How do you get into these leagues. I have placed in the top 500 in the world on Forza 4 and F1 2010. Also , What kind of wheel do you use and do you do all of the practise sessions aswell a Qualifying and the race. Finally , do tune your own set up because i have just started to do that,

Anyway, what is the key setting that gives the guys with the wheels a huge advantage over the controller users, I used a G27 for a while, and liked it, but didnt have the space, and i didnt get comfortable enough to take off traction completely. I did use manual, because whats the point being on a wheel and using auto, but on a controller, i run auto, and the only guys that can beat me are the top wheel users,and its rare.
On 8.28 That fisi dude has to be very very mad when that happend.. 71 laps of 1 min 10 sec and then into a spin in the 4rd last corner.. 80 minutes for nothing:P
@SmokerFace12 I've got the video of the actual race somewhere on my channel, he was on slicks and gambled for the win as he had nothing to lose. In the actual race I had been leading for the majority of the race :)
@mat2209 And I'd probably oversteer straight into my rival because I hit the kerb or I would have spun because I touched the grass. The difference between this game and rFactor is huge. It's about knowing the limits of each respective game and knowing what you will get away with. It may not be 'realistic' or whatever, it wasn't even an amazing corner cut anyway
@kptk92 yeah your right, the only reason i didnt buy this game is because it isnt realistic enough for me - you cant control the car in the pits, no safety car, no over and understeer etc etc. Will f1 2011 be an improvement? And may I say fantastic videos including the james allen voice overs etc brilliant !
@mat2209 I appreciate the comments, thank you! On 2011 there will be a safety car, oversteer is apparently easy to correct now unlike on 2010, I don't think you can turn into your pit box still which is a shame but you have control of the car coming up to the white line and as soon as you leave the pit lane whereas before it was controller automatically
@mat2209 Additionally, when you don't go down the 'realistic' route and use a controller rather than a wheel, the controller turns at a slower rate than you would with a wheel as the response with a wheel is instant. On this game, with a controller, you pretty much have to aim at cutting the corner just to make the apex. When there's variables like fuel and tyre wear, it becomes even trickier.
@ARLNiGhTMaRe Driving on a small strip of asphalt with 42 other cars at constant high speed. The racing is closer because there isn't a ton of room and turns. I'll admit, "dangerous" is really inaccurate now because of the COT and all other safety innovations.

in your first overtake you quite clearly cut the corner! if you did that in an rfactor competitive race you would be penalised straight away !
