LOL, people, at the beginning the announcers said "It's an exhibition, for our entertainment." That means they are not trying to beat the shit out of each other. It's more about showing off moves that aren't a normal part of the repertoire like big throws and defending. Sort of a demonstration but with real submission attempts and real defending.

This is not a question of Fedor running from Brock, but Dana trying to control MMA. Listen if Dana really wanted the fight to happen, he would have made it happen without any strings attached. Dana wants Fedor to sign with the UFC and pay him scraps, while he make millions off of a Fedor vs. Brock fight. People read between the lines and see things for what they are. UFC is killing pay per view sells, and selling millions at the gate, while the fighters are paid peanuts.

That means a large portion of all the money the ufc would make from all the events Fedor would of participated in. If ufc agreed, them more fighters would try the same thing and Dana would not want that.
