The AI for these boss fights reminds me of some of the older Megaman games (Rockman 3 in particular) with all the crazy jumping around. AI for Palatine is really sad though, getting chopping up as he ineffectually launched lightning away from you. Looks fun otherwise though.

It's a video game based on a movie. Video games (based on movies) are not 100% accurate to the movies they're based on. Look at this game as well as the 1st 2 Super Star Wars games, Episode I, Episode II and Episode III.

Episode I: Qui-Gon Jinn goes through a trading sequence, Captain Panake has to rescue Queen Amidala from thugs.

Episode III: Anakin Skywalker actually fights Mace Windu instead of just slicing off his hand.

@spartanrobotguy I thought it was striking people down in anger, hatred, or jealousy that made them Dark Jedi, not necessarily killing them. Obi-wan didn't want to kill Anakin, but he was willing to do it anyway because Anakin was too far gone and a threat to society. So, considering that, why wouldn't Luke think to kill the Emperor and end the empire? More importantly, why didn't he hang on to his lightsaber to defend himself? I love the movie and the ending, but that was stupid move.

I have these Star Wars games on SNES, and oh boy, we're they hard or what? But with a force in my hands I got through the first one and the third, second was SO hard. But they all are very hard games, especially some bosses are crazy. In the SNES version, I really had this Emperor fight to last like 20 minutes, he blasted all the stages that you could stand to pieces so it got really hard to get close and personal with him. That bastard.

Me too if I remember correctly, I just wasn't bright enough to get "inside" him and just smash the button. That would've helped so much. But seriously, when he gets to destroy almost the whole room, then it's going to be hard, very hard. You should try it, to just to know is kind of worth it.

It's hard to say... It is very old, and you must not buy it for it's graphics but gameplay. I downloaded the rom and an emulator, since that also gives you the ability to save your progress. I don't know id that is possible with the SNES. It can be quite challenging so beware of frustrating points in the game. So I guess you need to play the hole game in one time, and that requires some hours. Decide for yourself.

fraps, u should use visual boy advance. Anyways its easy to kill darth vader, like one light saber swing takes out like 1 ball, anwyas you said that I took longer to defeat the sith but it only took me 1:12 it took you like 1:30.
