  • George Foreman is the best than Hopkins...

George Foreman vs. Bernard Hopkins...who will win?

  • I say Hopkins his competetion is better.

  • Bhop has been great no doubt, but Pacquiao is the way more exciting, thrilling, powerful puncher with a more impressive resume and the "fashion" in which he annihilated all his opponents. Bhop and Mayweather win on boring points, but Pacquiao annihilates his opponents. Pacquiao is the undisputed P4P and Round 4 Round and Punch 4 Punch King.

  • correction 10 Titles

  • pacs resume is better. goto wiki and compare both fighters. easy work

  • @truthseek99, with all due respect, it's hard to take the opinion of someone who uses wikipedia as their primary source of boxing knowledge seriously.

  • @iljn1988 with all doe respect, if you find wiki in error or containing false information. you should personally become an author and go correct the info to your liking. go ahead

  • People always talk of mayweather being a threat to pacquiao but where is he now? He is hiding from manny, that's where he is. And now, he's more of a threat to his wife than to anyone else! Loud mouth mayweather, please come out and fight - you've disappointed millions of fans.

  • mayweather is the greater than pacquiao and hopkins (Just Joking) lol...

  • bhops are more when you look at it because the opponents of bhop were always at there best or just coming off great wins glen john like 30 and 0 then trinidad people said bhop wood lose but he dominated dela hoya was no match either so the speed of the lower weights wasnt anuff then he moves up to fight tarver and dominates then domiantes unbeaten pavlik and pascal twice the thing is with most of them is bhop was espected to lost acept maybe hoya.. manny fighting underdogs bhop is the underdog

  • Hopkins by a landslide.

  • if u were to choosen w/c one u would want for urself who would u choose ragu?

  • if pac had accomplished it beating the actual division champ i would have said pac since he did it taking on lesser opp. it means that he only has paper belts meaning on paper and record it looks good but the people that watched it actually (us) know the truth i mean wasnt one of his belts aquired beating david diaz? on the other hand hopkins to reign middle weight for 10 years and now past his prime to have enough ability n smarts to beat The champ at light heavy champ.. come on no brainer

  • ELI SECHBACH type question

  • They are both great fighters. Both accomplishments are rare in the sport of boxing. To me, its like comparing apples and oranges. Weather you love them or you hate them, they set the standards high. To me its a draw.

  • They are both great fighters. Both accomplishments are rare in the sport of boxing. To me, its like comparing apples and oranges. Weather you love them or you hate them, they set the standards high. To me its a draw.

  • i think bernard is greater 20 defenses of the middle weight title n becoming the oldest champion.. look at he list of his next opponents.. lucian bute, chad dawson, carl froch, mikkel kessler even andre ward.. way more risk for hopkins in these matches at his age. pacman 8 titles titles dont mean shit any more. they just gave a title to chavez jr. pacman biggest threat is mayweather whose a recognized champ without a title im going with hopkins on this one.

  • So in answer to the actual question I would say Hopkins because Pacquiao's Post ODLH career, in my opinion, is overrated. There's no denying his brilliance at the lower weights though and when I say overrated that is not to say that any fighter could have done what he's done at the higher weights. I still rate him.

  • When comparing the common opponents of late it also show what I always suspected - i.e Mayweather fought them when they where better for one reason or another:

    ODLH- FM 663, MP 600

    RH- FM 934, MP 905

    JMM 898, MP 697 (1st time), 855 (2nd time)

    SM FM 1179, MP 578

  • The Boxrec ranking points of Mayweather's past 5 opponents (at the time of the fight) are 1179 (Mosely), 898 (JMM), 934 (Hatton), 663 (ODLH), 749 (Baldomir).

The equivalent for Pacquiao are 578 (Mosely), 494 (Margarito), 429 (Clottey), 645 (Cotto), 905 (Hatton).

If Boxrec is a reliable source for the worth/rating of a fighter (which is a separate debate in itself) then it suggests that Mayweather's recent record is stronger than Pacquiao's alothough further spread (4.5 years to Pacquiao'ss 2).

  • Both are great fighters, but if i had to choose which accomplishment is greater it would be bernard hopkins no doubts.

