I still think she can give a great performance but this dead on pitch and control is a bit altered today. Some believe it's aging vocal chords or wear and tare. She has said that she got a bit tired of the ballads. Maybe a mix of all things.

haha not trying to put anyone down dear ! just stating the fact that you've already said, "not so good performance" in my book means bad performance. what you just said is the same thing I stated but you only used an euphemism whereas I was straight to the point. This video on the other hand is awesome, she always touches me deeply when she sings this song, but she was terrible on MJ Memorial. 'nuff said

@erikazilla they were and they too didnt do the best they could have....but the main difference is that mariah was asked to sing at the memoiral the day of wen they found out she was in LA...she wasnt originally schedualed...she didnt have rehursal, she didnt know she was going to be first and ontop of that she didnt know the coffine with MJ was going to be right infront of the stage...all that with the emotions gives anyone constitution to choke up...and she only messed up in the begining
