@1buckdawg High class people converse just like you do. Been to any toastmaster seminars when not losing vast sums of money in your couch? It shows, pal.
There's a huge difference between football in OH and in PA. Braxton went up against much better competition not to mention that all the Osu coaches said he's much more developed as a quarterback now than when TP was as a freshman.
"Even if he did have better mechanics (which he doesn't*)"
*this statement alone shows you know nothing about football - any recruiting, coach, nfl scout, or average football fan can tell you that Braxton has much better mechanics.... it's not even close... true he hasn't proved anything... but that statement was ridiculous... if you know football.
It will be Braxton Miller... He is the future leader of this team, if anyone can win those first 5 games, it is him because he has the most upside. And even if they do lose, they will still have a young QB with some big game experience so its nothing new for the 2012 season.
I think its going to be Braxton Miller because his ability to get out of the pocket better than Bauserman ,and not take sacks like Bauserman....Miller reminds me of Pryor in his early years
maybe a better passer, but nowhere near the runner. doesn't have the top end speed and dances around too much. gonna be interesting to see who the coaching staff choose to go with. I hope it's not bauserman!
@MSJsetter13 I always thought Pryor went down too easily in the open field for a 6'6 240 lb guy. I agree that Miller doesn't have the top end speed Pryor does but he might have a better first step which is more important.
@iweartophots oh yea hes a way more polished passer than pryor. if pryor had his QB skill sets out of HS we would be celebrating being National Champs instead of Sugarbowl Champs
@jmateen1 He's a way more polished passer than Pryor? Lol last time I checked Braxton Miller on completed 54% of his passes at the high school level. Pryor on the other hand completed 65% of his passes at an entirely different level of football.
@Billygizzle08 are you serious!!?? miller's mechanics were way better than pryors comin out of HS! if pryor came in to OSU with the mechanics miller has now, we wud be back to back NCs right now bud. the percntage only tells how many passes the WRs dropped. pryor had better recievers in HS man. no dis to you or pryor we are all buckeyes i assume, miller's mechanics are better than pryor's if u compare thier 1st spring games.
@jmateen1 HAHAHA we would be back to back NC's if Pryor had Miller's mechanics? Even if he did have better mechanics (which he doesn't) you don't win games on mechanics alone. Miller has proved nothing. Sure there's hype around him and he's a highly touted recruit but you're basing a player's skills on what he did in the spring game alone? Miller wasn't even going against the 1st string defense! Again Miller only completed 54% of his passes in HS and he had great WR's at Huber Heights
@Billygizzle08 you just dnt get it do you? you must not be a student of the game of football. go watch pryors HS highlights and count how many times he runs compared to passing. do the same for miller. miller has obviously thrown more passes than pryor did in HS, thus more drops and a lower completion percentage. my argument is about their QB assets out of HS not who done what in college, in which miller has the edge.
@jmateen1 I guess we'll see won't we? My bet is Miller won't have nearly as much success as Pryor. Whether Miller has "better mechanics" or not, Pryor was the more accurate passer who had way more yards per pass attempt. Would that not be enough to make Pryor the superior passer at that level? I highly doubt Miller will complete 65% of his passes in his Junior year at Ohio State like Pryor did.
@Billygizzle08 ok. its clear how much of a dummy you are now. cuz you would know, better mechanics means more accurate passes and more accurate passes mean more catches. he even makes better decisions than pryor did his Fr year. hes not believin in all they hype as pryor ADMITTED to doin his 1st year on campus. any person who knows anything bout football can see that Miller is a future star at OSU.
