doomed to be a Eurovision fan from the start. Love it!

We rarely won it, bloody foreigners lol

@DoctorScrumpy Hate to contradict, but we did win it five times. Only Ireland have done it more.
Only problem is, the last time was 1997. And let's face it, we haven't done much since...

We got our first record player in 1961 & we bought so many singles that year. This was one of them.
My brother (11) & me (8) put on a show to my parents & neighbours & did this one ~ harmonies & all !
Great memories. Supposedly Britain's answer to The Everley Bros.

What a lovely song and the lads, sleek! I was born in 1961. Eurovision had great entries then, unlike nowadays, which are not very European!!!

Nice song....but the brothers do not compare to Don & Phil Everly.

The best song from the UK to enter the competition, well, probably ever. Kind of a British Everley Brothers.
