  • I saw him in the London palladium in 2002 with his sons, they'd formed a band appropriately called...the vees. it was part of the solid gold american rock and roll tour.

  • Forget Suspicion - this is Bobby Vee singing as he should.!

  • I liked the book...

  • best version x

  • It really does have a thousand eyes....

  • I used to sing this when I was like 6-7 years old. I'm now 21 and still LOVE this music.

  • Bobby Vee is the perfect illustration of the difference between now and a half-century ago: sure, he was the Justin Bieber of his era, cutesy little sixteen-yr-old, but... Bob could SING!!! Go now in the Name of the Lord...and preach this message unto all lands.

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • I'm 21 & I was brought up listening to his music, along with Bobby Darin, Connie Francis...among others...I will forever love this genre of music <3

  • This was the very first rock'n'roll record I ever purchased! Thanks for sharing!

  • its a pity the sound quality is not t good as his voice is the man's an icon of the 50's n 60's take a bow son.,.

  • This IS real music! Good time-heart throb lovin tunes!

  • This is what i call Real music. I am 13 this year but i love the oldies ranging from 60s to 90s! :)

  • @TheMagicOfDean thats is because you identify with them :)

  • He is adorable. :)

  • Enough with the negative comments. (daveb971) and the others need to get a life. If you don't like good music, then don't listen and don't post.

  • One of my favorite artists of the 60's;they sure don't make good music like this anymore

  • @daveb971 if youve got nothing better to do then make stupid crass posts like this then go play on a freeway.

if you dont like 60s music then fine, dont comment just dry up and get lost.

  • bet he gives great head

  • Fantastic! Brings it ALL back. Thanks a million times!

  • Bobby Vee tried to get pregnant with Tab Hunters baby in the sixties.

  • @BlankfrackCripledFUK you're an idiot.

  • 2:21 video: "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes" by Benjamin Weisman, Dorothy Wayne, and Marilynn Garrett; 1963 #3 hit by Bobby Vee (born April 30, 1943).

  • I loved the sixties, the cool hair, the clothes, thesongs! The songs, you could sing to .Ah,sweet memories!

  • I was'nt even born in the 60's and still I think this is an awesome song

What a great uplifting song it is

  • You got to love the great vocals. Most all of the stars of this time could really sing. Once again, these are the songs my Mom taught me to dance to....

  • showing my 14 year old daughter the music I listened to because it was in my parent's collection!!!

  • What a great voice! I love this song-thanks for posting it! Bobby's a legend. :)

  • This is probably my favorite Bobby Vee song. It reminds of of a time long ago when I was young. Bobby was/is a talented singer and performer and had many hits. He fit into that period when Elvis went into the Army and the Beatles were yet to arrive, and even when the Beatles arrived, Bobby still had hits and survived on, to record songs such as "Red Rubber Ball".

  • Rick Sprinfield thought he had the sexiest lips. It looks like Bobby had him beat. He was pretty hot when he was young. I had almost forgotten about this song. My Mom and Dad always played music like this when I was little. I learned to appreciate it and truly wish that songs of today were a lot less vulgar. This is a song you could have a lot of fun dancing to. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  • @sancho3124 No fooling I listen to him when I do chores. He really helps to pass the time when you're doing something you don't want to do.

  • Brings back memories, when I was a teenager.

  • brylcream anyone? haha

  • This is amazing!!!.......just dived onto play.com to order the cd and now need to know when he is touring the UK!!

  • nancy sinatra

  • This is for you little twin sis Judy

  • This song is for my best friend (little twin sister) Judy - remember this sis.

  • just real feel-good music, always loved Bobby Vee's voice

  • A really super song

  • I wish more people my age listened to this genre of music. Kids these days listen to rap and r&b. Which only talks about sex, drugs, and killing people. Oldies music is beautiful and innocent. This is a great song and Bobby Vee's vioce is phenomenal.

  • @TheSammyKaye I see your point, but I believe that it is only the mainstream music that talks about those things. I'm a teenager, and I love the oldies. I enjoy modern music as well, including Hip-Hop and R&B, but I feel that most of it (Hip-Hop) has taken a downturn for the worst in recent years, because it has been made into a corporate playground. Nonetheless, all of it isn't bad; you just have to know where to look. Lastly, a lot of pop sucks today as well, so I feel it's just the result of

  • @BlindFocus1 cultural decadence, more so than it is the genre of music. Yeah, pop culture in 1963 wasn't as crass and vulgar as it is today, but there were many music acts that weren't worth much time, just as today.

