I'm sure they'll be some TDK crazies who have either never heard of Fight Club or didn't pay attention and understood it at all who will vote for TDK anyway...

But I vote for Fight Club, and I see the inspirations TDK took from it.

@Momentum139 I like both movies, TDK wins for me though. Also inspiration from TDK wasn't taken from Fight Club, it was taken from Heat. Stylistically the films looks similar but that doesn't really mean that fight club was the first to do it either.

Plus even though TDK is a comic book movie, it has a much more deeper meaning and message than Fight Club has. Either way in the end they are both great movies.

I don't remember ever reading if this movie was even partially influenced by Fight Club, but it's so obvious that it is. Two poster for TDK depicts scenes in fight club. Batman logo burning on building(Happy face on building), Batman staring out the windows on city (Tyler and the girl stare out the window as the bombs go off). The outside scenery is pretty much the same. And finally the usage of the song "Where is My Mind?"

uh, no. HBO used Where is My Mind for their spot, where as David Fincher had the song in the film (which is probably the best ending to any film ever.) And I'm sure there are plenty of other posters where they have somebody staring out into the city, pre-Fight Club.

@AxlsAppetite You just listed a bunch of promo images used for advertisement. If you mean their advertising campaign was influenced partly by Fight Club, yeah maybe, but not the actual film. Even if those things were parts of the film, they are such superficial, insignificant images that you can't really draw a comparison. Now Old School and Fight Club, that's a better comparison.

that is the real song in the hbo promo on tv. the combination of this song and movie was genious, this video is better than the hbo one but theyre both awesome. I love in this one how the jokers voice comes right out of the engine sound of the batmobile, so well done
