Back in the day when I was first trying to beat Mega Man 2, I found out whilst trying out all the weapons against the Mech Dragon that the Quick Boomerang was the most effective against it. I've never tried using just the Mega Buster/plasma against it, but it's also in reference to Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters which that boss's weakness is the Quick Boomerang in one of the game's stories.
I loved the Megaman and X Anniversary collections theyre my most treasured games. Dont you people think its time they put a Contra or Resident Evil anniversary collection out. Im tired of Pacman
This is why the Playstation 2 version of MMAC is better than the Gamecube version. You can have the Power Battles / Power Fighters remixes in the older games.
It is. I wish they had actually "remixed" the Wily Stage 1 music on Mega Man 1 on the collection rather than replacing it with another composition altogether (which was inferior).
The in-game remix tracks are available from first turning on the game when setting Navi Mode on in the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions (supposedly because of the small disk size, the tracks are unavailable in the GameCube version). The various techno remix music pieces that can be listened to in the Secrets menu can be accessed by performing various means in the game (such as defeating a certain boss or beating a game).
I don't see why it would be any other reason aside from the size of the GameCube disks, since the music, particularly the remix tracks, can be fairly large (and I'm sure all of the tracks play for about five minutes). Even if the GameCube DVDs(?) were able to contain them all, the interview with Keiji Inafune could possibly have taken up that amount of space, too.
Most of it's from the two arcades games and the Japan only Complete Works ports, and as far as I'm concerned, the only music that's really hard to find is the one for the second arcade game (which is where this Wily castle remix comes from.)
Would you like me to record this music and put it as a separate YouTube video. I'm currently trying to fulfill requests for these at the moment, and will be able to take any of the sort.
Why waste the Quick Boomerang on that accursed dragon when the buster is just as effective?

@Iceman0412 Pacman is Namco, and I doubt they'd do Collections on games that are still sorta available in the market.

Although it's a nice and fast catchy tune... Okkusenman is kinda overrated.

Personally, I HATED the NAVI mode because I liked playing the original game. Now, hearing the remix music..... I wanna try it again! :)

This remix sounds like it would be the one used if this song was ever put in the Mega Man X series.

Very good! I'm glad I got this far, and ALL the way on my cousin's Anniversary Collection.

They messed up the controls, in the GC version.
Capcom should have realised by now that nearly all Megaman games on a Nintendo system, had the jump on button A and not B.

If there was one thing they remixed perfectly, it's the boss music.
The remix of Wily's castle is pretty good, too.

Oh I see, the gamecube version just has the classic ones ... why Capcom why u_u, and it's not disk space, it's just lazy program methods I believe.

For a less pricy alternative, you may want to check at GameStop, EB Games, or Play-N-Trade.
They'll get you with S&H.

Which version(s) of the music would you like? There are the original and remix pieces available in the compliation.

The remixed one, preferably.

Okay then. I should have the video ready by the end of August (I'm going on vacation soon, so I may not be able to work on it in the while).

Though the music is awesome, this version of it is not, sadly. I prefer playing Navi-less anyway.
