  • Hi Bitches

  • The music doesn't go with the video.

  • ACE COMBAT: ZERO SONG !!

  • I fail to see a Spanish connection....

  • funny song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @bainface YOU ARE AWESOME! Great music choice. I know this from Ace Combat Zero!

  • Why the Mexican music...? This isnt the Vietnam War =P

  • @Blefyplayswow It's not Mexican, it is from Ace Combat Zero.

  • psalm 144:1 + sniper rifle = win

  • @LetsPlayMaster112 German swinehunt

  • go jackson go!!!!

  • Hank's LT is based on Major Howie, who did in fact have a betting pool with his men about what he did before the war. Killed at ST. Lo, he was never able to tell them that he was teaching at Staunton Military Academy, in the Shenandoah Valley. The school's drill team then became the Howie Rifles.

  • 1 What is disturbing about "Ryan" is that I believe it crosses the line between dramatic license and flat out lying. Gen. G. Marshall never ordered eight men to risk their lives - during the Normandy invasion, no less to save a single private because his three brothers died. To have Marshall, identified with a printed title, on camera, order such a horribly stupid thing is not only painfully insulting, I think it's libellous. To me it would be like making a WW2 movie that showed FDR

  • @LeeHoxton1 SPR is historical fiction. It never claims the story was based on truth,

  • @LeeHoxton1 uhh... i didn't know there was any controversy related to this film. the guys who made it acknowledged that it infact was made by combining 4 different real stories to make one fictional. 1. some group of paratroopers dropped behind enemy lines and ran thin on everything. 2. one guy losing brothers in the war etc. 3. a group of soldiers termed MIA but eventually made it back on their own, etc, etc. i forgot the 4th one.

so just sit back and njoy the movie bro(if u haven't till now)

  • @KR571 There's some fair comments there, and you most probably right. Robert Rodat wrote this one. He also wrote ''The Patriot.'' That's entertaining, but what a load of bollocks in the cold light of day. There's a lot of people that have been debating S.P.R, and coming up with counter arguments. It is a thoroughly entertaining movie which I first see in 1998. Since then it gets worse and worse from certain angles. I'll send some comments. If your interested, otherwise you cansay F-off, no probs

  • 2 personally selling military secrets to the Nazis. That's not a good "what if?" situation, it's a bald-faced lie. The U.S military may spend billions on planes that don't fly, but they didn't order eight guys during the D-Day invasion to save one guy because his brothers died in battle. That's a fact. Therefore, "Saving Private Ryan" is a lie; it crossed the line and is no longer drama, it's now slander

  • 3Schindler's List & Saving Private Ryan r the biggest exploitation movies I've ever seen in my life. If you accept the definition of exploitation movie as dramatically unnecessary taking of human life or dignity to achieve visceral thrills or shocks

  • SPIELBERG IS BRILLANT ! TOM HANKS IS BRILLANT! ENOUGH SAID. These men are heros and our country is what is it is today because of their bravery. RIP ALL VETERANS OF WAR!

  • Spielberg shows all of the German's as Skinheads because he's using Skinhead as a visual representation of NAZI.......................The Geezer is a wanker...but Jaws is brilliant though!

  • @LeeHoxton1

...or maybe because the common military haircut is buzzcut, aka skinhead?

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun What rarely gets mentioned is that there's only 1/2 Swastika insignias in the entire movie. It's as if Spielberg has consciously left them out, but repeatedly perpetuated the idea from the start of the movie that the Partisan soldiers at Omaha, and the German troops are all evil Nazis'. This is culminated in the showing of the Star of David, mention of Holocaust, which U.S. soldiers didn't know about, and the Germans have skinhead haircuts (Neo-Nazi visualisation)!

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun I think we can both agree that the Spielberg team would have done their homework and looked at a lot of archive footage. Trust me, you won't find any footage of German's with skinheads. This means that it has been done intentionally as a subtle visualization, or as someone else has pointed out to me, that it's just a basic error. I think that with the budget and research done it's most likely done on purpose. Also most of the Wehrmacht would have been in their 20's, not 30+

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun I'm getting boring now, but I just have to say that if a Japanese director made a movie about the Pacific conflict, and portrayed the U.S. soldiers as baby killing animals, it would be a complete fabracation, inaccurate, and ultimately disrespectful. Part of the reason why there's a problem with S.P.R. is because the writer is Robert Rodat. He also wrote ''The Patriot,'' which portrays the British as genocidal maniacs, and the colonials as ''Good'' slave owners!

