Yoga's Breath Opening is very Helpful and Notice the Difference when not doing it. I, have been an Asthmatic since childhood and Really can Feel the Flow of Body opening energy . It does make a Significant Change. Thankyu for all Your Video's.Peace..
i'm looking for the physical part of yoga not the spiritual one cause it conflict with my religion beleives, with so many type of yoga witch one you think it's for physical training? and what type of yoga you're practicing?
(well i am a chinese and my English might not be that good)
and after that 2 years I start to realize I can communicate with my body much by doing yoga, its not just a stretching exercise as many people might think
and this summer I start Osho's meditation and i understand more
I used to do yoga years ago and didn't get back into it until just 3 weeks ago. I'm so glad I have. I may not have been so miserable all this time had I gotten back into it sooner. Oh and thank you for your videos. Your 45 minute hip opener class has helped relieved me of a pinched nerve in the hip. I've been suffering from that for over a year.
thank u this was a gr8 video to knw the reason why but apart frm that u have said that practicing yoga only for 3 days. is it fine doing yoga everyday for 1hr which inclds surya namaskar and some back, stomach, stting, standing, neck and shoulder asanas And then i do power yoga every alternate day which is again for one hour. is this fine or is it that i am doing etc. plzzz relpy thank u :)
Esther, I only just started doing yoga through your videos but I have to say, I can already feel an improvement! Maybe not physically yet, but mentally after I have finished doing one of your exercises I feel so much better about starting the day! It's just what I needed! Thank you so much!
it makes me feel amazing! i love yoga, i'm gonna continue doing yoga, and im also gonna try hot yoga when im more advanced :) thanks for the video Esther!
I'm starting to get into yoga and I find your videos great and extremely useful. I was wondering if you could recommend any good yoga/meditation books just to explore the practice through another medium. :)
I have had a lower back injury which made me disabled. . I used the modality of acupuncture which got me on my feet. I went back to yoga but need to be gentle since my back is still in the healing process. Do you think it may rapid healing process if I do yoga on a consistant basis? I also have to do weight resistance to gain strength in my lower back but have to be gentle so I use light weights.
Since I started doing these sequences regularly, awareness of my physical state has definitely overflowed into my daily life. I'm beginning to notice and address when my breathing is shallow, or when I slouch at my desk. Even when I'm waiting for a train to come, or for a traffic light to change, I find myself taking advantage of the moment to ground myself and stand a little taller.
It's a wonderful thing. And it's only been about a month. Thanks for making it so accessible to me, Esther.
@tanguerayam Playlist is up now! Sorry, hard to know when the video goes life sometimes, youtube has its own schedule when you upload :-) Can only add the playlists in later..
Happy New Year Esther! You mentioned a playlist, but I am not finding one specific to your mention at the end of this video. Will you link or share, please?
its so true. after yoga, no stomach ache, no migraine or anything., you notice your body becoming stronger, healthier. it makes you want to do more exercises and eat well. yoga is a big part of my life now. thanks to you esther and your videos.
It is entirely up to you. A few things are important I 'd say: take time to do the asana 's as they should be done. Build it up: do a few simple excercizes from sequinces like Yoga for Beginners. There 's a whole series. You can also look up things like "yoga for shoulderpain", asthma, lower backpain etc. And enjoy what you are doing. Very important that. Yvonne
can yoga tone you up??
