Thanks for your polite comment vicnemo. Well yes you are right the Dr usually is pretty hungry. Not sure who you are listening to but NetApp has shipped over 15,000 deduplication systems to over 3,000 customers within the past year or so. You really should visit the the Dr more often.
Dear Doctor, we both know that your numbers are a total fabrication. NetApp had zero customers using dedupe one day, then they shipped out a free license to use dedupe to all customers and claimed 3000 customers then next day. Just cuz your give someone a license doesn't mean they are using it.

Dr. Dedupe must be really hungry. NetApp announced dedupe in July 2007, but they have yet to ship it. Maybe Dr. Dedupe will get to eat his yogurt when hell freezes over, the same time NetApp ships their product.
netapp is cool dr. dedup needs some cool aid.

Why does every dedupe customer need 5 systems? Don't the first 4 work? Or maybe they don't dedupe enough?