  • @LeeHoxton1

Robert Emmerich didn't portray the British as genocidal maniacs. He only portrayed Tavington has a bloodthirsty maniac, the rest were just troops following orders. Spielberg, also, portrayed the Germans quite well in this movie. Maybe not in the military sense, but in the humane sense. There is one seen where after a German soldier stabs Mellish to death, and then encounters Upham. The Soldier lets Upham live, knowing he is no threat to him.

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Your right, he did portray Tavington (J. Isaacs/Top Actor) as a bloodthirsty nut, but all of the British are guilty by association. Was this British policy? So this also means that the German Einsatzgruppen (death Squads) were just men following orders. Rodat made the British look like the S.S., even writing in a massacre, that is identical to one that happened in France (Burning Church scene)

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Ah yeah the German Soldier who kills Mellish with a Hitler Youth Knife. Another skinhead in his mid 30's. Perhaps he did let him live for that reason. It is also conceivable that the German is also in a different mental state. It is in the text books that killing someone from 100 yards is different from killing in hand to hand combat. (trying not to trivialize killing here) I thought that the German was in a brief moment of shock, like he'd committed a crime. All conjecture.

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Last point. I thought the German's could have been anybody. British, French, Vietnamese, Fremen, Hutt, Klingon. They were just there to act as the bad geezers, on a very basic Good Vs Evil level. Spielberg manages to do a better job portraying Nazis' and German's in Raiders, and Last Crusade, and that was an action adventure PG movie.

    This isn't a good portrayal.

  • 11. I dont know why we're numbering things.

  • @YoungVidic15 Cause we have every Tom Dick and Harry saying great movie or respect to those who were there....................trust me, my grand parent and there grand parents don't feel like that.....and the movie is a piece of shit...and I'm pissed right now.

  • @YoungVidic15 come on number what you thing, be a critic

  • @YoungVidic15 come on, number it. what do you think?, be a critic!

  • 10. It's farcical when the Tiger tanks rooling along at the and then a whole American divisions come along as Hanks dies.

  • 9 The Ted Danson scene with the lad from serenity was comical

  • 5. How does a squad of G.I.s take on a panzer division? Spiel made the German's look incompetent. It does both the German's and American's a disservice.

    6. No Jewish-American (less than 1% of the U.S. force) stands in front of Werhmacht troops mocking them.

    7. Does anybody care about Ryan? It is Matt Damon after all.

    8. Spiel doesn't develop characters....I'm indifferent about all of them..I cite Cross of Iron or Platoon as examples of developing characters you either like or hate!

  • 1. Spiel shows Star of David at beginning.....1/4 of U.S. Citizens were of German origin in the 1940s. Where was he in Hanks' squad?

    2. Why were all the German's skinheads? Never seen ww2 footage with German skinheads!

    3. What's all that gibba gabba with the sniper, and Springfield’s only carry 5 rounds.

    4. Why attack bloody machine gun nest in the middle of the movie..and the German they let go kills Hanks in the end. Upham kills the german. What's Spiel saying here?

  • Now I am well aware of the stir this comment might make but how much brain washing does it take to convince someone to lineup in those water crafts when anyone can CLEARLY see the enemy waiting on top of a hill with mini-guns?

  • @blckflcn23 It's not brainwashing. It is sharing a belief that some things are worth dying for. Whether it's the guy next to you, your family, your country some come through. Those are the people in later years who build great things. It might be at Lexington, the Alamo, Omaha Beach. it might be the fireman who rushes into the World Trade Center. Exemplified in Henry's speech before the battle in Henry V. That is what prevents traitors like Obama from winning in the end.

  • The sniper is well peng

  • is that Matt Damon at 5:24?

  • Comment removed

  • @jjboy309 yeah that's him

  • Spielberg need to make similar movie but with theme Battle Of Stalingrad it will be awesome too.

  • @mg42music there is a movie "enemy at the gates" (i guess), it's about battle of stalingrad, snipers fight, famous russian sniper Zaitsev against germans best shooter major... don't remember his name (Ed Hardy). i liked it very much, awsome!

    have you seen it?

  • @usfootman Yeah man, it's very cool movie and I really like battle of Zaitsev against Konig but it's not that realistic and brutal as SPR, I mean there should be movie about some eastern front battle but SPR style, know what I mean?

  • minute 4:59 "Wow, I am driping or this .45 kick ass!" (Tom Hanks)

Man, if you are not a trailers-maker, then you are waisting your talent!