  • yo ragu your dissapearing man! Looking younger 2! Go od deal.hey whats your take on this. Since the past 2 yrs pac only been going after guys who have lost? floyd beats Oscar = Pac fights DLH floyd KO's Hatton= Pac fgts Hatton Marg destroys Cotto= Pac fgts Cotto Cotto beats Clottey= Pac fgts Clottey Mosley destroys Marg= Pac fgts Marg floyd schools Mosley= Now Pac is interested in fgting Mosley Martinez KTFO of Williams= Maybe Pacroid now will opt 4pw Pac prob fight Pw@& DRAIN HIM!
  • Hopkins is better because there are more titles in one division now therefore it is easier to win one. they are both still great accomplishments.

  • id say b hop. cleared out the middleweight division and reigned for 10 years which is amazing and didnt lose for twelve years! he is the oldest world champ in history which counts for a lot and did it by beating the top guy in the division. he never ducks anyone and takes on the best comp out there. pac has never cleaned out any division and seems to avoid young hungry fighters. gotta give him props for the 8div champ. but how many of those titles came against the top guy in the division

  • pacquiao became the first man to win titles in 4 of the original 8 weight divisions in boxing(112,126,135,147). and pacquiao also holds the record of 4 LINEAL championships in 4 different weight classes (112,126,130,140).if you base it on winning a title at an older age george foreman would be the second most accomplished boxer, but if u base it on quality oppositions and records pacquiao is the most accomplished fighter to ever live and i dont think anyone can ever beat dat. so pacquiao

  • @MartyMMA1, quality of opposition and record? If we based it on that (who they beat and dominance against the best of their era), then there are a lot who'd be ahead of Pacquiao. Armstrong, Greb, Robinson, Langford, Charles, B. Leonard, etc. A few more, but you get my drift. Titles mean so much less today, and how many so-called 'world titles' in different divisions isn't the main factor of greatness. If it were, Duke McKenzie, Iran Barkley & Miguel Cotto would be greater than Robinson & Jofre!

  • @iljn1988 well, ok i see what your saying. there's 4 major belts in one weight division. and back in the day there was only one champ per weight division. pacquiao won LINEAL (the best, the man who beat the man) championships in 4 seperate weight class. nobody has done that.

  • @iljn1988 dont tell me its easy to jump in weight classes cuz its not. tell me who has won 8 titles in 8 divisions? tell me who won titles in 4 of the first 8 original weight classes? (the only man to come close to doing it is henry armstrong) and tell me who has won 4 Lineal titles in 4 divisions other than pacquiao?

  • @MartyMMA1, not saying it's easy at all. What Pacquiao has done is fantastic, don't get me wrong. He's a nailed-on all time great. I just don't put as much stock in the 'titles in 8 divisions' thing, just as I didn't proclaim De la Hoya the greatest of all time when he became the first man to win titles in 6 divisions. True, nobody has won titles in 4 classic divisions, but given the nature of the times, that still doesn't match Fitzsimmons, Armstrong, Ross or Canzoneri's 'triple crown' feats.

  • @iljn1988 oscar fought the better fighters for the tittles and defended the tittles multiple times also

  • Comment removed

  • how can you defend 20 ceoncseqcutive wins if you are moving up weights??? still so much hate bigaru? hahaha! get over it!

  • its obvious, bigaru on a rage of hating pac again! lol! what? calling hopkins fans to hate Pac? hahaha! your acting like a flomos bigaru! hahaha! what's next? martinez fans? marquez fans? hahaha! is it because of your bet against pac about shaving your precious.... lol

  • Hopkins had an better Accomplishment he defending the Middleweight an record 20 times facing all comers and winning all of them plus I think he can beat Chad Dawson in the near Future in my opinion

  • i dont think its fair to compare both fighters. but if you compare manny to bernard.. of course bernard accomplished more. hands down.. he's older and had fought many great fighters in the past. but manny is far from being done.. who knows how long he'll stay in boxing.

  • There should be no debating this. Hopkins wins hands down, and his resume is way better than Pac's. Not only that, he's STILL beating boxers in their prime and he's not even in his prime anymore. I refuse to debate this one, but thanks for posting Big Ragu =)

  • no doubt...it's hopkins. i guess the catchweight was a wrong move for pacman. catch weight is ok for non-title fights. his recent fights are good but not that great. he's still active so i'm still giving him chances to fight young & hungry fighters in the future but please no catchweights. a fight with mayweather of course is the one i'm craving for.

