  • Why waste the Quick Boomerang on that accursed dragon when the buster is just as effective?

  • Back in the day when I was first trying to beat Mega Man 2, I found out whilst trying out all the weapons against the Mech Dragon that the Quick Boomerang was the most effective against it. I've never tried using just the Mega Buster/plasma against it, but it's also in reference to Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters which that boss's weakness is the Quick Boomerang in one of the game's stories.

  • ill always prefer the 8 bit nes version but the music in this version is brilliant - especially around 1:49 & 3:00

  • this dude is garbage with that rapid buster shit i never use it imma 100% skill

  • okkusenman!

  • sounds like a dragonforce song

  • I loved the Megaman and X Anniversary collections theyre my most treasured games. Dont you people think its time they put a Contra or Resident Evil anniversary collection out. Im tired of Pacman

  • @Iceman0412 Pacman is Namco, and I doubt they'd do Collections on games that are still sorta available in the market.

  • U can kill the noodle things with metal blade

    great music by the way

  • Although it's a nice and fast catchy tune... Okkusenman is kinda overrated.

  • I disagree. I prefer the 8-bit vesion to this any day

  • I was talking about Okkusenman in general.

    :P

  • awesom music!

  • ouch, personally this hurts to hear after the original. but its cool i guess if you didnt grow up with the original version.

  • Personally, I HATED the NAVI mode because I liked playing the original game. Now, hearing the remix music..... I wanna try it again! :)

  • This remix sounds like it would be the one used if this song was ever put in the Mega Man X series.

  • This is why the Playstation 2 version of MMAC is better than the Gamecube version. You can have the Power Battles / Power Fighters remixes in the older games.

  • this remix wasnt all that bad. one of the better ones i've heard.

  • It is. I wish they had actually "remixed" the Wily Stage 1 music on Mega Man 1 on the collection rather than replacing it with another composition altogether (which was inferior).

  • Very good! I'm glad I got this far, and ALL the way on my cousin's Anniversary Collection.

  • They messed up the controls, in the GC version.

Capcom should have realised by now that nearly all Megaman games on a Nintendo system, had the jump on button A and not B.

  • nice runthru of this stage

    URATORA MAN URATORA MAN

    skip skip skip

    OKKUSENMAN OKKUSENMAN

  • Okkusenman sucks.

  • If there was one thing they remixed perfectly, it's the boss music.

The remix of Wily's castle is pretty good, too.

  • Man if i were you I wouldnt say i'm good at this game Your only good if you mastered the original nes mega man 2 *just saying* ;)

  • Awesome!!! The remix of the stage music is excellent!!! ^,^

  • ¿en que version sale ese remix o para que consola?porfavor respondan.

  • How do you unlock the remixed songs?

  • The in-game remix tracks are available from first turning on the game when setting Navi Mode on in the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions (supposedly because of the small disk size, the tracks are unavailable in the GameCube version). The various techno remix music pieces that can be listened to in the Secrets menu can be accessed by performing various means in the game (such as defeating a certain boss or beating a game).

  • Oh I see, the gamecube version just has the classic ones ... why Capcom why u_u, and it's not disk space, it's just lazy program methods I believe.

  • I don't see why it would be any other reason aside from the size of the GameCube disks, since the music, particularly the remix tracks, can be fairly large (and I'm sure all of the tracks play for about five minutes). Even if the GameCube DVDs(?) were able to contain them all, the interview with Keiji Inafune could possibly have taken up that amount of space, too.

  • mega man aniversary edition x box y ps2

  • whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? a megaman 2for the playstation 2 or playstation 1??

  • Megaman Anniversary Collection, check on ebay, you may find copies at a good price

  • For a less pricy alternative, you may want to check at GameStop, EB Games, or Play-N-Trade.

    They'll get you with S&H.

  • Has anyone ripped this music yet? I want it. <_<

  • Most of it's from the two arcades games and the Japan only Complete Works ports, and as far as I'm concerned, the only music that's really hard to find is the one for the second arcade game (which is where this Wily castle remix comes from.)

  • Would you like me to record this music and put it as a separate YouTube video. I'm currently trying to fulfill requests for these at the moment, and will be able to take any of the sort.

  • Could you record the Stage Select music?

  • Which version(s) of the music would you like? There are the original and remix pieces available in the compliation.

  • The remixed one, preferably.

  • Okay then. I should have the video ready by the end of August (I'm going on vacation soon, so I may not be able to work on it in the while).

  • this music is awesome.

    im working on covering it.

  • Though the music is awesome, this version of it is not, sadly. I prefer playing Navi-less anyway.