  • Great oldie!

  • Loved you then, Love you now Bobby...Thanks for sharing the video nyrainbow2..

  • But it's not recorded on a beach? -:)

  • so cute, love his little gestures. Awesome song.

  • Virgil Tracy from Thunderbirds!

  • Ahh..the velvet voice of Bobby Vee. What a snappy, awesome song. Luv it. Also he was so handsome...

  • Memories from so long ago.

  • What a great song.

  • classical masterpiece couldent be done better i listen respert and admire all the oldies legends

  • Absolutely wonderful song...takes you back to a time when pop music was both melodic and sincere.

  • indian style?

  • It's songs like this that make me long for the day when we will be able to travel back in time, if we ever will........

  • SO adorable, and nicely edited with those sweet close-up still shots of him. Big hair, perfect teeth, gorgeous. And the song too! I guess all the flashing tiny lights that go off when he sings the title words are to suggest thousands of eyes peeking? Interesting how he brings character to this when he is standing in ONE PLACE the whole time!

  • Great song!!!

  • Love it , Love it !!!!

    Thank you for posting.

  • yesssss!!!!! great video ... this is a classic ...60s' are the best ... thnax for posting.. Lyndloo.

  • Great song...great year!

  • I like this song & love this video featuring the immensely talented and charming Bobby Vee.

  • How adorable :D:D:D

  • We went to a concert in Perth N.d. that Bobby Vee was performing it was also a dance. My buddy lost his hard contact lens on the dance floor We asked Bobbys band to stop for awhile so we could look for it and they did we didnt find it but thought it was nice thet did that They had a class act. The sixties rule.

  • Bobby Vee was one of THE premier hit makers of this golden era! I can't believe how nostalgic I get when listening to these great songs! Loved Bobby Vee!

  • Bobby Vee was much more than I realzied then. The best days of my life. I'm healthy now; but a bit bored, sometimes.

  • did you know that he replaced buddy holly after he got killed to finish off the tour

  • Hey, I was born in Peru i 1978, but I totally love this song from Bobby Vee. Got his others songs as well in CD format. I think it would've been great to live in the USA during those days. Totally different to this day.

  • This is one of my favorite songs, and I'm in 7th grade!

  • Great song! It's so powerful and gives you a lot of energy :D

  • anita kelsey did a remake of this and it dominates bobby vee's version.. he's just too upbeat in a song about someone he thinks is cheating on him o_O

  • He is sooo hot I remember jammin to this song when i was a kid

  • awesome song

  • This song kicks ass! I am only 30 and I love this guy and the Era!!

  • My absolute favorite jam!! Such a kick ass song!! Love the bit where he goes " And no, matter what i do" and then the chorus bit after that. Its brilliant. This is the type of music that will live on forever. Not like the crap on the radio stations now. And this is coming from a teenager. Completely agree with you haleyleey!

  • This is a clip from British TV "Thank your lucky stars"

  • He was what you would/should call cute. I love the way he just stands there moving his elbows and hands about going through the routine of singing this song until its over. As much as I like this song by bobby there are others I enjoy even more; like charms, sharing you and baby face. Thankyou for posting this video and take good care of my baby cause I'm walking with my angel here in vancouver canada. lol

  • im a teenager who is proud to say i listen to this man, and other legends like him. some kids need a lesson in what music is

  • @haleyleey i agree

  • @haleyleey me too

  • @haleyleey

My daughters one of whom is Hayley are in their 20's now. Thanks to MOM they know all the words and love all these songs too!!!

  • @haleyleey Totally agree with you....

  • @haleyleey its about time u did, this is no snoop dog garbage but someone must have a video of "come back when you grow up girl "

  • @haleyleey Listen to Del Shannon and The Righteous Brothers doing Unchained Melody.

  • @haleyleey what a lovly comment thumbs up

  • @haleyleey When this music was new, adults dismissed it as if it were nothing. But since it has stood the test of time, we can say for sure that this is true art and that the singer is a true artist.

This music has moved as many people as DaVinci and Beethoven did. In my opinion, it was the most important art of the 20th century....above Picasso, above everything.

  • @maryquant1967 Bold assertion, but as true as can be.....

  • @maryquant1967 ONE CANNOT SAY IT BETTER THAN YOU DID, HALEYLEEY!!!!!!

  • @haleyleey im 13 lol usaly listen to trance tecno rave get pished every friday after skool but when i just heard this it is really catchy

  • @haleyleey Couldn't have put it better...

  • @haleyleey I agree and you are a smart teenager.