  • probbly, hopkins,he actually beat a prime fighter,as far as the 2 mos recent fights are concerned.

as a legacy as a whole,if pac actually really beats jmm this time, then he shouldnt be questioned,i wonder what weight though.jmm and floyd,or ..dare i sayd judah, would be a great fight for manny

  • Phil "The Power" Taylor won the darts world championship at 49.

  • think hopkins is greater like hes 46 thats crazy and pacquiao didnt beat the best champions on his way and fought at catchweights si i think hopkins

  • Manny end of

  • Can I correct you? Its 10 World Titles in 8 weight divisions, not 8 world titles in 8 world division =)

only a hater would say b-hop has greater accomplishment than PAC

  • @mighk21, don't be daft. If you can't at least acknowledge that Hopkins is worthy of consideration ahead of Pacquiao, then it's you with the problem, not everyone else. I acknowledge it's close, but for me Hopkins shades it. World titles (some of them won at ridiculous catchweights against poor opposition) in as many divisions as possible isn't the be all and end all. If it were, De la Hoya would be greater than Robinson - which I'm sure you'll agree is a stupid idea. At least be balanced!

  • @iljn1988 i agree, the catchweights and quality the of opponents hurt Manny's legacy.

  • @iljn1988 Let me make it simple for you, if B-hop has better accomplishment than PAC he would have been #1 P4P by now after his latest win. Now I guess I have a problem along with all the boxing experts and the whole boxing community.

How many catchweights did PAC ever got into below light welterweight? HUH! you obviously don't know! right?! LOL I guess you don't even know his natural weight do you?

now lets just say we take that 2 division PAC has, he still has 6 division title,3more of bhop

  • @mighk21, and as I keep saying, it's not solely based on who wins world titles in more divisions. I'm not denying that Pacquiao, RIGHT NOW, is pound for pound number one. But we are talking about their WHOLE CAREERS here. Hopkins dominated a 'classic' division for a decade and unified, something Pacquiao has never done. As for your first paragraph, what you're banging on about is anyone's guess. I never stated he's won all his titles at catchweights. No need to cry if someone disagrees. Jesus...

  • bhop clearly

half of pacs titles were a load of shit anyways, for example lightweight he won off david diaz, light welter off ricky hatton and the biggest joke of them all the light middle from margarito. These guys were no where near the best in the division just paper champions. Also marquez was robbed against him

    bhop all the way

  • Hey Big, nice rendition of Suspicious Minds. I did not know you could have been a threat to Elvis.

  • Greatest of All Time listed below are based upon:

    1) Head to head competition against contemporaries (How they faired against the best of their time).

    2) Contemporary’s head to head competition against other contemporaries.

    3) The impact they had on society during their time (self explanatory).

    4) Legacy (What did the fighter leave for historical significance, or what did the fighter leave for us to remember him for all time?)

  • Hard to compare. Hopkins has the better apples, Pacquaio the better oranges. Thing is Hopkins easily give Pacquiao a run in the "orange department". How? Stepping up and giving up weight and fighting top three HW like David Haye. On contrary, Pacquaio cannot give Hopkins a run in the "apple department". Pacquaio would have to retire for 15 years and then make a comeback.

  • That's not a Pacquiao shirt you're wearing, is it? 'Just curious. I think one of his more popularly accepted monikers in the Philippines is actually "Countryman's Fist." Or, Pambansang Kamao--I think that's the translation, in Philippine national language (tagalog). That's why I ask. Once again--I love B-hop and Pac. When they fight, I drop whatever I'm doing, and watch them fight. That's what it comes down to. Great warriors honing in on their craft. :) !

  • I just saw the headline, but I didn't watch the video. I'm guessing you just want to hear honest opinions. I think the two fighters--given their legacies--are hard to compare. To fans like myself (with little to no in-the-ring experience), of course the amount of hardware is the most convenient measure of a man, as far as pugilism is concerned. But, I also believe, as a fan, nonetheless, that B-hop is actually the more intelligent fighter in the sport. It's the proverbial apples and oranges.

