  • going great I started a low carb diet back in January and have lost 50lbs. Back down to 130 now. I started exercising a couple months ago and started P90X about 2 weeks ago. I am definitely gaining muscle. I love p90x.

  • Woo Hoo round 2 time! i dont think the bands show as much result as free weights, but i have the bands too and they do the job its just hard to judge how much tention to give urself ya know... and i love those push up bars!!! im on week 3 now so stay in touch.. good luck and BRING IT

  • Yeah the bands didn't do crap..Now that I'm using the Pull-ups Bars.. I see lots of results...Yeah the push up bars make a huge difference...

    Oh and since you are the YOUTUBE P90X cook, I have to tell you I am loving the ZipLock Steamer Bags for the Microwave. Have you tried them yet?

  • I know I know.. What a big slacker I am.... Yes the pull up bar is kicking my butt..I love those Microwave ziplock baggies too.. I have a week one update.. now it's time for week two update and still haven't uploaded week one.. Plus I've been bad..I think I'm gonna start over at week one LOL...And I have a really big update..Thanks for keeping me on track...

  • You are so right about the bands, I was the same way, I finally got the pull up bar right around phase II, it helped alot!!!

  • YAY!! A video!! You'll like the pullup bar, just use a chair to start with. I went from being able to do zero to 3.5 the other day.

  • Thanks for the info. I have one little suggestion. If you'd like to stick with the bands maybe get a different resistance. Like the maroon or dark green ones. Just something to think about.

  • I have another band too but I just wasn't feeling the resistance..That's why I had to stick with the red one.. But the handels kept breaking.. I'm gonna save the band for vacations.. I think if I only use it once in awhile it should be fine..I'm getting my butt kicked on the pull up bar..Thanks for the tip..

I used to make just video blogs but I deleted them.. Cuz of some weiner..but that's a whole another story...I know what you mean.. It's so easy to get off track... Just do what you can and forget the rest...Thanks for the welcome..

    The stats you quoted for your first round are GREAT! You will be totally ripped by the end of this one if you stick to that nutrition guide. I switched to the portion plan after trying brussels sprouts :) Never again! Looking forward to your cooking vids.

  • Thanks Matt, That's the goal Be in the best shape of my life by age 30 (December). That should 4 rounds of P90x by January..I'm eating a ton of food..The recipes In the P90x diet guide are Good.. I'm Surprised..Thanks for the comment..Looking forword for your next video..

Javier still hasn't showed up for P90x. I give him a hard time about it.. All he's thinking about is golf..Oh yeah we haven't done the final weigh in yet..How many people do you have showing up for class?

  • I'm following the P90x Diet guide. I'm a Level two.. OMG that is alot of food..I'm on a Protein High.. When I get to those last 7 bits I don't want any more,But I finish it. I don't understand it myself. I know that you had asked a question about it before..We will see how it goes..

  • Congratulations on completing round 1.

    The pull up bar will get you max results. It will really help bring out the definition in your back.

  • Yep, I agree the pull up bar is much cheaper in the long run. I'm cosidring the push up bar, probably when I get to phase three. Good job on finishing round 1. Bring it even harder in round 2.
