  • David Campbell, I idolize you! I am only 12 but I am working on twenty to thirty Ninja Warrior/Sasuke obstacles. I have also always wanted to try out muscle park. I made three of my own training videos, two on my personal cliffhanger, and one on my personal salmon ladder. You can find them by searching "Etan Ginsberg" Ignore the first three videos, they are duplicates without sound. Please comment and rate the next three. If you did, that would be fulfilling my dream. Good Luck at Sasuke!!!

  • If i had my license and could afford to go to LA for the american ninja warrior tryouts I would I wouldn't even care if I got knocked out on the quad steps I'd just go to be able to say I tried :p

  • dude your my hero I love watching you on ninja warrior. Heartbreaker this year I thought you had it but i have no doubt that you will do it someday. I am currently training to go to Japan one day and compete, it is my dream and on the top of my bucket list. Since I'm only 18 I have to wait a little over 2 years to compete. Good luck with the next couple of competition and I hope to compete with you in 2 years!

  • do they do this in japan? if not, what is the age minimum for trying ninja warrior

  • @aapaly well the youngest person i saw in Ninja Warrior was 13

  • alright then! while I am 16 and I have tons of time so. while I am training myself, I need save money for ticket to japan! I heard we have ninja warrior here in USA, is dat true?

  • yo david! can deaf people join ninja warrior? if so, i hope i will be first deaf ninja warrior ever join! lol. if they think deaf people cant do, i will prove them wrong!

  • Well seeing as I couldn't understand anything they were yelling at me I may as well have been deaf!

    Good luck!

  • You have my full support bro. I'm in your corner!!!

  • I wouldn't see why not, but you wouldn't hear the klaxon if you were running out of time (nor would you know when to start, but someone could do that for you).

  • I was at muscle park the other day and a group of deaf people were there doing the course. After a lot of girls failed, one deaf girl made it across the arm bike and most of the arm rings and did better than a lot of the guys there that day.

    Go for it!

  • Maybe they didn't clean the cliff hanger because they wanted it to be realistic. See in the third stage, most of the competitors are already tired. To try and simulate this, they make the cliff hanger greasy to make it feel as if it were the real feeling of being out on the course.

Well, its either that or they have some lazy employees.

  • It's because they want you to fail. There is a free meal of some disgusting looking food at "monster burger" if you win (or so I've been told". And also once you win they tell you not to come back very often!

  • Muscle park people wants maintain the difficult image of cliffhanger, therefore they keep it slippery. Painted and rounded wood is much more challenging than the iron grip on Sasuke.

  • Yup!

Although the real thing isn't actually metal, it's wood painted silver. It has a rough texture and a coating of sticky spray, so yeah it's way easier than muscle park!

  • I understand, I thought always that it is iron. :D

Have you built your own Shin-Cliffhanger yet ?

  • Yeah! I built it the week I got back from Japan. it's huge heh!

  • Great run,man.you need train shin cliff hanger.i can do 152cm :D.

  • Great run, cliff hanger is greased at muscle park to lol.

Great run though, you took your time and you still had a great run

  • Dude you did way better than I thought you were going to do with a slick Cliffhanger...I say your fingers really working...That woulda killed me. Thanks for sharing man.

  • that sucks that they did not wipe the cliff hanger down

    pretty good man

  • Lol I love how pissed off you look when you come out of the Cliff Hanger when the go-happy music is playing in the background :)

  • that's funny to hear about the cleaning of the cliffhanger ledge, thanks Dave for asking them though 'cause I know would've lol.

  • I understand. nagano and Takeda both fell on that obstacle earlier than you did, and both of them beat it in Sasuke 21. They complained about it being slippery aswell so I believe you. Looked like you were really trying to hold on and not let go. Great determination!

  • You did good considering the technical problems. I was going to say you took a bit long but I guess you were treating it like Stage 3 (Because it pretty much is stage 3 obstacles and a Salmon Ladder).

Was this your first try or your second try?

And with your height I don't think you really had to jump for the arm rings. Unless you did that because you wanted to be fair and just jump like everyone else does.

Wow, I've almost used up all the characters that youtube gives for the comments,

  • Hey man, that's ridiculous how they wouldn't clean it... wow.

However, you DID do pretty well on it, so hold your head high :)