  • Okay lets compare. Manny: 59 total fights, Hop: 60 total fights. Manny 53 wins, Hop: 52 wins. Manny 38 KO's. Hop 34 KO's, Manny 3 losses, Hop 5 losses. Manny. 8 world titles. Hop. 2 world titles. Manny is only 32 years old. he has a better record in paper then Hopkins. suck on that

    Wins 53

    Wins by KO 38

    Losses 3

    Draws

    2

  • @cyrusthegreater Lets compare competition, Hopkins (Who was the undisputed middleweight King for like 6 years) CLEANED out his division against the best middleweights in the world. He then moved up to light heavyweight at an age he was supposed to have been retired and beat the top light heavyweight in Antonio Tarver (the man responsible for making Roy Jones human). Years later he comes back and beat the top light heavyweight again...that is way better than Manny's accomplishments of cherry pick

  • @YoungDrizzle215 hmmmm 4 lineal titles(the man who beat the man) i guess its cherry picking right? bernard has 2 lineal titles.

  • hopkins is beating young gunz prime fighters paq has been fighting people who have been woooped and have seen much much better days now hopkins is fighting dawsonnn!! one of the best p4pz in the world

  • I think Pacquiao, mainly because Pacquiao has looked dominant against the opponents he has beaten, and they were better opponents too. Hopkins hasn't fought a legit SMW or LHW since Calzaghe. Pascal was taylor made for Hopkins, and he took advantage of that. Hopkins has been past his prime since 2005 and he had lot of good fights, but there was a lot of ugly fights as well. If he can beat Chad Dawson, then I would consider him just as great as Pacquiao, but I don't see that happening.

  • To me, it is comparing apples & oranges. Bernard mainly built his legacy in 1 division while Manny had to keep moving up as his weight increased. Both are difficult - Bernard had to have that ultra-consistency against any style where Manny was coming against harder punches all the time in fights & was consistantly challenged by whether he could take that. The age thing for Bernard is impressive as hell, it speaks volumes to his technique & the weight thing does the same for Manny. Both great.

  • 8 title in different division is something no one had achieved but Pacquiao. Achievement that maybe in this century will never be duplicated!

  • Dude you gotta drop more MOFOs lol

  • pacquiao gets my vote. my gripe about hopkins is that he can still make middleweight but doesn't want to fight martinez. he could make super middle, but that division is loaded with Super Six guys--eek. So he goes up to Light Heavy where the top 10 includes such future hall of famers as Issaac Chilmeba, Gabriel Campillo, Beibut Shumenov and Karo Murat, (sarcasm) and beats their champion, who sucks. Foreman KO'd Moorer who beat Holyfield who KO'd Douglas who KO'd Tyson--big difference.

  • pacquiao never uses dirty tactics..

hopkins is Notorious for fighting dirty haha. prolly one of the dirties fighters ive seen.

excessive clinching, brutal head butts, pushing with his head, kidney punches, holding and hitting, hitting on the break..

its all part of hopkins gameplan, he uses everything to win

  • @shundymagundy what do Hopkins, berto, zab and KFC boy has in common ? Black and a dirty personality like a nigger

  • This is a good question and very tought one to answer. I would proably say hopkins by a whisker. Just because he won a title at 46 and looked dam good doing it. When foreman did it, he didnt look that impressive it was just is immense power what won it for him. But hopkins still looks awesome. But both men have defied the odds and im a massive pacquiao fan. But i just think Hopkins achievement is more special.

  • Who has fought more HOF opponents?

  • Who knows? It's like comparing a football passing record against a rushing record. Both guys have great accomplishments. I like to watch Pac fights more. He is usually more entertaining and doesn't fight dirty like b-hop.

  • BERNARD HOPKINS IS PURE ENTERTAINMENT FROM WHEN THE FIGHT IS ANNOUNCED TO THE FINISHING BELL

    FUCKING LOVE IT

  • its obvious, Manny has a better resume.

  • hopkins held down 160 for 20 title defences and is still whoopin ass at 46, his only non controversial loss is to a young rjj. hopkins is the man.

