It's one thing when I invite a student to attend BYCC or the Pilgrimage, but it's far more appealing if a young person invites you. Advertise through FB, Twitter, Youtube. But have High schoolers advertise them. Have them give witness talks, tell personal stories of how Christ has changed them through these events. Maybe offer high school or college summer internships.

In order to actively engage our students and be 'relevant' to them, we must be aware of the positive aspects of the internet and social networking sites. Our students will quickly outrun us because information is so easy to obtain now. Overall, I believe that the best teaching tool is personal witness and we struggle with inconsistencies in our adult 'witnesses'.
