They were told that once at their campsite, they would have to boil their own water. That means that there will be a source of water nearby. I don't think it was smart to empty to of the vessels because they'll probably consume a lot out there, but it wasn't that stupid to do.

Also, Just because its not tropial, doesn't mean there isn't plenty of food that can be found. You can survive 3 weeks without food, but 3 days without water.

@sora19ify Big Tom's great don't get me wrong but how does he compare to Ethan? Considering Jeff Probst is quoted as saying that no one has done as much good outside of Survivor as him. @diywhore Your right. A person will die ten times faster of dehydration then they will of starvation due to the fact that you can live for two to three months without that much food, while you can only live three to four days without water.

Come on its East Africa, the political climate is pretty uncertain , plus your driving through the bush, you dont know what youll run into. It seems everyone but the westerners are weary of what poverty will force you to do especially to a plump American or Brit, let alone what, the wildlife and weather will do.

Im from the country next door, and when ever we leave the city there is a healthy fear and reverence for tribal life, weather, and nature out in the bush. yeah. i agree. i mean ive been to africa, but i was like a tourist so that was cool. i think the heat would be murder. i would rather some island...with a beach of course :]]]] hehe