  • hopkins... he fought better comp. and doesn't have the gifts pacquiao has...

  • Dude! yo ragu if pacroid even fought have the level of competion b hop's had no way...bernard from the begining from echols aka kid dynamite and i know u remembers those from rjj in they're prime b hops accomplished and beat way better competion his resume speaks for itslelf and i really dont recall a 32yr old b hop fighting old and busted bumms..so pacroid next to b hop come on ragu! your breaking my neck!

  • whats your shirt? countrymans fist?

  • If Hopkins is greater than Paqman then Calzaghe must be the best fighter of this generation.

  • @Mjolbaggar lol typical pactard response.. bhop was 44 in that fight that many ppl thought he won and calzaghe refused the rematch.

  • @kingjames1101 Well, Hopkins didnt win that fight in MOST peoples eyes becose Hopkins was clearly outworked by Calzaghe. And I have no clue why people keep bringing up Hopkins age in that fight. Do you have any idea how dumb that sound when he (older) went on to beat Kelly Pavlik, nr 1 middleweight at the time and then winning against the nr 1 light heavy weight twice. Robbed first time but they got it right this time.

  • @Mjolbaggar people r mentioning his age cos what he's able to do defies all logic and theres a vid on here on theboxingblitz channel that breaks down how bhop was robbed against calzaghe. pacquiao and mayweather wont even fight the top competition in there early 30's bhop been doin it since the early 90's.

  • Dude whats up with the lack of beard???????????

  • pacquiao without doubt.

  • Hopkins is greater. With so many titles in each division it is easier to win belts. Plus Manny started boxing as a teenager. Armstrong being the champ in 3 divisions when there was only 8 is impressive.

  • Don't want to hate on Manny his achievements are still pretty spectacular just not as great as Bernard's.

  • Hopkins has fought the best out there throughout his whole career and even though Manny fought legitimate champions in the lighter divisions, the quality of his opponents in the heavier divisions is questionable e.g. cotto coming off a BIG tko and a questionable decision over clottey and fighting margacheato at a catchweight for a light middleweight belt. Bernard has been the underdog many times by choosing to fight younger opponents who are legitimate champions or contenders.

  • you should either drop more vids or rename the QOTW to QOTM

    months, that is

    I'd prefer the first choice

  • Pac's accomplishments are greater....especially after he goes to Heavyweight and KO's both of the Klitchko bros...j/k

  • and on another note, what i don't understand the most is..

why didn't hopkins take the random drug test??

i thought this was such a huge issue in boxing today? if its such a big issue with pacquiao how come hopkins never got defamed for it? HE REFUSED RANDOM TESTING TOO! and the way he reacted to pascals request was just strangely defensive.

even teddy didnt say shit about refusing to take it? smells like bullshit.

  • I dont get how this is a real question ragu.

pascal isn't even a real champ, he's an amateur who got a belt by default.

and they tried to fix both fights almost. favoring pascal's rabbit punches? and hopkins knocking him down 3 times in total, none were counted?

how does hopkins beat the record when he already beat the guy the year before?

he breaks foremans record in a rematch? pfff. a rematch fight doesn't beat what foreman did. foreman did the impoosible. hopkins got an easy target

  • @swiffstep I had Hopkins winning the first fight 115-112. So I understand where you're coming from. But how many times did Moorer hold the title again after he got KO'd by Foreman? And might Foreman got some gift decisions like the one against Alex Stewart? or Savarese?

  • Hopkins, cos pacquiao has been fighting easy opposition.

  • In 15 years... Manny Pacquiao will also break that achievement....duh.

  • @StylinAzn LOL! I just don't see that happening! :)

  • clearly the Pacman as he has beaten fighters like Sasakul, Barrera, JMM, Cotto, Hatton, and Margarito along the way to reaching his accomplishment while Hopkins beat Jean Pascal for his.

    So really, it's clearly Pac.

  • @philhaj2 What about RJJ? or Wright, Tarver, De La Hoya (way before Pacquiao), Trinidad or Glen Johnson?

