  • Very entertaining, just started watching your videos. I was looking through my old video games and noticed that there were a few Atari games that Locked when stacked. Ya, it was the Activision 2600 games. I'm sure you have a few.

  • beep beep beep lol

  • BEEP BEEP

  • i bet you had more fun with the actual cartridges then with the game itself when you were a kid :D haha you so awsome

  • Thumbs up! Great video!! Congratulations!

  • You totally missed out on the most cool thing possible to do with the O2 cartridges. The Cartridge Star. I forget how many it takes, but set two stacked cartridges on edge. Next, pinch the handles together, then add a third cartridge. Keep adding cartridges until you fill the complete circle. The right number of them fit perfectly. Can't do anything like that with any other console's cartridges.

  • This guy is like the boy who never grew up

He is reviewing the cartdridges as if he is still 9 and they just came out last week

  • @MrCorndogEater ROFL!

  • how do you get all these consoles

  • @TheCollinsd1 They are probably just donated or bought of ebay or something like that.

  • @TheCollinsd1 He buys some but most of the time there donated

  • love the music

  • It monster truck madness with the magnovox

  • D'awwwww!! Beepbeep! Stella luvs Magnavox Odyssey 2 carts!

  • Did anyone else read the description and notice that it lists the PS3 and Playstation 3 as two different consoles?

  • I hate when my hands are covered with butter after a long day of gameing.

  • Whew.. When I saw the youtube advertisement showing two seals fighting for an upcoming animal planet for some reason I got mad and logged in to neg this. Glad I stuck with it..

  • heh the design is doggie proof even

  • Seriously dude, where the f*** do you get your ideas from?! Is it the result of a superior intellect? Do you suffer from random moments of shizopheria and demensia and your alter ego takes over as you write scripts for your next piece and then all the sudden black out and have no recolection of whatever it is you wrote and then read it and say "I have the next show!" Or do you just get super duper high? What is your muse? Where does the inspiration come from?

  • wow pretty epic video about cartridges!

  • I LOVE THAT RACING GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wanna play online lol

  • no shit... jesus... you guys are thick.

  • This is one of the funniest video review I have seen!

You should wash your hands before touching Atari 2600 and its cartridges, because they are sacred and holy. Atari does not appreciate being soiled with butter!

  • Is the O2 worth getting?

  • are you just fucking retarded? who the fuck has ever had trouble taking a 2600 game out of the console? you must have spent hours trying to remove a nintendo 64 game..

  • @Waxxumus its just a joke

  • @Waxxumus Idiot!!!

  • I love the snapping sound it makes when you put the cartridge into slot

  • I saw you, dawg. I can see your plans. You plan to take over that beep, don't you? Don't beg at me, dog. I see you coming.

  • Oooh geez I hope I still have this somewhat childish sense of humor like you when I turn 30 or so

  • Oh no that dog almost proved you wrong. I saw that top game move.

  • what would you say if you had the original magnavox odyssey?

  • #LOL give him some cartridges and he is happy

  • love that you're playing with cartridges :D GIANT TRUCK BEEBEEB!! :D

  • How the heck are you married dude?

  • ford or gm should really look into making cars that look like a stack of odyssey cartrages

  • LOL @ driving the cartridges!

  • lol I never had a problem changing 2600 carts lmao were you eating popcorn at all times?

  • Hard too pull a cartridge out you wimp

  • i would wear it as a chain

  • Our game containers today don't have that. Such a shame.

When the power's out I could reenact Mad Max using the video game cases!

  • I just bought an Odysey2 game called "Atlantis" and it does not have a handle. I can't find any of this game for sale anywhere... is it rare?

  • @AlecParkour Yeah.. They sell for around 70$

  • OMG! You acted just like I did when I saw 3 Odyssey 2 cartridges, VROOOOM!

  • whats the name of the game at 1.04 on the bottom stack and did you do A review of it?

  • Your dog almost foiled you at the end there lol

  • When I was a kid (some 25 years ago *g*) I used to have a "Philips Videopac G7400 +", which was more or less an Odyssee 2 (in Germany it was sold as an "Videopac G7000" or - the simply modified console, a "Videopac G7400+" with attachable Controllers and a real power-button on the upper left side. Btw. it was told the graphics had been improved... but I've never had these special games. It was kinda hard to even get these normal Videopac-Cardrigdes... since there were just a few available.

  • Do anyone know how to donate a game cause im thinking about to donate a game for classic game room

  • @ultramops - Just send him a message asking whether he already has the game, and if he doesn't, send it!

  • thx alot

  • vroooooooom beep beep, that made my day

  • your dog was like oooooo! wat is dat?!!?

