The problem is that US citizens cannot even read their Constitution. Let's hope some of them go to school not for taking A's but for learning it. And maybe they would discover that the 2nd Amendment give them the right to defend themselves against unlawful acts like the one committed in the video where a person decides to kidnap another person who should be free. Here is what I don't understand.I agree that this was BS.However the a sidewalk, I can't see how it can be labeled public propertybecauseatleast the state I live in private property owners are responsible for their part of the side walk that goes on their property.Yet the city can decide all on their own to put it there, and you can be sued if someone trips over a bump that has not been repaired seems kinda f'ed up to me. An I would not want protesters in front of my house protesting somthing.

Good job standing your ground! I was once told by a lawyer that a cop can arrest you for anything, whether the charges stick is another question. The thing that bothers me is that if you didn't have a sign you wouldn't have been arrested, that makes this a case where he is directly silencing free speech.

If someone could get in touch with me, I would like to understand this. I don't have anything for or against scientology or U city police.

I do have something against what appears to be an arrest in contravention of federal law, actually even bill of rights.

I am new in town, having moved from Portland Oregon where the police are mostly jack booted thugs. In my spare time in portland my hobby was getting police imprisoned or fired for conduct far worse then this.

That said, even courteous non violent arrest is quite offensive when it appears to violate numerous laws set by far greater powers then U city or even MO.

I need the name of the detaining officer, transporting officer, and subject that was arrested, court date and charge, time and date of arrest.

Thats all public information but it would be a pain to track it all down when I don't know the local procedures.

I wont go as far as saying I want the officer fired, but re-educated for sure.
