Eh... Idiots will be idiots. I don't see whats wrong with editing a model as long as you give credit for the original maker. I mean, its like using a base, as long as you give credit, it shouldn't matter.

@mikuhatsunemmd I wouldn't worry about it, because if you do something too drastic, it could start it up again. It's pretty much over. There's us and then there's those who enforce the rules. We all get along now, no one really makes comments on illegal edits. It's been over a year. The biggest thing we did was make the MMDisSupposedToBeFun group on dA. After that, it pretty much died out, at least for me. I haven't seen any of this drama at all.
Why didn't just the Model creator kind of markes their model like we do to a picture or something, that way everyone would have known thet they aure made by them...
@Kapocalips That's what I don't get. It's kind of obvious as to who made the model. You can tell by the eyes that it's a Nanami model. So it's not like that person can claim it as their own without looking stupid, because everyone else is like, "...No, it's a Nanami model." If you make them from scratch and they all have the basic style, that is just like marking a model.

I don't even ask for credit on my models anymore, because people know me well enough. And I mean, the person who got my models has to know it's me anyway, since I'm the only one who distributes my models.

I don't care if this was like posted over a year ago, but like, why does Nanami have to make a big deal about editing and re-distributing? I would feel somewhat pleased to see that people are making new models and OC's with my models. She should just like put on the note thing with the model, to just give credit. Some people are redistributing them without even knowing it. I somehow got a hold of Nanami models and I have no idea where from. I don't use them, because if you ever use them, people that are OBVIOUSLY NOT her will be all over your case about where you got them from. The thing is that if she put them back up for download, more people would have them and be downloading them, and if not, people will download them anyway. It's pretty obvious if the model is Nanami or not. Really no way around it.

I love this video, I love that your being honest and telling everyone out there what their doing is wrong. I just got into mmd about a month ago and saw the videos of the nanami and anomaro models (I hope I spelled it write) People where putting download links out and I was confused because the disturbers took the links down. I decided not to download them (no mater how much I want them!), but I think it is really unfair that people are bullied this way.
It's a shame people act like this. I mean, seriously, it's a program created for fun and the love of Vocaloids, so why get all worked up about some stupid models? Even if they are good, there are plenty of other folks who do great with making models.

Some people are redistributing them without even knowing it. I somehow got a hold of Nanami models and I have no idea where from. I don't use them, because if you ever use them, people that are OBVIOUSLY NOT her will be all over your case about where you got them from. The thing is that if she put them back up for download, more people would have them and be downloading them, and if not, people will download them anyway. It's pretty obvious if the model is Nanami or not. Really no way around it.

I love this video, I love that your being honest and telling everyone out there what their doing is wrong. I just got into mmd about a month ago and saw the videos of the nanami and anomaro models (I hope I spelled it write) People where putting download links out and I was confused because the disturbers took the links down. I decided not to download them (no mater how much I want them!), but I think it is really unfair that people are bullied this way.