  • Classic, brilliant track, proper music.

  • I won two tickets in a twisting comp in Perth years ago.The prize was tickets to Bobby Vee at Pinochios. He was booed off stage because of Doug Parkinson (a second rate act and a fat wanker) I spoke to B.V after the concert for an hour or so, what a great bloke.

  • Glorious song and vocal !!!!!!!!

  • @oceanbound222 its beautifull :)) :))

  • Wow! That sure is a trebley soundtrack!

  • He is such a cutie!!! Thanks for posting!!

  • I first heard this song today and am completely in love with it

  • Best 2:20 ever.

  • Loved BOBBY!!!!!!!!! and the Carpenter's version was great too.

  • Wait wait, I left out that the song was on the car radio at the time! Sorry about that.

  • I have a funny story to demonstrate how music can be the glue for our memories. When this song was a hit, I was in my Aunt's car stopped at a red light. I opened a pack of baseball cards and said to my cousin, "Hey Peter look! Gil Hodges and Duke Snyder on the same card!" Now, every time I hear this song on an oldies station, I think to myself " Oh yeah, I remember, Gil Hodges and Duke Snyder were on the same baseball card"....lol

  • That's a good insight about music being a memory glue.

This song brings me back to when my brother was home for the holidays when I was 16. One night we were all in the car with my parents playing the oldies station, and my brother asked if I knew who the artist was.

  • WOOOOOO!!!!

  • The Carpenters did a nice cover of this (with Richard on lead vocal) on the "Now and Then" album (circa 1974).

  • This song was one of his biggest hits. I loved it. I love Bobby Vee.

  • My favorite Bobby Vee song. I loved everything he did. My daughter met him after an oldies concert when she was 9 and he gave her his autograph. He was a very gracious person and made over her like she was his own daughter. She still remember him.

  • Anything before the 80's was awesome, What I mean is that the new music can't live up to what they did in the 50's or 60's. Rock and Roll baby Rock and Roll

  • Bobby Vee did an album with the ventures. "Bobby Vee Meets The Ventures" Great album. I love his voice

  • Wow. What an atractive man! The classics rule the current.

  • Bobby was the singer that replaced Buddy Holly the nite after Buddy was killed. I believe out of respect he didnt sing any of Buddys songs even though he knew them all. He is still singing and still sounds great. Donn

  • I'm sorry but, the classics are THE BEST. The songs now make you feel like you can never live up to them, but these just make you feel happy and cheerful inside! I love them! And i'm only 13 lol! But i got to say, these are just plainly the BEST. Bobby Vee is pretty much my favorite artist, and this song is one of my favorites!

  • I agree. New music is music that is new to you.

  • Very good point. Being a Jock i never date music like so many jocks do.Who cares when the song was recorded. You either like it or you don't..

  • OMG- GREAT song- before I was born. Love these classics, so much better than current, thanks for posting!

  • 20 years old...adorable!

  • love it

  • Great song!

  • Ahh, wonderful memories.

  • Ah, days when singers wore suits! Rock on, Bobby!

  • he is a man i want.

    he is awesome!

  • Classy guy...classy act...classy songs!!! thanks for posting....not many like him left....

  • Great Classic from the Great 60s'!!!...Lyndloo...

  • Beautiful oldies. The best.

    Thanks.

  • I really, really love these oldies. Growing up with these songs. Remind me of Cornell Woolrich's novel 'Night Has A Thousand Eyes'.

  • "I Love You The Way You Are" was recorded as a demo by Bobby Vinton. After Vinton hit with "Roses Are Red" on Epic, Diamond Records bought the demo and released it as Vinton's second hit (1962) -- to his enormous annoyance.. Bobby Vee did not have a hit with the song.

  • BOBBY Vee, born Robert Velline on 4/30/43 in Fargo, North Dakoda. Appeared in 5 movies: Swingin' Along, It's Trad Dad,Play it Cool, Let's Live A Little, and Just For Fun. He was elligible for medicade last April.

  • medicare. I doubt if he needs medicaid.

  • Love these old songs!

  • Oh, thanks for posting! This is a wonderful song. One of the best of the 60's. A timeless classic.

  • Thanks so much for posting this great video - wow - it really takes me back. Although I was just a kid when this song came out - I can remember watching my older sister dance to it. By the way - didn't Bobby Vee do the hit "I Love You The Way You Are?" Does anybody have a video of this?

  • I love it

  • Very nice

  • He was really cute!

  • My favorite song of Bobby.

Thanks a lot for the video.