  • @bigragu he lost to prime RJJ..lol

  • @bigragu what do those have to do with Hopkins being the oldest man to win a championship? The fighters I listed for PAcquiao are all fighters that Pac won his titles off of. I didn't count Oscar, Mosley, Morales... and if you're gonna count Glen Johnson you can add guys like Ledwaba, Clottey, Larios on Pac's list. Even Solis went on to win a title after Pac took his 0. I was just comparing their respective accomplishments 8 world titles vs oldest man to win a championship

  • @bigragu And Clearly Pacquaio was spoon fed the light middle weight title, just to make history when he had no intentions in defending it.

  • @philhaj2 You don't know your history. Hopkins has beaten some legendary fighters. It's too hard to tell.

  • @philhaj2 no fucking way Hopkins cleans pacman, he is a wiley old vet who never backs down from anyone, pac just fights cherry picked come forward fighters arum picks. I love pac but his legacy is being ruined by his promoter

  • @philhaj2 ur juzt A DAM PACTARD FOO...hopkins fought the better fighters and also at their peak

  • Yep darts. Phil Taylor and Martin Adams both 50. B-Hop above Manny all time P4P.

  • Why stress yourself? Both are great, both are different. Manny won these titles in his prime, Bernard is beating young warriors in their prime. In my view, Hopkins transents boxing and wins this debate

  • @chucknchar sounds good to me!

  • I'd say bernard hopkins, he was the undisputed middleweight champ for lyk 10 years and consistently defended it, then moves up beats a guy half his age to become the oldest world champ in boxing history. Pacquiao has never cleaned out his weight division, and has picked the weakest champ in his weight division to become the champ!!!

  • @dels323 excellent points!

  • @bigragu before you celebrate lets see if Hopkins can defend his title.

  • @bigragu Great fighters have come and gone. Look at Roy Jones Jr, Barrera in his day...among others. One man has outlasted everyone and consistently been at the top without ever getting ko'd or beat up. Hopkins is the man!

  • @bigragu your a joke. as if hopkins will win and defend his title.

  • @dels323 Actually Margarito wasn't even the champ. There will never be an easier way to win a belt at 154lb than beating a guy that's useless without illegal handwraps at a catchweight that didn't even hold the belt! His fans don't care though and the Philippines is probably at better place to live than when I was working there now that they have someone to look up to. Good luck to them!!

  • @dels323 Exactly.

  • Manny Pacquiao cuz he has won 8 different world titles, a Congressman, singer although not as great but people still love him even he sucks at it & acting as well. He is also a big accomplishment with many endorsers and a true sportsman, a loving father, and lover !!!

  • I would say "Manny Pacquiao" the man just proves time & time again with hardwork & dedication to his fans all over the world & esp his country. He has achieve that stardom status with singing, acting, boxing, & being a Congressman. Now that is far more achievable that no other boxer as ever done before !!

  • B-hop is fighting legit prime fighters and he's been out of his prime for at least 10 years. manny is hand picking fighters who "use" to be good or, hyped jobs. i think if b hop had the skill and knowledge he has at 47 back when he was 27 he'd be very dominate. manny because of how he fights wouldn't be good at 47

  • @adamskibobs and if Hopkins wasn't a "Racist" in your book?

  • It's not fair to compare them both, they both deserve their accomplishments... But I'm Not a fan of bhops dirty tactics...

  • @promilemac Look at both and give them credit. Works for me.

  • Hopkins just because the oppostion Pacman has faced recently is shit. Bhop fought a prime Pascal and won, but what Manny has done is awesome to.

  • Great video, you're in fine form right now, mate! I side with Hopkins by the thinnest of margins, and to be honest I think if he had Pacquiao's exciting style rather than his dour (but effective) one, more would share that opinion. Pac's wasted the last 18 months of his career, too. I think with so many titles and divisions, there are three or four fighters who could, if they went for it, match Pacquiao. But Hopkins is a freak of nature, not seen since Archie Moore in regards to defying age.

  • @iljn1988 just seemed like a question worthy of a good debate!

  • Hopkins all the way .at the age he did thats pretty impressive and he might still fight till he is 50 lol

  • Greater accomplishment? Pacquiao hands down! Because Pacquiao is an Asian man who manages to capture the attention in the US. Do you know how hard that was? Even the late Bruce Lee took 2 decades to be known in the US. He was already dead before they recognized his achievements. But Pacquiao is dominating the boxing today. He´s on the top of his game overpowering almost every boxers in and outside the ring.