  • man what it would have been like to be there.

  • it's so beautifull film!!!

  • @usfootman

    Beautiful !? ...

    Do you like death?

In movie is fine, is looking good - special effects ;-) -, but...

A !... You thought like some time machine thing. :)

  • @2010greenleaf The film is not about death. Film is about heros, real heros...

and about how to be a hero, and how to be a hero till the very last moment of your life, and that - is beautifull.

it was a beautiull war, when real heros step out....

  • @usfootman

    You're right.

I like too these films about war : "Enemy at the gates" and "Saving Private Ryan".

And... accounnt and these "Wheels of war" and "Apocalypse Now". :)

    ;-)

  • horrible assault mission...

  • FUGGIN SPAWN KILLERS

  • worst ww2 movie ever, absurd story line and conversations writen by hollywood directors and not by survivors. I prefer to hear Veterans talking instead Spielberg and Hanks. Checkout Heinrich Severloh,Galland Steinhoff and David Silva here on YT or Stalingrad

  • @Lagerfeld2008 you do know the Nazi's lost this war right? Quit trolling on YT, if it's the worst WW2 movie ever why so many nominatons for best picture? that's what I thought.......take the cock out of your ass and get on with your life, fucking TROLL.

  • @JackieFan123 hmmmmm....? this movie didnt won the award for the best Screenplay. Maybee coz the whole story is fictional (ridiculous)? A bridge too far is a true story, Battle of Britan is a true story, The Downfall is a true story, Das Boot is a true story, Stalingrad is a true story.

  • damit! roger marris why did you join ww2!!??

  • Thanks America

  • War is a Vurtrude

  • mike mouse all i have to say...lol

  • About realism: you, guys, should see one film under the title "Come and see" by Elem Klimov, if you truly want to know something about war

  • AceCombat music! haha nice!

  • God bless those brave men who really fought in that war! Jesus knows i would not be brave enough

  • nice movie :D

  • What is the name of music?

  • @Danny91310 - Music is from a Playstation2 game called "Ace Combat Squadron Leader" - epic fighter-game

  • if hitler didnt invade russia..holy shit...

  • @skylineh34 if he didnt invade russia the war wuda been over a lot fast

  • @johnmcclane125 How do you figure that? Russia had no intent to bother Germany. But since Hitler got a bit too big for his briches and did attack Russia, that opened a massive new front that took a lot of resources and men off the western front. When Hitler attacked Russia, he sealed his fate.

  • hmm, iam german and i must say.. its not the best movie i saw ^^

  • most realistic ww2 movie

  • As in all conflicts since then, US Army Air Corps, later Air Force promised the powers that be it would take care of all enemy defense and Army would just do a walkover. Opening scene shows how that promise is always kept.

  • i did a presentation for communication in Police foundations in college and used this video lmao

  • Zero- Ace combat zero soundtrack

  • Like they say ...'If you can read this , thank a teacher, if you can read it in english , thank a soldier'

  • @TheHigherVoltage WELL DEAL WITH IT THAT'S WHAT WE'R GOOD AT.

  • @nati032158 ya you go GI Joe.

  • @TheHigherVoltage dude shut the fak up, u don't know shit about politics.

  • @nati032158 you're good at what? making shit up? yep...that's your politics.

Shouldn't you be over in Iraq securing the oil tough guy? I mean...defending "freedom"?

  • @TheHigherVoltage dude are u shiting me, i don't agree the war in Iraq too, but i agree the war in Afghanistan, where are u from anyway?

  • Canada. We agree with the war in Afghanistan to. We've been there since the US went after 9/11....funny how that never seems to make American news, but we are.

  • @TheHigherVoltage look am not gone say we didn't do bad things, and i defenatily think that the war in Iraq is wrong. Canada and U.S. have been close for ever, so lets not fight we are fighting the same war TERRORISM!!!

  • @TheHigherVoltage This movie was not about WWII... it was about those 8 men and their objective. they followed those 8 Americans from D-Day to the End. Thats why it shows nothing of any other countries effort...

  • The music is Zero, from Ace Combat Zero

  • great video! didnt like the music near the 2:16 part though.

  • I agree, war is never right but unfortunately sometimes it is necessary.

  • @eurasianchica what?

  • @LeeHoxton1 Did you not understand? What I meant was that war is never morally right, but sometimes it is necessary to stop an enemy from hurting your own people.

  • @eurasianchica that`s what spielberg sad when he made this movie

  • best movie ever!!!