@jmateen1 Ok it's clear how much of a dummy you are now because you would know that whoever has the better completion percentage is the superior passer. Miller was a mediocre passer at very best during his senior season going just 86/167 (51.5%) with 923 yds. (5.5 yards per attempt) 9 TD's and 6 INT's. Pryor on the other hand was 39/57 (68.4%) with 900 yds. (15.7 yards per attempt) 8 TD's and 2 INT's. Get back at me when Miller completes more than 55% of his passes (Pryor was 60.6% as a Fr)
@Billygizzle08 your comparing college stats to HS stats?? why would he work hard his senior season he already had a scholarhship to osu. thats like takin more classes after u got enough to graduate with. your a dumbass. but your really hatin on the future of the buckeyes tho? so if miller completes 70 % of his passes next season your gonna hate his guts and never reply to shit i send to you cuz you lil pride will not exist. stupid little shit! im done with you.
@jmateen1 Lmao "college stats to HS stats"? I was comparing Pryor's senior season of HS to Miller's. So who's the dumbass? You're the one who keeps making excuses as to why Miller wasn't as accurate as Pryor. "Dropped passes" and him not working hard because "he already had a scholarship to OSU" And I hope Miller does find great success at OSU. If he has a high completion percentage next year I would be ecstatic. I simply pointed out the fact that Pryor was a better passer coming out of HS
@Billygizzle08 like i said before, go look at the tapes from their HS careers, and go find out for yourself that pryor ran the majority of them time, while miller passes a whole lot more. he makes the decisions his senior year in HS that pryior is just now makin his junior yr in college. so once again your the dumbass. you know shit about the game of football "Braxton Miller on completed 54% of his passes at the high school level. Pryor on the other hand completed 65% in college" lmao dumbass
@jmateen1 Wow you have to be one of the most retarded Buckeye fans I've ever dealt with! Even though Pryor didn't pass as much he STILL almost had just as many yards passing as Miller did and he had a WAY BETTER completion percentage! What else does he need in order to be considered a better passer? Good press? The fact that Miller passed the ball more has nothing to do with how accurate his arm is. When Miller actually proves something then you can call me a dumbass. Until then Pryor > Miller
@Billygizzle08 the fact that he passed the ball more means there are more drops, bad passes, u kno things that will lower in completion% dumbass. im still gonna call u a dumbass till u provide better arguments, you sound like 10 year old and u look 40 on your profile pic. your such a dumbass, you dumbass
@Billygizzle08 lol i cnt grasp stats? and you can?? who cares how i freakin type a youtube comment. shit aint english class. your just tryna start a completely irrelevant argument cuz you dnt kno shit about football. gtfo wit yo pedo lookin ass rotfl!!
@jmateen1 Dude lol I'm done arguing with someone who's only argument (which isn't intelligent at all) consists of shit talking. Btw the players that threw the most passes in the NCAA last year (Taylor Potts, Bryant Moniz, and Landry Jones) completed a combined 65.5% of their passes, and the players that threw the most in the NFL (Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan) completed a combined 65.8% of their passes. So don't give me that "more drops, bad passes" & "lower in completion%"
@Billygizzle08 once again your comparing stats of a HS star to those of college starters and NFL PROBOWLERS. where the talent of their WRs are way higher than miller's. ive brought nothin but common sense facts to the table guy. with a lil insult to you in between. a HS qb will only throw teh ball 20-25x a gm, while college and pros 30-40x agame, witht them bein more skilled and developed. your argument has no relevance once again guy. guess again. #FailureAtLife
@jmateen1 Point is Braxton Miller will most likely not be as good as Pryor. I would love if he was but realistically speaking with Pryor we're talking about the greatest athlete and maybe (when he's done with his career comes to a close) the most accomplished player behind the center in Ohio State history. No doubt Miller's the QB of Ohio State's future but I can almost guarantee he won't have as much success as Pryor. That includes the pass game and the rush game combined.
