United (Continental Airlines) - Landing Newark Liberty Airport Boeing 757-200 Winglets

Gaaf man; ik zit op deze vlucht in juni 2012. Begreep op het reisbureau dat de fusie van Continental met United zo goed als afgerond is. Bij ons zal er ook Economyplus aan boord zijn. Ben benieuwd. Hoe lang duurde de paspoort controle op Newark??

@rilein Ik vind de beenruimte prima bij continental. De stoelen zijn vrij nieuw. De nieuwe stoelen hebben vaak een andere vorm waardoor het meer beenruimte creëert en je eigenlijk meer beenruimte hebt. Fijne vlucht!

As soon as United Airlines takes delivery of enough new Boeing 787 'Dreamliners', the airline should start taking Boeing 757s off trans-Atlantic routes and replace them with 787s and then redeploy the 757s onto domestic U.S. routes. The 787 is designed for long-haul routes such as New York/Newark-Amsterdam; the 757, however, is not.

interesting i always regarded amsterdamn to be a major destination and they fly a 757 while Cont/United flies a 777 to brussels? should be the other way around. goes to show Boeing's Winglet Technology is awesome!

@oneofthemdeals I'm not sure about it, but i do know that Continental flies twice a day to Newark and one time to Houston (B764). Amsterdam is a hub to Delta
