Presumably this relation was over, when it's emerged that Elizabeth got pregnant again. She (E) was smart, because William just wanted to leave her (William also talked about this in public that he's separeting from her) and then cames the news that E. get pregnant again...

So 'El Triunfo del Amor' is very similar to their true story.