@Billygizzle08 if pryor doenst end this season with a NC and miller gets one or even goes undefeated after pryor leaves, a lot of fans are gonna see him as better than pryor, i agree he wont be as dominant physically TP, but i can see miller being like another tyrod taylor type player, pocketpasser who just so happens to run a 4.4-4.3
@Billygizzle08 First of all. Millers arm is already better than Pryors. Secondly, remember how the Pudue game was an eye-opener for Pryor, and he became a passing quarterback who ran occaionally??? Miller is already like that. That was his style at Wayne. I live in West Carrollton and my dad always drove me up to watch the Wayne home games. Braxton Miler is already a bette quarterback than Pryor. Hes just not a better College Quarterback yet.
@brock71wc Again, what makes Miller's arm better than Pryor's? The fact that he had a way worse completion percentage and a worse INT/TD ratio than Pryor in HS? And of the 15 games Wayne played the only games me and my cousin missed was the Seneca, Centerville, Xenia, St. Xavier and St. Edward games. Miller consistently overthrew the long ball and struggled to hit his WR's in stride. Not only that, Pryor was a better decision maker in terms of knowing when to tuck and run the ball.
Come on. Miller could've been an absolute superstar too playing in Ohio D3 (equivalent to the competition level Pryor played in PA). We saw what a superstar Justin Zwick was in Ohio D3 and he didnt do crap at OSU. Instead Miller was facing Ohio D1 playing NATIONALLY ranked HS teams. Is Miller the athlete Pryor is? No. But passing wise, I don't think theres a comparison with Miller dominating overall.
And don't make me ROFL about Pryor being a better decision maker. Please explain to me then why decision making is what is making all these experts predict Pryor as a TIGHT END or WR next NFL season. You miss that? You must've also missed Jon Gruden and another former NFL guy ALREADY raving about Millers arm & his potential as a QB without playing a down of college FB.
@jjwilson3345 1st, I said Pryor was a better decision maker in terms of knowing when to run the ball. 2nd, TP won't play WR or TE in the NFL.He will be drafted as a QB & will compete for a starting job as a QB just as he has his whole life. Remember him starting over a guy who lead OSU to the NC just 4 games into his CFB career? And regardless of what people have said while "raving about" about Miller's arm no one knows if he'll be better until he actually proves it. Get at me when he does!
@Billygizzle08 Pryor wil never be the best Qb at Ohio State. I hear that 20 times a day how Pryor was a heisman and the greatest QB who ever went to Osu. That is bullcrap. Pryor is a hell of a QB. But he isnt the best. Thats for damn sure. Braxton Miller is better than TP because he is Smart. Braxton Miller looks like Jordan during interviews. He is the calmest, humblest guy off the field. On it he is smart and has a great arm. And he has a better short pass than TP is HS.
@brock71wc Never once did I say that Pryor was the greatest QB who ever went to Ohio State but there's no denying that he was one of the most successful (had the 2010 season not been vacated). Pryor was 31-4 as a 3 year starter and was the MVP of back to back BCS bowls. As far as Ohio State QB's goes, Miller isn't better than Pryor yet until he actually proves something. At the end of his Ohio State career (not before it begins) is when you should evaluate who the better Ohio State QB is.
@Billygizzle08 My point is. Braxton Miller is a great Qb and already a better passer than Pryor. And Pryor was over rated. I am a giant buckeye fan, and I can say that with confidence. Miller will have a better Freshman season than Pryor. Because Pryor shined the most as a Qb when he stayed in the pocket and passed confidently. In stead of taking off out of the pocket like in his freshman year. Miller will have a better freshman year and a Better overall career at Ohio State. Go Bucks.
@brock71wc Those are very bold statements that I hope will come true as a Buckeye fan but just remember Miller has some very big shoes to fill. All predictions aside, we'll see what happens! 35 days until the season kicks off! GO BUCKS!!!

@noezzi Too bad your team isn't.

"Even if he did have better mechanics (which he doesn't*)"
*this statement alone shows you know nothing about football - any recruiting, coach, nfl scout, or average football fan can tell you that Braxton has much better mechanics.... it's not even close... true he hasn't proved anything... but that statement was ridiculous... if you know football.
witster18 9 months ago
@witster18 thank you!! that dumbass doesnt know shit about football! period! ROTFL!!!