  • @ElM4Master jeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • It is my favourite cinema

  • the war was an awful thing and it was sad that so many people had to die, if it be American, German, Japanese, Italian or whatever... many good people died. I remember when I told an old friend that I was going in the Army he told me that the thing about wars is they are declared by politicians and fought by soldiers, the fact of the matter is no one really wins war....its all brutal what one man can do to another...in the end its us against our brothers. I think you just got to find whats right

  • My neighbor actually served on D-day as a ranger. He was in the second row of ships that came in after the ones that are shown in the movie. He actually requested this movie to see if it was anything like the real thing.

  • My great uncle was shot down over Germany during the war and was held in Stalag 17 B for a couple years. He and other POW's were marched over 90 miles (I believe) while they were starving. It's a miracle he even survived.

  • My uncle fought through the Battle of the Bulge, AND part of the Korean war. It's really to bad he passed away last year.

  • Sometimes I wonder what kinda things the war veterans must have seen...if there is ever a world war 3, I am going in the military ASAP.

  • the best trailer! from a non-movie make :D

  • why do you blog here? my uncles died so you could spew your horseshit. i am a german-american. the german soldiers had no idea of what to expect. like our soldiers in Afii or IrQ. looky here, thank god you are american. you are the priveledged class. should it not have been for a 2-front war, and the Russians, you would be speaking German or Japanese. By the way, du spreche zie Deutsche, nein? I did not think so. You can thank my uncles. I am an old geezer.

  • i speak a little german

  • Yeah i understand Germany looks best through a Norton bomb site Franz.. hey we did not start either world war.. wow lets reflect Hey KRAUT germans both times your lucky im not still kicking the shit out of you hanz.. piss off

  • I understand how you are feeling....I do think that there were many good German soldiers....however I can not support the SS. ja spreche ich deutsches wenig, nicht sehr fließend selbstverständlich, aber genug, vorbei zu erhalten.

  • ja, das ist verstele. i could not have said it better. danke.

...i hope my German ounds right because Im a little off still :)

  • Mir gefallt, was sagen. Was ist Notwendigkeit?

  • @CDTwheaton xD hes using a google translator... er benutzt einen Google Übersetzer... mein sohn. Frieden mit dir ;)

  • @TheGermanFist

    haha das ist sehr lustig

  • my grandfather was on omaha, second wave he said the first thing he did was take cover from the bullets by hiding behind the soldiers after they stopped shooting at the boat he just ran out and took cover behind those metal things on the beach that stop tanks from coming in, he said alot were laying on the ground, crying for their mum's, and he just sat there, doing nothing then he ended up getting to the bunkers and killing some germans, he even got a german trench knife for keeps

  • hell i my dad was actually in war and let me tell you this...they see things that should never be seen in war.like gettin the shit blown out of u or gettin tottaly fucked up by bullets. this shit happens and id only know becuz it heard it from a source

  • i would only join the military if it was a ww2 situatuion like where a powerful nation is on the verge of taking on the world..but not for something like this bullshit 'war on terror'

  • i never want to be a soldier

  • why? you know how Honorable it is. the Respect you get. the Brotherhood you join. and the Moral Code's you get from it. being a soldier is one of the best decisions a person can make.

  • Yes it is very Honorable... but the government is so stupid not to plan anything and send our men into their death.... Thats why I dont want to join the war...

  • very true. if only our government was as great as our military. but the government wouldnt think twice about the death of a soldier... thats the sad part

  • Yeh, I know what you mean. I'm from England and our government is just plain stupid.

  • Butthurt? I think so.

    My granddad killed your granddad!

  • I pray that the father our heavenly has cured your sufferings and has left to you light memory of the most favourite left from us and severe sad pride of that that you have given all the most expensive on an altar freedom (Avraam Linkoln)

  • This is the best film ever made

  • sure it is, never heard of D-Day???

  • good job

  • is it a real story?

  • its a fake movie sure its not real mot things then its a movie

  • yes most of movies dont show the truth Great Britain and russia doing the whole job since the war started

  • yeah but the first action of the american in Europe was in 1943 before that it was in the Pacific...that's why the Britain, the Canadian and the russian was doing all the job

  • russia did an awful lot.. i defo hav to agree ther... not so sure abt GB..

i still cant believe that something like that happened so recently... the worst human disaster.. ww2.. suppose ww3 is inevitable.. n sounds like its gna b 1000times worse than ww2

  • I love saving private ryan! GOODJOB!
