Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ - Short arm weirdness on Potato Salad Hill (Moab, UT)

How are you getting so much stretch out of the suspension of a short arm? I know mine wouldn't drop anywhere near that far with a 4" SA and no sway bars.

Whats up fellas! One of two things wrong here is my bet. And both problems have happened to me with similar results. First would be that shitty First generation RC 4" lift that rough country stopped making and replaced with a much better CA's. Before I replaced my RC control arms 3 of the 4 rear had the threads strip out where they connected and adjusted in the middle of the CA. the other issue is also common when you beat on the ZJ. The R/upper control arm mount rips off the uni body.

I don't understand why off-road manufactures spend their engineering on short arms rather mass produce long arms? I love my long arms too. Patience got me long arms versus short arms.