Listening to this makes me feel like Apollo Creed just died, and then watching these quarterbacks makes me think Terrelle Pryor is Apollo Creed.

bauserman sucks
Doubleshot98 9 months ago
It will be Braxton Miller... He is the future leader of this team, if anyone can win those first 5 games, it is him because he has the most upside. And even if they do lose, they will still have a young QB with some big game experience so its nothing new for the 2012 season.
MrSaintsballer 9 months ago
Braxton miller baby... Fuck bauserman he throws side arm and he's white and can't run
07scraven 9 months ago
@07scraven Pretty sure being white has nothing to do with anything
Dmystah 9 months ago
if braxton would have gotten that spin off at 4:10 i would have pissed my pants for every defense he will face in his career
jmateen1 10 months ago
I think its going to be Braxton Miller because his ability to get out of the pocket better than Bauserman ,and not take sacks like Bauserman....Miller reminds me of Pryor in his early years
nicholasmoore74 10 months ago
@nicholasmoore74 i think bauserman starts the first 2 games with miller gettin a lot of snaps and by the mia game its braxtn as the starting QB

Graham and Miller have fucking cannons.
This may be the best D in the country if they can stay healthy, especially the DB's and Moeller.

PS... what's with the music selection?!
MSJsetter13 10 months ago
maybe a better passer, but nowhere near the runner. doesn't have the top end speed and dances around too much. gonna be interesting to see who the coaching staff choose to go with. I hope it's not bauserman!
MSJsetter13 10 months ago
@MSJsetter13 I always thought Pryor went down too easily in the open field for a 6'6 240 lb guy. I agree that Miller doesn't have the top end speed Pryor does but he might have a better first step which is more important.
iweartophots 10 months ago
@iweartophots
He does that on purpose to not get injured. People are constantly trying to take out his knees. It's not a matter of toughness or strength.
RequiemForABuckeye 10 months ago
Miller already looks like a better passer than Pryor
iweartophots 10 months ago
@iweartophots oh yea hes a way more polished passer than pryor. if pryor had his QB skill sets out of HS we would be celebrating being National Champs instead of Sugarbowl Champs
jmateen1 10 months ago
@jmateen1 He's a way more polished passer than Pryor? Lol last time I checked Braxton Miller on completed 54% of his passes at the high school level. Pryor on the other hand completed 65% of his passes at an entirely different level of football.
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 are you serious!!?? miller's mechanics were way better than pryors comin out of HS! if pryor came in to OSU with the mechanics miller has now, we wud be back to back NCs right now bud. the percntage only tells how many passes the WRs dropped. pryor had better recievers in HS man. no dis to you or pryor we are all buckeyes i assume, miller's mechanics are better than pryor's if u compare thier 1st spring games.
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 HAHAHA we would be back to back NC's if Pryor had Miller's mechanics? Even if he did have better mechanics (which he doesn't) you don't win games on mechanics alone. Miller has proved nothing. Sure there's hype around him and he's a highly touted recruit but you're basing a player's skills on what he did in the spring game alone? Miller wasn't even going against the 1st string defense! Again Miller only completed 54% of his passes in HS and he had great WR's at Huber Heights
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 you just dnt get it do you? you must not be a student of the game of football. go watch pryors HS highlights and count how many times he runs compared to passing. do the same for miller. miller has obviously thrown more passes than pryor did in HS, thus more drops and a lower completion percentage. my argument is about their QB assets out of HS not who done what in college, in which miller has the edge.
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 I guess we'll see won't we? My bet is Miller won't have nearly as much success as Pryor. Whether Miller has "better mechanics" or not, Pryor was the more accurate passer who had way more yards per pass attempt. Would that not be enough to make Pryor the superior passer at that level? I highly doubt Miller will complete 65% of his passes in his Junior year at Ohio State like Pryor did.
