fantastic in studio 1982 (EMI) - here at the beginning (talk talk talk talk) really sleepy, second song is better, but really sad - gonna listen to my cd now - much more powerful - but: thanx for posting...reminds me of sweet 17 party times with my then best friend Christine from near Stuttgart
When i was young and the big saturday night out was over and i had driven home all my drunken friends. It was just me then and i was going home very alone (parents house) it was always Mark's music which i turned to for support and blasted through the car stereo, he was like an old friend really.
Talk Talk are the best 80s band they stay with me and I share their music with my kids,I have the best of CD and Ieave it on repeat in my workshop, just love it thx
.... Don't think there will be many bands that get anywhere near them talent wise. Lee Harris lived in my cul de sac so It made me feel even more proud of what they achieved. Seeing them live in Southend was a particular highlight as it was the same as this recording put up by whoever . I know Lee and Paul dabbled in a band called hegioland or something like that Mark has disappeared. Glad there still some die hards about still which "christschool" you obviously are. Keep playing the talk tal
While I'm a huge Mark Hollis/Talk Talk fan, I think it was wrong that you uploaded Eagle Vision's entire DVD of this. You robbed Mark and the band of any residuals. If you appreciate Mark and Talk Talk, keep your download small and refer the viewer to the DVD link. Even though I can watch the whole thing on your channel, I bought the DVD as appreciation for the music Mark and Talk Talk gave us.
@GLasscL Unfortunately, avoiding everyone. Perhaps he wants to be remember for who he was then than for who he is now? Perhaps he's just tired of living up to his own talent? Either way, Mark and Talk Talk never got their due as perhaps the best band to come out of the 80's. I loved them when no one knew who they were, forgot about them when they became popular, and then rediscovered them again when radio forgot. Mark's best work was in the later years and as a solo artist, imho.
A friend downloaded the audio tracks for me and because I work from home I've been listening every day for the last month from morning to night, I never get tired of playing it, It's so good I just love it!!!

Please dunot get me wrong, TT is a huge influence for me since i was a child, but in my opinion this concert is incredible except for the truck driver like, with the mullet in the guitar.
I think he screw everithing up, he plays really cheasy and i dont know how he dare to apear in public with this great and fine band with a such ordinary haircut... Anyway tnx 4 da upload,,,peace
I must say... we have a custom here in Brazil... when we see something like this we say: "Wow! You betrayed the 'mullets movemet', dude!". Very funny...
@parachuteclubbed i have had the dvd now for a month and i contiue to be mesmerized by it. I toatlly agree with your comment, that is one of the finest moments on the dvd
,,very good song and great live concert!! he has a very nice voice ...he's a pleasure to hear at him also speak ...I loved them when I was younger ..he has got a very hard serious tone of voice .he appears often ungry but he ...wAs only A very very sensual man with his fascination look ,,long hairs ..ecc ecc Keep out your dressing ..GREEEEAAT mark we miss you !
some people don,t have the patient to listen to an whole concert or at least some more songs and then form an opinion, the first one is less known of talk talk but they,re great, good life band good music ;-)
any one that cussed this.... needs a rewind in music. in the 80's we all got told we were shit.... these people are playing proper music... real drummers. bassist, etc.... fuck you all
Vaya sorpresa. Es un placer ver a uno de los grupos más finos y talentosos de los ochenta. Aún se les debe mayor tributo. Mark Hollis es una especie de genio atemporal. En México sólo son conocidos por It´s my life. Gracias por este video.
