Just to explain: we didn't actually need to stay out in all weathers to get our film clips, as we had installed webcameras linked to 24hr video recording. The hard part was reviewing the film footage to find the interesting bits! We just fast-forwarded 5 minutes at a time, almost every day for a 3 month period. At least we were dry.
Hi Kilwinnie. You thnk that's slow and boring? You should have been with me as I reviewed nearly every day's video recording since last March by skipping forwards in 5 minute intervals. I'm both sad and mad! But seriously, the birds don't perceive the loud bells as a threat, so they're simply ignored. Whereas a passing helicopter or human on the roof causes severe consternation, and loud alarm calls.
wow kl bit slow and borin at the start tho nice 2 c that rare wildlife can live in the middle of a city, how can they cope with the cathedral bell's noise tho, r they born death or somethin? hope they eat all the rats and pidgeons for years 2 come...
Fantastic! I really hope they do well ! :)