  • @Salin0709 I don't know. With today's media outlets if you're good enough the world will see you.

  • @bigragu Nice to hear you have trust on today´s media. But unfortunately that is what we wanted to believe which is far from reality. There are hundreds of unknown great boxers in asia, in europe in middle east far better than we know here in the US but the media outlet supposed to help is no where to be found. There are lots of thing happening in the world which need to be exposed but the media are no thatt interested enough, coz the subject doesn´t interest their readers and audiences.

  • @bigragu

you have a point, but this is today's rules. before, fighters weighed in on the day of the fight. manny is really a small guy fighting all these other BIG guys. plus, even if you take all the 7th and 8th titles that he has, manny is still the only boxer who is credited with lineal championships in four different weight classes (flyweight, featherweight, junior lightweight, and junior welterweight. i think that weighs heavier than the 8 division champion.

  • @Toops144 yes i was about to go into details leaning towards MP. But like you i got to say, im glad to be in this life time to see both fighters. Enjoy it while it last.

  • B-Hop has the better resume'.Hands down.

  • Phil Taylor the darts player is 50 he has won 15 world championships, he has won some after the age of 46. Obviously that is a completly different achievement lol.

Is darts even a sport? I think so, a target sport.

  • i gotta say hopkins....but also pacquiao's accomplishments is very hard to achieve...moving up from 106 to 147 is inhuman....but i still think hopkins is different breed of fighter......i don't know if someone can top 46 years old....and be a champ

  • Will you be making a prediction video for Amir kahn vs Zab judah??

  • Umm i dont care im here in Atlantic City, you know what for babyyy!!!

Trying to get rid of this hangover ready for tonight. God i hope my seat is knowhere near Froch's missus Racheal Cordingley.

Where is your prediction on the fight, hmmmm? =)

  • @athleticguyUK Froch by UD. I believe his unortodox style will be enough to keep the older Johnson at bay. Not to mention Froch throws a lot more than Pascal!

  • @bigragu Pacquiao agree to all testing no cutoff. /watch?v=_vCT2BMQ424

  • You disappoint the floyd's fans.

How about 41-0? There were 41 challengers tried and 41 failed. What can you say about in greater accomplishment?

  • @007tubeless Rocky Marciano ended his career with 49-0.

  • @GiantSandles

marciano was fighting in heavyweight division only.

floyd has 5 different weight class as undisputed champ and perfect win record.

  • @007tubeless Well, if we disregard the DQ loss to Montell Griffin, you could say that Roy Jones has 49 victories from Middleweight to Heavyweight, with no real losses. Bear in mind that the jump to heavyweight is a lot more noteworthy.

  • @GiantSandles Not to mention that Floyd should have lost the first Castillo fight.

  • Get me right. Being the oldest champion is a great accomplishment. But hopkins has "just" been able to take good care of himself. Pacquaio has beeten the best, won titles in 8 different weight classes. In the future it will be easier for athors to achieve Hopkins' achievement just by landing a lucky punch and be elder than him. Pacquiaos achievement is far more difficult to achieve.

  • @bugattiveyron2200 lol faught the best? or faught walking punch bags at catch weights or fighters that had already been beaten by floyd?

  • HOPKINS WITHOUT A DOUBT..

  • Love Hopkins but im gonna have to go with Pacman

  • The question is a bit tricky. But If you meant greater accomplishment outside and inside boxing world, Pacquiao is a mile ahead. But if you meant boxing alone, I think both are, where Pacquiao is a bit ahead. Why? Because Pacquiao got so many recognitions from Phi/ US senators and Phil /US Presidents, he´s on the top of his game for so many years now, has been on the top dominating all his opponents, gaining 8 titles, big attraction, drawing power, not to mention beating lots of Hall of Famers.

  • As much as I love Manny, I'd have to agree with everyone else, B-Hop's achievement is greater.

  • He beat someone who is a fucking joke, come on Pascal didn't throw barely anything at him, he was a fucking joke and Pascal has not beat any top fighters, of course B Hop would beat him, old or not.