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 ok. its clear how much of a dummy you are now. cuz you would know, better mechanics means more accurate passes and more accurate passes mean more catches. he even makes better decisions than pryor did his Fr year. hes not believin in all they hype as pryor ADMITTED to doin his 1st year on campus. any person who knows anything bout football can see that Miller is a future star at OSU.
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 and another thing dummy. look at 4:18-21 and check the precision of the passin td. pryor did NOT do this his freshman year.
jmateen1 9 months ago
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 your comparing college stats to HS stats?? why would he work hard his senior season he already had a scholarhship to osu. thats like takin more classes after u got enough to graduate with. your a dumbass. but your really hatin on the future of the buckeyes tho? so if miller completes 70 % of his passes next season your gonna hate his guts and never reply to shit i send to you cuz you lil pride will not exist. stupid little shit! im done with you.
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 Lmao "college stats to HS stats"? I was comparing Pryor's senior season of HS to Miller's. So who's the dumbass? You're the one who keeps making excuses as to why Miller wasn't as accurate as Pryor. "Dropped passes" and him not working hard because "he already had a scholarship to OSU" And I hope Miller does find great success at OSU. If he has a high completion percentage next year I would be ecstatic. I simply pointed out the fact that Pryor was a better passer coming out of HS
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 like i said before, go look at the tapes from their HS careers, and go find out for yourself that pryor ran the majority of them time, while miller passes a whole lot more. he makes the decisions his senior year in HS that pryior is just now makin his junior yr in college. so once again your the dumbass. you know shit about the game of football "Braxton Miller on completed 54% of his passes at the high school level. Pryor on the other hand completed 65% in college" lmao dumbass
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 Wow you have to be one of the most retarded Buckeye fans I've ever dealt with! Even though Pryor didn't pass as much he STILL almost had just as many yards passing as Miller did and he had a WAY BETTER completion percentage! What else does he need in order to be considered a better passer? Good press? The fact that Miller passed the ball more has nothing to do with how accurate his arm is. When Miller actually proves something then you can call me a dumbass. Until then Pryor > Miller
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 the fact that he passed the ball more means there are more drops, bad passes, u kno things that will lower in completion% dumbass. im still gonna call u a dumbass till u provide better arguments, you sound like 10 year old and u look 40 on your profile pic. your such a dumbass, you dumbass
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 Lol this is all hilarious coming from a grammatically impaired, excuse maker who can't grasp statistical facts.
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 lol i cnt grasp stats? and you can?? who cares how i freakin type a youtube comment. shit aint english class. your just tryna start a completely irrelevant argument cuz you dnt kno shit about football. gtfo wit yo pedo lookin ass rotfl!!
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 Dude lol I'm done arguing with someone who's only argument (which isn't intelligent at all) consists of shit talking. Btw the players that threw the most passes in the NCAA last year (Taylor Potts, Bryant Moniz, and Landry Jones) completed a combined 65.5% of their passes, and the players that threw the most in the NFL (Drew Brees, Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan) completed a combined 65.8% of their passes. So don't give me that "more drops, bad passes" & "lower in completion%"
TP > BM
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 once again your comparing stats of a HS star to those of college starters and NFL PROBOWLERS. where the talent of their WRs are way higher than miller's. ive brought nothin but common sense facts to the table guy. with a lil insult to you in between. a HS qb will only throw teh ball 20-25x a gm, while college and pros 30-40x agame, witht them bein more skilled and developed. your argument has no relevance once again guy. guess again. #FailureAtLife
jmateen1 9 months ago
@jmateen1 Point is Braxton Miller will most likely not be as good as Pryor. I would love if he was but realistically speaking with Pryor we're talking about the greatest athlete and maybe (when he's done with his career comes to a close) the most accomplished player behind the center in Ohio State history. No doubt Miller's the QB of Ohio State's future but I can almost guarantee he won't have as much success as Pryor. That includes the pass game and the rush game combined.
