  • I have an e39 528i that i want 2 swap with the 2jz-gte it should be fun i cant wait!! :)

  • how much did this cost you?

  • keep pressing 3, for the Mule sound! xD

  • open diff fail lmfaoo

  • Sad you don't know how to drive.

  • i believe that is an M3...

  • thinking of swapping an ls2 into a jaguar xj40 should be cool

  • u need to upgrade ur suspension

  • U all are retarded he has a vroom box in this car an ls2 is to fast for how slow this car is going.

  • 1:11-1:12 gayest laugh ever

  • camera man is a bit retarded

  • I would definitely do a 402 LS2 swap in a 318ti just to piss off those stupid fucking Bimmer fanbois. I still don't understand the ignorance of many people who think LS1 swaps across car brands is stupid. It is simple. An LS1 swap is not only very reliable, but also lighter because it is an aluminum block. You also can have REAL power and torque. Good luck with your POS bimmer motor the day you find throw a power adder on it and a month later it needs a $7,000 rebuild... Shoulda gotten an LS1!

  • @zzzurd haha hell yea, gotta love LSX technology in a euro car :D, i wanna do the same and take a integra type r and put a LS1 in it just ta piss off the hardcore honda fan boys that always go VTEC!!! honda fan boys are the most annoying

  • dont be jealous becuase you dont even own a car, none the less a custom haha

  • @Drew1drew2 Actually i own an E36.. And the engine is an amazing piece of engineering. With an amazing noise better than this lazy rumble.

  • @marcrockett

It just depends on what you like.. I perfer the lazy rumble over most european cars exluding the Aston Martins and Lamborghinis.

  • @marcrockett I have an e36 with the stock motor. You cannot tell me that this car is not greatly improved now...so just shut the hell up. I'm so sick of people bad mouthing LS swaps

  • @archimedes8989 You are not a real BMW lover if you think this is improved. Your a LS lover. So do your e36 some justice and sell it to someone that will love it the was it was made.

But i do admire customization.. and something unique. I just dont have a desire for american engines.

  • i guess the car handles better than you thoguht it would make that a track car man the car didnt even want to spin out haha

such a nice swap man!! those lsx motors will fit in anyhting! if i wasnt a ford fan i slap one in my DD kia optima haha

  • @shonzy7 try it in a fiat cinquecento

  • Dude, we want to see the speedo, preferably in a high gear at full throttle... Sounds mean though

  • is that a hard conv to complete,,,and can you use the standard diff..??

  • Comment removed

  • Limited slip diff you dumb ass..

  • funny cause i saw smoke coming off both tires

  • So you can use the same transmission?

  • i think they use the T56 from corvettes/camaros also

  • this car would be GOD!!! damn thats what is going to get someone killed when that thing rips em loose at 90+mph

  • how were you able to swap that in? do they make a kit for it or did you have to do a custom job? im guessing it isnt smog legal..

  • There are kits available...the LS1-powered BMW (particulary the E36) is a very popular conversion.

Smog laws depend on where you live. In an area that does not require emissions testing, it would be totally irrelevant. In still other areas, the engine simply could not release more pollutants than the factory engine. Some areas are very strict about not changing the engine at all.

  • That is good taste! What an amazing combination

  • Slightly sounds like the E39 M5's engine, Just slightly :D

  • That is because both cars use V-8s, which all souond similar on at least a (sometimes) almost subliminal level!

    V-8s rule!

  • I know, but an E39 M5 is a note that many engines dream of having

  • Not this LS1 :-D

  • holy crap!

i want one of those engines!

  • awesome job on the swap.you took two beautiful things and made them awesome.also, did you get the kit from vorshlag, dallas customs,or was it one off?

  • any particular message board you frequent? is the swap difficult?

  • I am also curious about the difficulty of this swap.

  • i have a 1993 e36 325i sedan. i am looking to put in a corvette engine in or a e46 m3 engine. how much for the swap?

  • sick sick car.. is your limited slip toast..? just wondering cuz the donut attempt at the end didnt work too well

  • no he just locked the wheel and tried to break traction with power instead of a clutch kick. together that wont work but separate they should work with that setup

  • a better driver is needed

  • if it was, then only one of the tires would be smokin n other not, & not enough steering control in front to let the rear power trasfer whip the tail out, probably slicks/full rubber tires in front will solve that issue