  • Hopkins!!!!! the pressups done it for me, hahahah!!! A showman!!!

  • Excellent question bigragu! :) I think there are so many different ways to compare those 2 boxers. Well, we compare the accomplishments here. So, why not compare Foreman's accomplishment with Pacquiao's instead? Both Hopkins and Foreman became champions past 45, so... If we compare this Foreman accomplishment to what Pac did in 8 different weight divisions, well, is Foreman's accomplishment is equal to Hopkins' and if so, are the people who chose Hopkins are ready to put Foreman in there too?

  • I'm gonna have to say b-hop's achievement is greater. The reason being is that he has not only won a world title but he has won a legitimate world title against a young, hungry champ in Jean Pascal. Manny won the super welterweight title at a catchweight against an opponent who was undeserved to get that fight. I love Manny but Hopkins achievement is by far superior.

  • bigragu u all way sing in your vid its funny but i like ittttttttt lol

  • Hopkins all dayyyyyyyyyyy

  • they are both up there in the top 50 greatest ever. but its common for fighters to fight on with age and all it requires is discipline and be able to adjust your style of bxing as you age..which jones failed at and hopkins succeeded at. but pacquioas freakish ability to go up in weight an beat the best in that weight and keep going up is something very rare indeed. i mean evander holyfield got robbed from valuev and would have been champion at like 49 or 50. bhop still is awsome

  • I have to say Hopkins' without a doubt. Manny Pacquiao was very carrefuly carried by Arum from Lightweight through Jr. Welter to Super Welter (Which was the biggest joke in recent years ! ). Dont get me wrong..Mannys great..but Hopkins is just one of a kind and he is his own man. Bob Arum would make a champ out of everybody. I respect Mannys accomplishmets...i just dont happen to like his fighting style and the way he got some of his titles.. ;-) Hopkins !!

  • @tuptugen Good examples to back up your opinion! Thanks!

  • @bigragu On the other hand, i have to give credit where its due. So..props to Arum for making the best out of Mannys potential. To bad, people are only looking at the 8 titles and not on the way that lead to them. Margarito shouldnt even fight nor get a chance to fight for the major title ! Cotto was damaged goods and was only USED as a title keeper, Hatton the same, David Diaz.,lot of heart but otherwise...eeh...i dont know..it just doesnt seem right :) But its my opinion :) Good vid ,Ragu !

  • @bigragu wow this is a very good question and video pacquiao has done very great things no doubt and is my favorite fighter but imma have to go with hopkins his 20 middleweight title defences and his great run at light heavyweight and his list of fighters he beat is something amazing.

  • Pac man was the better fight, but Hokins accomplishment is greater.

  • moving a division is always harder. even MMA fighters have said that. Bhop even said it's harder to move up/down a division because of how your body responds to the change. GSP - he has to be very careful move from one division to the next and if he does, he has to stay for a while until he's ready to move to the next.

  • @sourpus09 True, but If you look at the weight gain for the higher divisions there is a greater gap between the weights. from MW to LtHW there is an 18 pound gap.

  • @bigragu Good point

  • I've got to say Pacquiao, just because of the manner in which he did it.

Hopkins does whatever he can get away with to win. Manny doesn't rely on bending the rules, or boxing to a boring decision. Manny comes out there looking to knock you out and put on a show, something that Hopkins has never done.

I respect Hopkins, but when he fights Dawson I won't be buying the fight on PPV. It'll be a boring possibly close decision. I'd give my right arm to watch Manny. That pretty much says it all.

  • @shinypenny I can see where you're coming from on this one.

  • He's back!

  • Yes! I was wondering where you were!

  • @SugarInHisBlood LOL! Storms knock out my internet for a week and then I went out of town for memorial day weekend. Gonna start putting out a ton more vids now that school is out and Summer is here!

  • Hopkins of course.

  • @maju786 It's huge. The weight classes have changed but age always gets everyone in the end!

  • @bigragu Hopkins with out a doubt weight classes are so close to each other literally you can be a 140 pounder and fight at a catch weight for the 147 world title. Thats not really challenging..

  • @deathlord619 very true. back in the day you could have at least 15 lbs between the classes. thats 3-4 divisions now.