    1:43

  • wow it sure it hard to pull out a atari 2600 cartridge, got to have a handle. *fasepalm*

  • Man, when Atari made the Jaguar, they just took all the bad things from failed competitors and slapped them into one.

The "handles", the numeric keypads, etc...

  • "Maybe your hands are covered in butter"... good thing I didn't take that drink of water.

  • That's brilliant! =) Handles for cartridges.

  • watch avgn if you like this, and I liked this.

  • yo man does anyone no this game system where the controllers are like remotes and you gotta slide this like see thru card thing into it, its really old i used to play it when i was lil but noone i no can remember what it was called

  • Intellevision, it had a numpad, and you had to slide an overlay over the keypad in order to see what each button did.

I'm pretty sure that's right, anyways.

  • You must be thinking of the Intellivision or Colecovision

  • gotta say the odyssey 2 is a significant upgrade from the original

  • The specific music in each review is always in context orientation with the time period at which release date.

  • haha LOL! "And you can also wear this on your belt"! hah awesome...imagine how that would look like xD

  • "Hands covered in butter"?

The "beep beep!" bit was hilarious ^_^

  • omg those handles look SO useful! P.S. gotta watch em' all!!

  • cool dog!

  • I sure love the CGR dog :]

  • hard to see, but I agree

  • I was not aware that it was a problem not being able to pull out a cartridge from a system, but then again, I grew up with the C64, and had other issues. Like loading time and rewinding tapes.

  • one thing NO END LABELS!

  • You know is not big the diference, even if the cartrige are smaller you should be able to pul it out easy i think.I dont tell that magnavox do a bad job but the diference is small,Say!! do you have some magnavox 2 games to presend to us??

  • "...maybe your hands are covered in butter..."

How? Why? When? It amuses me so!

  • you cant compare cgrhd with the avgn

  • Im pretty sure this guy reviews good games, as AVGN's gig is to review shit games and make people laugh like hell.

  • i just bought an odyssey2 plus 9 games for 14 dollars today

  • the odyssey don't have blu-ray?

  • My God, you really enjoy your work.

    Love the channel.

  • The only way they could make these Cartridges any more fun is if they could look into each other like Legos.

    Think about it!

  • I love the suddenly ADR'd giant truck comment.

  • Hands covered in butter? Just what the heck were you doing in your childhood playing these games?

By the way your dog thinks you are crazy.

  • Using one hand to play games and with the other one you eat sandwiches... :D

  • Wouldn't you need one hand to hold the console down while you pull out the cart with the other?

  • Comment removed

  • You can use your feet for that. Human is designed for eating and being entertained at the same time! :)

  • Which explains why we got so many fat kids theses days.

  • Totally! Damn that god for making a mistake of letting us eat while we play games!

  • haha only on classic game room sucka!!! Do you see reviews like this.

  • Did people take this the wrong way? Great original reviews like this won't be found anywhere else.

  • mgnavoz tought everything didnt they

  • "grab a beer and let's go see, Classic Game Room HD"

  • But the Magnavox Odyssey 2 cartidges don't have end labels :(

  • Yeah, I was wondering about that. They tried, but without end labels stacking fails.

  • hahahahhahaha if your hands are covered in butter

  • If you copyright your video back in 2000, you don't have to keep recompositing the next year on each video. A copyright has a life span of 50 years. So you're still good. I noticed on one of your vids the 8 looked superimposed like a re-edit.

  • That's a sharp eye. The original videos from 99-2000 are copyright 2000, the new ones are new. But we sloppy-superimpose the 8 over an animation for the new ones. -CGRHD

  • @hootyhaha so i gotta wait till 2013 to download william hartell's dr who leagly

  • The Magnavox O2 carts, Mark tested, Stella approved! :D

  • but here's the problem. if you were to line up the cartridges up on a shelf, wouldn't you have to take all of them out just to get on game?

  • If I ever track down some Odyssey 2 games, I'm totally going to start wearing them on my belt. The ladies won't be able to resist the allure of K.C. Munchkin!

  • Best cartridge design ever.

  • Ha, but they can slide sideways. You fail Magnavox (hehe).

  • Beep beep.

  • Beep Beep. Magnavox truck coming through!

  • Dog was like "Wtf?"

  • @InecomCompany why dont you answer comments anymore also i had difficulty joining the cgr fourms

  • i love your dog.funny ^^

  • Awesome, those cartridges look freaking sweet.

  • hehe its strange like a little handle is considered revolutionary in atari games. lol

haha the giant truck of magna box odyssey 2 crtidges

    *70's funk* lol