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 if pryor doenst end this season with a NC and miller gets one or even goes undefeated after pryor leaves, a lot of fans are gonna see him as better than pryor, i agree he wont be as dominant physically TP, but i can see miller being like another tyrod taylor type player, pocketpasser who just so happens to run a 4.4-4.3
jmateen1 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08 First of all. Millers arm is already better than Pryors. Secondly, remember how the Pudue game was an eye-opener for Pryor, and he became a passing quarterback who ran occaionally??? Miller is already like that. That was his style at Wayne. I live in West Carrollton and my dad always drove me up to watch the Wayne home games. Braxton Miler is already a bette quarterback than Pryor. Hes just not a better College Quarterback yet.
brock71wc 9 months ago
@brock71wc Again, what makes Miller's arm better than Pryor's? The fact that he had a way worse completion percentage and a worse INT/TD ratio than Pryor in HS? And of the 15 games Wayne played the only games me and my cousin missed was the Seneca, Centerville, Xenia, St. Xavier and St. Edward games. Miller consistently overthrew the long ball and struggled to hit his WR's in stride. Not only that, Pryor was a better decision maker in terms of knowing when to tuck and run the ball.
Billygizzle08 9 months ago
@Billygizzle08
No. But passing wise, I don't think theres a comparison with Miller dominating overall.
jjwilson3345 8 months ago
@Billygizzle08
And don't make me ROFL about Pryor being a better decision maker. Please explain to me then why decision making is what is making all these experts predict Pryor as a TIGHT END or WR next NFL season. You miss that? You must've also missed Jon Gruden and another former NFL guy ALREADY raving about Millers arm & his potential as a QB without playing a down of college FB.
jjwilson3345 8 months ago
@jjwilson3345 1st, I said Pryor was a better decision maker in terms of knowing when to run the ball. 2nd, TP won't play WR or TE in the NFL.He will be drafted as a QB & will compete for a starting job as a QB just as he has his whole life. Remember him starting over a guy who lead OSU to the NC just 4 games into his CFB career? And regardless of what people have said while "raving about" about Miller's arm no one knows if he'll be better until he actually proves it. Get at me when he does!
Billygizzle08 8 months ago
@Billygizzle08 Pryor wil never be the best Qb at Ohio State. I hear that 20 times a day how Pryor was a heisman and the greatest QB who ever went to Osu. That is bullcrap. Pryor is a hell of a QB. But he isnt the best. Thats for damn sure. Braxton Miller is better than TP because he is Smart. Braxton Miller looks like Jordan during interviews. He is the calmest, humblest guy off the field. On it he is smart and has a great arm. And he has a better short pass than TP is HS.
brock71wc 7 months ago
@brock71wc Never once did I say that Pryor was the greatest QB who ever went to Ohio State but there's no denying that he was one of the most successful (had the 2010 season not been vacated). Pryor was 31-4 as a 3 year starter and was the MVP of back to back BCS bowls. As far as Ohio State QB's goes, Miller isn't better than Pryor yet until he actually proves something. At the end of his Ohio State career (not before it begins) is when you should evaluate who the better Ohio State QB is.
Billygizzle08 7 months ago
@Billygizzle08 My point is. Braxton Miller is a great Qb and already a better passer than Pryor. And Pryor was over rated. I am a giant buckeye fan, and I can say that with confidence. Miller will have a better Freshman season than Pryor. Because Pryor shined the most as a Qb when he stayed in the pocket and passed confidently. In stead of taking off out of the pocket like in his freshman year. Miller will have a better freshman year and a Better overall career at Ohio State. Go Bucks.
brock71wc 7 months ago
@brock71wc Those are very bold statements that I hope will come true as a Buckeye fan but just remember Miller has some very big shoes to fill. All predictions aside, we'll see what happens! 35 days until the season kicks off! GO BUCKS!!!
