I feed my 65 pound german shepherd 3 cups of food daily, and he is perfectly healthy.

its the best way to discipline dogs because now i know other ways to make them understand, but its certainly not animal cruelty, cause they have to understand some things are not to be touched and a slight scare and a tap in the muzzle arent goin to scar the dog for life, in fact my dogs are pretty much happy andy aside of that i have never had to discipline them in any way, they even sit and wait for their food, and i bet it works the same with that whip.
Maybe its not the best way to train (with a whip) but it works and it isnt animal cruelty, i have 8 dogs, and i have never hurt any one, however, they live in my backyard and at the beggining they used to mess up with my laundry, so, what i did was grabbing the piece they were playing with, said NO out loud and then gave them like a tap in the muzzle, did that 2 or 3 times with each dog (the ones i caught playing with my stuff and they dont do that anymore) Im not saying...
... but he's not beating the dogs, they respond to it because i bet they got hitted with it once or twice yet as a disciplinary method (im making conclusions yet i dont really know) and it works as a barrier, and for me thats fine, cause feeding 120 dogs isnt an easy task, and if those dogs didnt had any respect for the man with the whip that would be A TOTAL caos, look at their tails and their behaviour, those are perfectly happy dogs, they dont seem to have fear, dont be stupid please.

@MrLucRad I am appalled. If you trained to use a whip, you would hit yourself several times as it's unavoidable, and I still hit myself and it hurts like hell. I've never hit any one, nor animal. If I am really using my whip, I make sure that I am out of range of anyone. This guy is using a very light whip and is not even speeding it up to speeds that would hurt. The dogs would be cowering if they were ever hit once by a whip. Please do a little research before making such inflammatory comments.

@valicty Why??? Its obvious these many dogs are cared for and have amazing discipline. He did not hit ONE dog and they all waited patiently for their reward is absolutely incredible. Why is this in ANY way horrific?? you know whats horrific? starved, uncared for, abused animals. All these dogs look completely healthy and have a stern and loving owner.

They're not being whipped, dumbasses. The whip is used for visual cues for the dogs. Do you think that one man with a little stick whip would be able to hold back 120 hunger-frenzied dogs, just because he had a whip? No, I don't think so. The dogs are trained with the visual and vocal cues given by the man. To them, he represents structure, and dogs, especially in large groups such as this, actually seek out and thrive on this kind of directed structure.

@Toobulations They will already had a whiplash before. They know how much pain that is. I think this is not good for the dogs. Only for the hunting.

@TheWhiteandproud You don't whip them, you dangle the whip in front of them so that they stay away from you. I.e. You're sitting on your beast of a hunter and you don't want it to kick or trample on a hound if it gets too near it, you have the whip dangling from your saddle.

@Reikk8 what are you on about!? Hounds are fed a great quantity of meat daily. They are adored by the huntsmen and are kept wonderfully. These are not dogs... or pets they are hunting animals. Look at the condition of them, do they look neglected!? No, they look great, clean and shiny and well fed. Contented animals.

its the best way to discipline dogs because now i know other ways to make them understand, but its certainly not animal cruelty, cause they have to understand some things are not to be touched and a slight scare and a tap in the muzzle arent goin to scar the dog for life, in fact my dogs are pretty much happy andy aside of that i have never had to discipline them in any way, they even sit and wait for their food, and i bet it works the same with that whip.

Maybe its not the best way to train (with a whip) but it works and it isnt animal cruelty, i have 8 dogs, and i have never hurt any one, however, they live in my backyard and at the beggining they used to mess up with my laundry, so, what i did was grabbing the piece they were playing with, said NO out loud and then gave them like a tap in the muzzle, did that 2 or 3 times with each dog (the ones i caught playing with my stuff and they dont do that anymore) Im not saying...

... but he's not beating the dogs, they respond to it because i bet they got hitted with it once or twice yet as a disciplinary method (im making conclusions yet i dont really know) and it works as a barrier, and for me thats fine, cause feeding 120 dogs isnt an easy task, and if those dogs didnt had any respect for the man with the whip that would be A TOTAL caos, look at their tails and their behaviour, those are perfectly happy dogs, they dont seem to have fear, dont be stupid please.

The ones saying these dogs are being hurt are ignorants, i mean for real, how can someone confuse discipline with animal cruelty? Im a dog lover and work at an animal shelter, and this doesnt seem like animal cruelty at all...at the contrary, those dogs are so well feed, so well trained and they all look so balanced that its hard for me to understand how does your logic work, the guy's using a wip YES....(continues)

@MrLucRad I am appalled. If you trained to use a whip, you would hit yourself several times as it's unavoidable, and I still hit myself and it hurts like hell. I've never hit any one, nor animal. If I am really using my whip, I make sure that I am out of range of anyone. This guy is using a very light whip and is not even speeding it up to speeds that would hurt. The dogs would be cowering if they were ever hit once by a whip. Please do a little research before making such inflammatory comments.
